Hello everyone, pls I need urgent advice.. I had my interview 21st of this month, posted my transcript earlier. Just scheduled another interview for June 8 next week, and am filling my ds160 but in the space provided for reason being denied I dont know what to write that would be justifiable in the eye of the VO.

Meanwhile we intend paying hospital bill...will it increase my chances or wont it look desperate.

Also intend going with my DH dorm acct statement which wasnt presented in previous interview together with d Gtb statement and coop statement presented earlier. Gurus mbok kindly advise.

Am not sure they have the date readily available, i think they only monitor the page often to see if someone cancels appointment and closer date pops. I stand to be corrected and hoping it's true.

Latifahed:
Hey Gracei....i heard you can buy interview dates from agents undecided.....still a bit sceptical sha..

Madam ur post is wrong ...am just having my first child and it's my first us application ever...

Kuffour1267:

My dear nairalanders,
I applied for my first us visa in 2014 to have my first child. Denied.
Applied to have my second child this year in March (posted the transcript earlier). Denied again

Why did you answered that to have my first child in the USA instead of saying second child?? Is it your first or second child?? Because i can see you applied for my first us visa in 2014 to have my first child

My dear nairalanders,
I applied for my first us visa in 2014 to have my first child. Denied.
Applied to have my second child this year in March (posted the transcript earlier). Denied again

So I decided to apply again for the visa. I took time to fill my ds-160. In the space where they asked have you been denied a us visa before. I said Yes, and explained several reasons to contradict why I thought I was denied. In the space for employment, I also described what I do in my company with plenty story

Lagos dates were not looking favourable so I decided to pick Abuja.

On top visa only God knows how much I have spent. Visa fee twice, flight ticket to Abuja, hotel in Abuja, taxi to move around. It is well.

My interview was scheduled for 7:30 am this morning. I'm sure my burden of proof was more than Phemas own sef.

@mamaiyanu

Hii, pls what exactly is d reason you gave for being denied in ds160. I am trying to give another form and looking for a genuine reason to give. My interview was yesterday, i posted my transcript. Pls kindly respond.

Have u paid for another interview?? Am planning to pay for another fee but thinking if per adv if no closer date and expedite doesnt work wont it be a waste of money...
Ann2016:

hello dear, was it at midnight you saw the june date ? I've been checking endlessly for a date cos my edd is June and I was denied last month. so far noting yet , really starting to give up
Travel / Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Graceinme: 2:48pm On May 21, 2018
Thank you...i have been seeing a lot of rejection in d last 2months too on this thread but didnt let it discourage me as i was hoping I will have a diff story. Guess God's plan for me, however I will try my best if can get a closer date. It's just demeaning walahi.
I honestly feel this isnt your fault at all, there has been alot of Blue paper in the last couple of months, i have told people i know to not apply now as it has been crazy.

You did try your best and the funds seems reasonable to me.
Travel / Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Graceinme: 12:57pm On May 21, 2018
Thank you muchos for your response, i tried slipping in budget sheet that was when he ask for the figure on it and i told him. Also i was about passing DH introduction letter and payslips I was about joining it with correspondence but he noticed and declined d corresp.

I guess next time like u said i will join my statement with DH to show income is more than 477k. Am really praying I can get to schedule soon. Thanks once again.

OmoBendel24:

Genuinely, you tried, can't see a clear shortcoming just yet, especially if nothing of note is missing from this transcript. 477k times twelve is just a little over your budget for this mission. You should somehow have taken advantage somewhere on the interview to let the VO know trip's sponsorship is joint and by extension pass info that household income is more than 477k once yours is included.

Budget sheet, doctor and hospital correspondence should have been stylishly submitted together. Intro letter for hubby and proof of what you do should have gone together too.

Over the weekend, I saw a June date open in a flash, then it moved to another date in August and off they went, disappeared. So, all hope isn't lost, give it a try with both expedited and maybe personal hunt. Just work on and be sure of a new approach for your next interview, all the best.

I was really hoping to post my successful transcript here as I have read all post from part 1 till date and thoroughly prepared. All I keep seeing today was blue papers flying everywhere even the elderly pple, students going to study and couple with kids going for summer were not left out. Interview was for 8.30.

Vo. Pls give me few minutes I will be back shortly
Me. Was even happy using d opportunity to place my doc well and ready for drilling after standing for like 40mins.
Vo. Okie pls can i have ur passport
Me. Handed it over with a smile
Vo. Can see you are going to Virginia, y are u going there.
Me. Am expecting my first child and would love to have my baby in d US.
VO. How long will u be staying
ME. 8weeks, i booked a reservation with Bleep suite, would u like to see my bookings
VO. No I won't be needing that
VO. Have u travelled out of Nigeria
ME. Yes, i have been to the UK, Ghana and Rep of beniIn, was already bringing my old passport and he stretches to collect it. He went thru it and asked.
VO. Why were u in d UK
ME. Vacation and attended my cousins wedding, went further to tell him about Ghana trip that it was work related and Rep of benin
VO. That's Okie, what does your dh do
ME. He works with bleep telecoms network, manager bleep dept, i have his introduction letter and pay slips would u like to see.
VO. Okie, do you have statement?
ME. Yes, bringing them out. I also have my budget sheet would u want to see too
VO. No, how much do your have there.
ME. 14370 dollars for all expenses inclusive of 7310 dollars for my medical bills
VO. He went thru the payslip and acct statement. The acct statement is my dh statement as my sponsor with 6.3m naira reflecting his monthly salary of 477k also With his cooperative statement showing about 4m naira. No lump sum in the gtb statement just salary and rent received from tenants which isn't a lump sum.
VO. Am sorry blah blah, the blue paper showed up.

Note. I wasnt asked anything about my work, and i even tried telling him i have my bill from doctor and correspondence but he wasn't ready to see atall.
Pls gurus in the house am confused and devastated, thought I was going to aggressively get my visa as I was confident and well prepared. Meanwhile my dh 6months statement wasnt bulky, has just 4pages. Could this be the reason?
Pls is there any possibility of still getting a closer date? Are pple still cancelling appointment so closer date could pop up. And even expedite appointment these days isnt favourable pls do i have hope like this. Edd is mid July.

@micafe I saw you guys, I must have been the first pregnant woman they attended to today. I was denied also. I was hoping they would give you guys and the other lady.

I've been studying the page silently and was going to give feedback either I got it or not.

my transcript is below;

Vo: Good morning
Me: good morning
Vo: why are you going to the us?
Me: To have my baby in the US
Vo: Why would you want to have your baby in the US?
Me: I would like access to a better medical care and opportunity for dual citizenship for my child.
Vo: Tell me about your job
Me; I work with a top xxxxxxx, as xxxxx, (I detailed every bit of recent projects at work etc)
Vo: Your husband, what does he do (He mentions hubby's first name)
Me: He's a Bleep and partner in one of the top law firms xxxxx, I have his work documents here, I could show you.
Vo: There's no need for that. Has be been to the United states before?
Me: Yes he has, (Was going to tell him about the conference he attended but VO cut's in)
Vo: How long have you been married?
Me: A year and 4 months (He replies with the month and I nod)
Vo: Have you ever travelled outside Nigeria?
Me: Yes I was in Dubai last year (states month) for my honeymoon
Vo: How much have you budgeted for this trip?
Me: About 15,000 dollars, I could show you my correspondence and my budget sheet.
Vo: Don't worry. How long have you been saving for this trip?
Me: About a year and kicked up when I found out I was pregnant ( I was in the middle of stating that hubby would sponsor with his business account blah blah, then he says to hold on, types and says the sorry thing).

Didn't review the document.
Should I have been saving for a longer period as wedding is just a little over a year sef.
I'm not certain of reapplying except I can confirm a date in the first few weeks of May.

BTW I applied for B1/B2 but I don't think that's the case, because he could have given any one he thinks my reasons deserve.

Only God knows the crtiteria in getting visa again. Pls dont give up, i am also applying against may and am getting discouraged with this recent denial this month. Pls people has anyone gotten visa in the last 3weeks, kindly post transcript so we can learn.
