For the first time, the picks have not delivered as expected and this just reiterates the excitement of uncertainty that prevails in any stock market. This quality of Stock Markets all over the world is one reason only the strong at heart will go into trading. All said, let us keep investing and growing.

If you really want a location where you can sell at the best possible prices, then consider Northern Nigeria ( probably because as an independent marketer, you are very close to the heart of smuggling petroleum products to neighbouring Countries)

The stock picks are very much appreciated. A lot of people need guidance in the stock market which they do not get adequately from their Stockbrokers. This makes such stock picks the toast of most new investors. It should be stated however, that the risks in the Stock Market are real and anyone willing to use the stock picks to invest should also be willing to take the risks.
I believe I am speaking the minds of most people

Upson,
Could be be a bit clearer on the new thread issue. Are you contemplating discontinuing the weekly stock picks for the monthly stock picks? I think some clarification will be in order concerning this issue as I particularly enjoyed the weekly stock picks and am already gathering some cash for that reason.

Upson, this thread has elicited so many comments and analysis. It is actually helping everyone understand more about this market. Ibime, kudos for your views and for insisting on the clarity of the process. This tends to bring out the best in people.

@Upson
I truly respect your need for privacy, hence I'll ask you to contact me on 08054473742 or send a mail to fakoad@yahoo.com. I am really interested in practicalising and not just reading, because I do have a Stockbroker, but he makes profit for me in the region of 20% per annum, which is quite low. I will like to to a test investment with you.
Thanks.
Sorry about the error. I actually sent this post to Upson, but a little error on the P.C. in the Cybercafe inevitably ensured it was sent in another's name. The post is from grabdbull

It is incumbent on me to first give kudos to Seun for this wonderful forum where Nigerians at home and abroad can relate with each other, and not be despised for where they come from.
That said, I must raise my hat to Upson for the stock picks thread. One week on and it has proven to be instructive. Imagine getting seriously accurate forecasts on a thread. I will have you know that inasmuch as I have always visited Nairaland as a guest, your thread for the past one week has made me register as a member. I implore you to keep adding value to the lives of as many as are interested in grabbing the opportunity to build themselves.
There are a few things I would like to know though: are you a registered stockbroker, are you going to be committed to posting on this thread? If not, where can we get a regular weekly forecast of Stock picks in the NSE as an alternative? If you are a stockbroker, how do we get you to represent us?
Once again, thank you very much
