I have a few questions if you have answers kindly respond.

1. Where do you suggest someone studying in University of Chester gets an accommodation.

2. Do you have an idea if I can get an accommodation at a cheaper rate </= £300 pcm?

3. Please what do I need to do before proceeding to apply for a job? (Like things to get done first - police certificate? NIN? etc? How do I go about it?)

4. Do you know anyone that is studying or have studied in Chester? (last year September intake or before then)

5. Is it compulsory I leave London immediately after isolation to school to get my BRP? Can I wait a few days?

6. How do I buy a train/bus ticket from London to Chester. What do you suggest?

7. How can one apply for a job? What sites can I view? (I know about indeed.co.uk)

8. How and where can I register my SIM card for NIMC? I was unable to get my NIN in Nigeria.

9. What network provider and bank account is best to use? (I have read about Monzo)

For worker visa such as Tier 2 yes since working and that visa is mandatory.... for Tier 4 when not all student work then no NIN doesn't come with BRP. You have to apply for it

They also have a testing center at Oregun Ikeja. Btw didn’t read the cost of Covid part- it was done N50,400 but I paid N51,105.60 or so, bank charge they said.

Let us say you use the free NHS test service to do a covid test as a 'fit for work' or study... If your employer is clued up and the type that is officious, he might reject it or ask you how you got the test... You will probably lie and say you had symptoms etc.

Having symptoms is something one might have to declare...

It just depends on why you want a covid test and whether you really need one!

Kindly Google 54gene then go to contact. Call them and ask all the questions you have. Their customer service is really good. My experience

Please I ve booked my ticket for 28th february to arrive on the 1st of March. If I take sample for covid test on thursday., Will it still be valid by 5 am March 1? Wanted to test on Friday but Synlab is not too confident the result will be out by Saturday.

It depends on what you need the Covid test for? You can get free test on the NHS if you have symptoms, otherwise it might have to be at private expense.

However, if it is for travel (at this time - only essential travel reasons), then it should be private. Some get away with NHS covid test but it is a risk.

Lastly, if you obtain a test without symptoms, how can you then go and explain it to whoever wanted you to do the test?

Yes, you can quarantine anywhere, London or Chester

Can I quarantine in London for 10 days and go to Chester after? My school is at Chester.

During my application, I sent a mail to the admission team and copied Holly to hasten my process. I, however, got an offer in 48hours after waiting for over a month. Now, Holly doesn’t work with the university anymore but Katy.

You can send a mail to the university admissions team and copy Katy. She has replaced Holly’s position. She should also be of good help.

Tell me what you want to know. Do note that, if you want your application processed faster, there’s a particular email you copy when you send a mail to the school. Worked for me.

The link sent to your email for your visa application is what to use.

You can check your email for the payment confirmation of your visa fee. You’ll see a link to sign into your application.

I guess tracking through the link to your visa application is more detailed unlike the app.

Have you called them? Have you tracked it? Have you been to their office?

Sign in to your application and click on provide documents and biometrics then track it. You’ll see it there.
