And other advertorial jargon.

If you want to build a social network, who cares. But for you to say that that thing you assembled will challenge facebook means that you are either joking or out of your website design mind.

It is PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to learn web design in 30 days.
Do you know the difference between Web Design and Web Development?

Do you call html, css and javascript web development?
So you will teach html for 4 days, css for 4 days and js for 6 days?

Here is my advice, sit down and learn html, css, js, jquery, ajax, php and mysql, then design a solid online learning website and offer your trainings for subscription.

Pls how many html, body and head tags will you have in one html file?

Your favicon is not even showing.
Your logo is babyish.
'For advert' design banner is a slap to graphics design.

The point is that most of us think that facebook is just a piece of cake.

The design is good for a start.
U said it's world's largest social network.
Why then did u use the local name: NairaTrain?
With that name, I dont expect the site to get users that are not Nigerians.

Why is it that Nigerians use Naira this, Naira that or Naija this, Naija that.
Why not think of a name that will become a brand tomorrow.
Think of facebook, twitter, youtube, etc. These are classic names.
There are lots of ground-breaking names to use.
All you have to do it to think.
Let's not settle for some cheap names.

These are web design mistakes u must avoid at all cost:
1. Dont start ur html file without a doctype.
2. Dont use html to compress ur image. Like having a 1200px/600px image and using html to force it to 400px/200px. Use photoshop to adjust the size.
3. Dont use 'Save As' in photoshop to save ur images. Even if u wil select the image format as jpg, dont use save as. Use 'Save for web and devices.'
4. Dont leave ur image alt empty. Write something descriptive of the image in ur alt.
5. Dont use meaningless names to save ur images. Like: img1.jpg, ok.jpg, abc.jpg.
6. Dont use table for ur website layout. Use divs.

Color
The dark-green color makes the interface too dull.

Hover
1. The hover image is not perfectly aligning with the link background.
2. You need to remove the hover image from the shopping cart icon. When you hover on the cart, the hover image appears awkwardly at the background.

Typography
The font you used on the merry Christmas slide image is not professional and it's not properly aligned, and you need to reduce the line-height a bit.

Cursor
When you open the pages that display bags or shoes, if you hover on a shoe, the hover effect is quite good, but why not make the cursor pointer instead of default. This will tell the user that the particular shoe or bag can be clicked.

I was doing a search on google and stumbled on this url: www.nairaland(dot)net, at first I thought it's the same with nairalnad.com. Maybe when you type in .net, it will redirect you to .com. But I clicked on the url, and it didn't take me to nairaland.com, but to one crappy website forum like that.
Why is it that people celebrate mediocrity? Even if I want to build a forum website, why calling it ?
Well let me not blame the .net guy much because I don't know between him and Seun who first started.

Google.com vs. Doogle.com
Sometime last year, Google threatened to sue a young South African web developer to court for naming his site doogle.
According to Google, the name sounds like their name and may mislead people. But the guy behind Doogle through his lawyer said no way. That he will continue to use the name since they are not related and his company is not a search engine company. I think Google later found out that they may not win the case, and consequently dropped the case.
