@Spywareczar, and u said ur friend is a graphics desiger? That tells me the kind of graphics designer u ar urself. He's a graphics designer but cannot design his own logo. What do u people mean when u usually say one is a graphics designer? Someone that puts images and texts together? Someone that doesnt know the difference between vector and raster? Someone that just designs some stuff for some northern based illiterate businessmen that usually like shouting colors and call color riot a creative design?

Like erad said, logo design is more than knowing how to design posters and handbills. Logo design is one way of knowing a professional graphics designer. Do u know that these big companies u hear about paid thousands of Dollar to design their logos? Some paid about 500,000 USD to design a logo? Do u know how much Olympic logo designer was paid? That tells u that a logo is not a joke.

adobe illustrator is ideal for logo designing. again, which version of cdr ar u using? becos, it's good to export to png also. i dont think lower versions like x3 export to png. did u say ur friend is a graphics designer or does 'graphics designer' his nickname?

see the screenshot, for what? thank u erad, u didnt go and design a wallpaper and pin all great softwares on your task bar. i go for ur simplicity. mine, i hid every icon from my desktop and i use default hp desktop wallpaper. there is no need showing it. let's turn this section to Deviantart. let's stop this nonsense bragging and showmanship.

Pls guys, am new here. Have heard a lot about NairaLand, so i decided to register. I am a budding graphics designer who is fairly well in the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and CorelDraw. Can someone educate me how NairaLand operates? Is it like facebook?
