Anyone still on AP since 7th of June or thereabouts?
Do you have your Passport with you or them?
Do they have your I-20 and SEVIS receipt?

My opening balance was 3.4m, total credit 156m, total debit 133m, closing balance 27m. In fact about 26m entered the day I printed which was a day to my interview. So I think it depends on the outflow and inflows. Opening and closing balance don’t matter much. Although, there were cases where 26m, 23m, 10m, 11m entered the account.

What if the opening balance on a 6 months SOA is about 76000 and the closing balance is abot 12million... Is this acceptable.

I have a scholarship for my program for the 4 semesters which does not require any work and got a GA with full tuition waiver and stipends.

Scholarship (you are not asked to work for the department to have it) is different from graduate assistantship (you have to work for the department to have it). Which were you offered?

I actually used uncle as sponsor. Although I have a scholarship and full tuition waiver with a deficit less than $8k. Still on AP for now. So I think it depends on how you handle the VO.

Please I noticed that people who have their visa approved are sponsored by their Dad/mom/husband, tuition waiver, stipend or no tuition waiver, most people who mention uncle, with part tuition waiver and stipend have been denied as I have been reading. Please has anyone come across tuition waiver, stipend with a deficit and sponsored by an uncle, to be honest I think if you answer the questions correctly the final deciding factor is the relationship of the person who sponsors you, I have read up to 60 VO interviews and this has seemed to me like the deciding factor.

Thank you for the great jobs you’re doing here. I have been following this thread for some days now. Please I have a question; I had my interview on 7th of this month and I was placed on AP. The VO struck out the part that says if you do not hear from them within 60days (and put 7), you can contact to request for an update.

I don’t know if I should contact them or chill. What do you guys think, is there anyone with similar experience here?

I had a deficit of $8k on my I-20 and my SOA had balance of N27m+

Please your suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
