On Sunday 05/08/18, around 7:30 pm, a family

made a break through discovery of a strong Ijebu Juju that the Ijebu landlord had used to tie them on one spot,

where they were making no progress, sicknesses, death and infirmities were the only recurring thing in their lives.

The family eventually burnt the Juju and are keen on relocating from Ajegunle Ikorodu. It is celebration times for them.

A nail artist from Houston, Texas, identified as Ayanna Williams, has been crowned with the title of the world's longest fingernails by the 2018 Guinness World Records, and in total her nails measure more than 18 feet long, each of which is just under two foot long.

She has also revealed that the most challenging thing about having extremely long fingernails, which can take up to one week to paint, is pulling up her trousers.


While she's constantly getting lots of attention for her nails, and knows she is rather unique, her friends and family think it's quite normal.

In order to take care of her nails, Ayanna uses anti-bacterial soap and a nail brush to clean them daily. And to help them grow, she regularly applies hardener and a thin layer of acrylic.

'To let my children know that anything they want to accomplish can be done. It takes courage, discipline and patience but it can be accomplished,' said Ayanna on her reason for applying for the record.
'I am elated and honoured. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd make it into the Guinness World Records books!'

MouthAction is dangerous, Gynaecologist warns

A professor, Adegboyega Fawole of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, UITH, has warned that Human Papiloma Virus (HPV) has been found in the throat of people engaging in MouthAction.

Mr. Fawole, who is of the Department of Gynaecology, UITH, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Ilorin on Tuesday that HPV was mostly sexually transmitted.

He said that the virus caused almost all cases of cervical cancer and could cause genital warts and anal cancer.

“MouthAction has been linked with an increased risk of acquiring HPV infection in the mouth and with an increased risk of developing oral cancers that are caused by HPV.

“However, sex in general has also been linked with these risks,” he said.

The gynaecologist warned that those engaging in MouthAction were twice more likely to have oral HPV infection than those who did not engage in MouthAction.

Mr. Fawole, however, said there was no need for individuals in monogamous relationships to restrict their sexual activities if the pair was in good health.

He called on people to always go for screening and check-up to guard against cancer of any kind.
