CultureIgbo Nation, I'm Stirred By Three Profound Moments To Speak Now. Val Ozigbo by grassrootsig(op): 5:18pm On Nov 25, 2025
A 12-POINT LETTER TO NDIGBO, BY VALENTINE OZIGBO

My beloved Ndigbo,

I write to you today with a sober heart and a renewed conviction. In the last few weeks, the Lord has taken me on a deep journey, a journey of reflection, rediscovery, and spiritual awakening.

Three profound moments have stirred my spirit and compelled me to speak now.

1. My visit to our brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the thoughtful and far-reaching conversations we held, some of which I hope to share in due course, and the reactions that followed the court's pronouncements concerning him.

2. The deepening insecurity across our nation, which has placed Nigeria in international headlines for reasons that trouble every conscientious citizen.

3. A series of deep engagements with respected leaders, one of which prompted me to pick up and begin reading the remarkable book, “The Interesting Narrative” by Olaudah Equiano. The opening chapters alone shook me in a way I did not expect.

All these encounters, along with the deep stirrings within my spirit, have made it clear to me that we have entered a very consequential season in our collective story.

Before I go further, let me state clearly:

I do not come to you as one who claims perfect knowledge, nor as a man seeking to speak from a lofty place. I speak as your brother — an Igbo man, a Nigerian, and a citizen who longs to see our story redeemed in our own lifetime because I believe, unshakably, in the possibility of our collective renewal. I write because the burden within me has grown too heavy to keep unspoken, and if these words strengthen even one soul or awaken one conscience, then they have served their purpose.

My people, these are not ordinary days. We have stepped into a prophetic hour, a sacred season in which heaven begins to reorder the destiny of a people who have carried pain with dignity, endured hardship with courage, and yet, by the mercy of God, remained standing when many expected them to fall.

1. Understanding God’s Seasons

The Holy Scriptures remind us that God moves with purpose through times and seasons. When Israel wandered in the wilderness for forty years, even the intercession of Moses could not shorten that appointed journey. God may comfort us within a process, but He never acts outside His own timing.

This is why Jeremiah 29 speaks with unusual relevance in this moment.

Jeremiah addressed a nation living in exile, a people wounded and confused, surrounded by voices that promised instant deliverance. Yet God’s message through him was unmistakable: Their season had a divinely established duration of seventy years.

No rebellion, no emotion, and no impatience could alter what heaven had ordained.

But restoration was assured. Their pain was not abandonment. It was preparation.

Jeremiah 29 teaches us a profound truth: Nations also move on divine calendars, and when the appointed hour arrives, no empire and no opposition can stand in the way of God’s redemption.

2. Who Are God’s People in This Hour?

God’s covenant people are all who believe in Him and choose to walk in His truth. They include both the natural heirs and those adopted into grace, united not by ancestry alone but by faith, obedience, and alignment with His will.

Yet when one studies our history with spiritual clarity, a pattern becomes unmistakable. Through years of migration, resilience, hardship, and remarkable preservation, the Igbo story carries the imprint of a people with a distinct covenant identity.

A people scattered but never shattered.
A people wounded but never defeated.
A people misunderstood but continually preserved.

Our journey echoes that of ancient Israel in ways too profound to ignore. We resemble the prodigal son, still heirs, still loved, still destined, finding our way back to identity, responsibility, and purpose. Every renaissance begins with such rediscovery.

3. Our Prophetic Timeline

From independence until this very moment, we have lived through cycles of promise and heartbreak. Many have discerned that we are travelling through a prophetic season, a time of refining, awakening, and quiet preparation for something greater than we have yet seen — a new chapter in our national story.

I cannot claim certainty about the moment of God’s intervention. But in my spirit, I sense that Nigeria, and especially the Igbo nation, is at the threshold of a divine realignment, a sacred turning point.

My own journey, marked by trials, moments of miraculous deliverances, profound spiritual awakenings, and the steady hand of providence, has taught me one enduring truth: when we align spiritually, morally, politically, and culturally, we create the conditions for a new era of healing and national renewal.

4. Prophetic Witnesses Confirming This Season

God has never left His people without a witness. Across generations and across nations, He raises voices that help us discern the moment.

In this season, several respected spiritual leaders have spoken words that echo with unusual clarity.

Pastor Paul Adefarasin, before the 2023 elections, declared, “Saul came before David. Saul will come, and David will come after.”

Pastor David Ibiyeomie, speaking directly to the Igbo question, affirmed, “What is happening to the Igbo man in Nigeria is not normal… it is spiritual… but the Igbo will soon see the light.”

Bishop David Oyedepo, calling our nation back to unity, reminded us, “No tribe owns this country. We own this nation together.”

Prophet Tomi Arayomi, speaking on divine timing, announced, “Nigeria has five years until the next divine visitation.” And in a personal conversation with him, he reiterated something that resonated deeply in my spirit: that the Igbo carry a strategic part in God’s unfolding plan for Nigeria at this moment in history.

President Olusegun Obasanjo, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, and Professor PLO Lumumba have each, in their own distinct voice, acknowledged the remarkable contribution of the Igbo to African civilisation. Their affirmations echo what history already records: the Igbo spirit of enterprise, resilience, creativity, and moral courage is one of the great gifts God has placed within the African story.

Recently, I had a deeply enriching conversation with Reverend Ladi Thompson, who spoke with clarity about the continental responsibility carried by the Igbo. This responsibility becomes visible whenever we rise to our highest selves. Our discussion stirred something within me, and it was through his counsel that I returned to the extraordinary story of Olaudah Equiano.

These affirmations point us to one truth:
The Igbo are not merely an ethnic group.
We are a civilisational force, creative, unbreakable, resilient, and essential to the rebirth of Africa.

And running through all these voices is one divine whisper:

“Ndi Igbo, you are seen.
You are valued.
Your sacrifices are known.
Your contributions are undeniable.
But your future must be reclaimed with humility, purity, and wisdom.
Rise to the responsibility of destiny.”

5. Lessons from Olaudah Equiano

Born in 1745, kidnapped from his home at 11, sold into slavery, and later freed at 21, Equiano rose to become one of the most influential abolitionists the world has ever known. Yet beyond the arc of his achievements, what moved me most was his grasp of divine providence.

He saw God’s hand guiding every chapter. Each hardship was a classroom. Each season of pain was preparation. Through the seasons of his life, he believed that he was always exactly where God needed him to be. He understood that his journey was never about personal triumph, but about divine purpose unfolding through him.

One of his most powerful reflections reads, “Trials and disappointments are sometimes for our good. God might have permitted this to teach me wisdom and resignation; for He had hitherto shadowed me with the wings of His mercy, and by His invisible hand brought me by a way I knew not.”

Equiano’s life offers a prophetic echo of who we are as a people: Kidnapped yet preserved. Oppressed yet unbroken. Dismissed yet essential to history’s unfolding. Scarred yet lifted by God to shape the destiny of nations.

His life teaches us that adversity is not the end of purpose. Often, it is the very soil in which destiny takes root, and those who endure the night with faith are often the ones trusted with the dawn.

6. We Are the Judea People of Today

The arc of our history bears a striking resemblance to the ancient Judeans. We have walked through seasons marked by pogroms, war, displacement, misunderstanding, and astonishing resilience. We have been scattered yet productive, wounded yet unstoppable, diminished yet never erased.

And just as Judea rediscovered itself when its prophetic time was fulfilled, so too are the Igbo approaching a moment where our identity, our history, and our divine assignment converge. What looked like loss becomes preparation, and what felt like exile becomes the pathway home.

7. Davids and Samuels — A Generation, Not One Man

It is essential to understand that the David we await is not a single heroic figure, nor is the Samuel of this time a lone prophet with exclusive access to God. Heaven is summoning a generation that carries both courage and discernment.

He is raising Davids who are courageous, humble, pure in intention, and ready to serve. He is raising Samuels who discern with accuracy, speak with truth, correct with love, and carry the fire of the Spirit without fear.

God does not recruit through lineage or privilege. He looks for purity.

Whoever purifies the heart can become an instrument of change in this hour.

8. God’s Formula for National Healing — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Nations do not stumble into renewal. God has already revealed the pathway:

“If My people who are called by My name shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land.”

This is not a poetic flourish. It is an instruction, a covenant, Heaven’s contract with Earth. If we embrace humility, repentance, righteousness, and purity of heart, God Himself promises to step into our story, cleanse our wounds, and heal our land. It is guaranteed by the One who cannot lie.

9. Destiny Requires Purity and Responsibility

Umunnem, ihe na-eme anyi si anyi na aka. (Our hands determine our destiny.)

Our greatest need today is to return to our Chi — our God — as the centre of our individual and collective lives.

Our wealth is not the problem.
Our creativity is not the problem.
Our ambition is not the problem.

The problem begins when these blessings start to substitute for God, becoming idols of pride, excess, or vanity.

Prosperity is not a sin. Idolatry is.

Wealth with purpose is God’s desire.

A blessed Igbo nation is needed for Africa’s renewal. Our influence becomes spiritual power only when it is surrendered to God.

10. A Word to Fellow Nigerians from Our Sister Ethnic Nationalities— You Too Are Special

Every tribe in Nigeria carries a unique grace. Each tribe, each region, each culture brings its own brilliance to the national story.

My message to Ndigbo is not a declaration of superiority, but a reminder of a sacred responsibility, to call us back to our highest selves. The renaissance of the Igbo nation should be a gift to Nigeria’s common good, not a cause for anxiety. When Ndigbo flourish, we strengthen the federation we all share.

Unity in diversity must become our collective strength.

11. Returning to Our Source

Let us return to God our Father; Jesus Christ our Redeemer; the Holy Spirit, our Guide.

And let us continually seek the covering of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Nothing can stop a people anchored on God. To them who believe, nothing shall be impossible.

12. A Call to Ndigbo

My people, we are closer to restoration than we realise. But destiny does not come to a divided or impure people.

The hour calls for CUSP: Courage. Unity. Strategy. Purity.

And a rising generation of Valiant men and women

This is our moment, and we must embrace it.

CLOSING PRAYER

I urge every ezigbo nwafo Igbo reading this letter to kneel and pray:

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for Your mercy, Your timing, and Your plans for Ndigbo.
Purify our hearts.
Cleanse our land.
Raise Davids.
Raise Samuels.
Make us a people You can trust with destiny.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Daalu nu, Umunne m.

FamilyVal Ozigbo Commiserate With Azodo Family Of Amesi, Aguata LGA by grassrootsig(op):
Over the weekend, I joined the Azodo family and the good people of Amesi, my beloved hometown, as we paid our final respects to a true matriarch and virtuous daughter of our soil, the late Mrs. Theodora Nwanyiadinamma Azodo.

Mama Theodora’s life stands as a luminous testimony to the grace and faithfulness of God. To be called home at the blessed age of 99 is not merely a milestone—it is a divine affirmation of a journey lived with purpose, dignity, and unwavering devotion. The atmosphere carried both the weight of loss and the warmth of celebration, befitting a life that enriched so many and left behind an enduring legacy.

Mama was a living library of wisdom, a bridge across generations, and a pillar of godliness. Her longevity was more than years—it was a beacon of hope, a reminder of the blessings that follow a life anchored in faith, hard work, compassion, and service.

For me, the bond was deeply personal. Her home was my second home growing up. Through her palm kernel processing facility, she empowered countless young people—including myself. I often worked there to augment the support my parents provided. But beyond the little money we earned at that tender age, the true wealth we received came from the morality, discipline, and life lessons absorbed while watching her, learning from her, and walking in her shadow.

As we laid her to rest, my heart overflowed with gratitude—for the life she lived, for the timeless values she instilled in her children and all who crossed her path, and for the indelible mark she has left on the Amesi community. We do not mourn her as those without hope; we celebrate her as a divine gift, a woman who ran her race with excellence and finished strong. She leaves behind a blueprint of purpose, faith, and impact.

My heartfelt condolences go to the entire Azodo family, her loved ones, and the entire Amesi community. May you find comfort in knowing that Mama rests now in the eternal peace and perfect light of our Lord.

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

PoliticsValentine Ozigbo, Pens An Urgent Open Letter To President Bola Tinubu. by grassrootsig(op):
AN URGENT OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT TINUBU

By Valentine Ozigbo

Your Excellency,

I woke up this morning with a weight that has become far too familiar to millions of Nigerians — the ache that comes from watching a nation we love slip repeatedly into cycles of violence, fear, and preventable tragedy.

I ask your pardon for making this an open letter. I do so only because I fear that a private communication may never reach you, and the matters I raise here touch the very heart of our national interest and the future of our country.

In recent days, we have witnessed schoolchildren abducted in Kebbi, worshippers murdered in Kwara, commuters seized on our highways, and a senior military officer cut down by bandits. These are not just headlines; they are open wounds on the conscience of our Republic.

I write not in anger, but in fidelity to a country that has given me everything — identity, purpose, and faith. And I write to you because you occupy the only office constitutionally empowered to steady our nation’s ship at a time of gathering storms. The presidency is never an easy burden, but history often calls individuals to rise above the noise of politics and embrace the quiet courage of leadership.

Today, Nigerians are wrestling with questions no citizen of a functioning state should ever have to ask: Is sorrow enough? Is silence wise? Is protest futile? Is hope naïve? In times like this, nations look to their leaders not merely for explanations, but for direction.

As Harry Truman famously said, “The buck stops here.” That responsibility, with all its weight, rests with you.

Below, I offer five thoughts — not as criticism, but as earnest counsel from one citizen to another, from one leader to another, both of us tied to the same destiny.

1. A Decisive National Campaign Against Insecurity:
Nigeria does not lack brave men and women in uniform. We do not lack intelligence. We do not lack equipment. What we lack — painfully and visibly — is unified, unmistakable political will.

We know where these criminals hide. We know the networks that feed them. We know their local collaborators and their powerful patrons.

Sir, a nation cannot negotiate with those who have chosen war against civilisation. Draw the red line. Read the riot act. Make it clear that no title, no immunity, no foreign interest will shield anyone who sponsors or protects terror.

Leadership, at its core, is moral clarity. And moral clarity is always an act of courage.

2. The Silence of Those Who Should Speak:
Your Excellency, a nation survives not only by the strength of its government, but by the courage of its moral voices. Yet today, far too many of those voices are silent — elders who once spoke boldly, faith leaders who once carried the nation’s conscience, and statesmen and women who once stood as guardians of our unity.

Their silence is costly — and dangerous. It isolates your government, weakens national resolve, and emboldens those who thrive in chaos. As Martin Luther King Jr. warned, “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends.”

And Pastor Niemöller’s haunting reflection reminds us of the consequence of apathy: “Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me.”

Sir, only the President can awaken this moral army. Only you can call them to stand again, to speak again, and to remind Nigerians that we are a people worth fighting for.

Silence is not neutrality. Silence is surrender. And your leadership can break it.

3. A Structural Solution — The Orange Union Model:
Your government has taken important steps toward decentralisation, including local government autonomy. But Nigeria’s crisis is more profound than any single reform can reach. From my engagements with scholars, statesmen and women, and global experts, the Orange Union Model — championed by the Fatherland Group — emerges as one of the most coherent pathways for a 21st-century Nigeria.

This model recognises Nigeria as a union of nations, much like the European Union — one defence, one foreign policy, one currency, but with regional autonomy that unleashes innovation, competition, and justice.

This is not secession. It is Nigeria reimagined, not Nigeria undone.

Bringing The Patriots, the Fatherland Group, and your administration into one harmonisation dialogue could become your most consequential legacy.

4. Rule of Law as the Foundation of Renewal:
You recently condemned the commercialisation of the judiciary. That honesty was refreshing. But we must also confront a harder truth: a compromised judiciary does not emerge in a vacuum. It emerges when political actors normalise impunity.

What happens in parts of INEC and within some corridors of the judiciary is not merely malpractice — it is an assault on democracy itself.

No nation governed by transactional justice can ever know peace.

The reform of our courts and our electoral system — with electronic voting, real-time transmission of results, and independent candidacy — is not optional. It is existential.

5. Democracy Needs a Strong Opposition:
I joined the APC not out of convenience but out of conviction — after witnessing how selfishness, internal sabotage, and incompetence wrecked the Labour Party from within. I defended your government at the time, when you were falsely accused of being behind the crisis in the Labour Party because I knew the truth.

But today, our democracy faces a new danger: an opposition so weak that the ruling party risks becoming unchecked.

Democracy requires balance. Balance requires competition. Competition requires strong institutions on both sides.

Do not suffocate the opposition — directly or indirectly. A confident leader does not fear dissent; he cultivates it. Strong democracies do not emerge in the absence of opposition; they flourish because of it.

THE HUMAN COST WE CAN NO LONGER IGNORE
Twenty-five girls abducted in Kebbi.
Church invaded and worshippers murdered in Kwara.
Children kidnapped on their way to school.
Citizens dragged off highways.
A military general ambushed, abducted, and murdered on camera.
Security is the first duty of the state.
When it fails, nothing else stands.

A HUMBLE PLEA ON THE MATTER OF NNAMDI KANU

Yesterday, I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

I left with a renewed conviction that a political solution is both just and strategic. Releasing him will calm the South East.

It will reduce violence. It will open doors for healing. It will show that your administration leads with wisdom, not fear.

Even if he erred, nations are healed through mercy, not martyrdom.

Agitations across Nigeria — North, West, and East — are cries for justice, not calls for division. With the Orange Union Model, strong institutions, and the fair application of law, these tensions will simmer down.

Mr President, My Final Word Is One of Hope
Nigeria has reached an inflection point. Crisis can either consume a nation or awaken it. The choice, ultimately, is leadership.

As former U.S. President John Adams said, “Facts are stubborn things.”

And the facts compel urgent, courageous action.

I believe — deeply — that Nigeria can still rise. And I believe that if you choose courage over caution, history will look kindly on your tenure.

Your task is great, but so is your opportunity.

With respect and unwavering hope,

PoliticsRenaissance In Anambra's Agriculture Under Moghalu's Leadership by grassrootsig(op): 8:31am On Sep 21, 2025
RENAISSANCE IN ANAMBRA'S AGRICULTURE UNDER MOGHALU'S LEADERSHIP

Imagine Anambra State thriving, with lush farms teeming with life, and markets overflowing with fresh, vibrant produce.

This vision will become a reality under Dr. George Moghalu's leadership, as agriculture transforms into the backbone of the state's economy, unlocking unprecedented growth and prosperity.

Anambra's rich soil and vibrant population once made it an agricultural powerhouse.

Today, despite its potential, the sector struggles with subsistence farming, limited support, and unfair market practices.

The current challenges are stark.

Aging farmers lack modern tools and support, while youths abandon farming due to lack of dignity, support, and profitable opportunities.

Post-harvest losses and unequal market dynamics persist, and government support is inadequate.

Dr. George Moghalu recognizes that the root cause of unemployment and economic stagnation in Anambra lies in the neglect of agriculture and its value chain.

His vision is to transform Anambra's agriculture from a survival activity to a thriving agribusiness, creating wealth, jobs, and food security.

By investing in agriculture and its value chain, Moghalu's administration aims to unlock new opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.

Under his leadership, Anambra's agriculture will be revolutionized, becoming an engine of growth, generating wealth and prosperity for all.

Farming will evolve into a lucrative venture, attracting investments, talent, and innovation.

The state's economy will flourish as agriculture drives economic development, creating a ripple effect of prosperity that benefits every sector.

His administration will introduce modern farming practices, including mechanized farming and irrigation systems, and promote climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable practices.

Youths will be empowered through training and support in modern farming and agribusiness, and Innovation

Centers will be established to provide resources, mentorship, and access to land.

In the long run, the expected outcomes are impressive. :

Anambra's agriculture will experience a significant surge in productivity, generating numerous job opportunities and substantially increasing rural incomes.

This is a transformation that will also lead to a notable reduction in food importation, saving the state's substantial resources and ensuring long-term food security.

With Dr. Moghalu's leadership, Anambra's agriculture will rise to new heights, unlocking a brighter future for farmers, rural communities, and the state.

The era of struggle will give way to an era of prosperity, as Anambra's agricultural potential gets finally unleashed.

YES, A New Anambra is POssible.

PoliticsAnambra Will Say Goodbye To Glorified Agbero:- Chief George Moghalu. by grassrootsig(op): 10:11am On Sep 19, 2025
WITH DR. GEORGE MOGHALU, ANAMBRA WILL SAY GOODBYE TO GLORIFIED AGBERO.

In Anambra State, the scourge of touts, locally known as "Agbero," has become a pervasive issue, instilling fear and frustration in the hearts of citizens, especially the youth.

These individuals, often masquerading as agents of order, extort money from struggling commercial motorists, Keke riders, and petty traders, perpetuating a culture of intimidation and lawlessness.

They inflict harm with lethal weapons, causing frustration, injury, and even loss of life.

Intimidation and brutality have become the hallmark of their operations.

They embody chaos and oppression, undermining the very fabric of society.

Despite attempts to rebrand them with uniforms, the reality remains unchanged – touts are a menace, not a solution.

Anambra needs a leader who will decisively put an end to the reign of all criminal elements masquerading as Agbero, a leader who will restore peace and order in our markets and motor parks. Someone who will alleviate the sufferings of our people, particularly the over-taxed traders, motorists, and small business owners.

Chief Dr. George Moghalu, a seasoned leader with a proven track record of governance and public service, is
armed with a wealth of experience and innovative approach to problem-solving.

He has the strategic leadership acumen to effectively address and combat Agberoic issues.

He believes that the presence of these touts undermines the state's progress and discourages investment.

Dr. George Moghalu's approach to tackling the Agbero menace is rooted in innovation, experience, and a deep understanding of what drives progress.

His strategies are designed to:

Restore Safety : Ensure that our markets and motor parks are secure for all citizens.
Promote Economic Growth : Foster a culture of dignity, decency, and lawful enterprise, creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, free from extortion and harassment.
Empower Our People : Protect the rights and dignity of traders, motorists, and small business owners, and promote a society free from intimidation.

This astute man of experience has given his word that his administration will take decisive action to eradicate the menace of touts turned criminals in the state.

The people can take him at his word, as he has a track record of following through on promises.

Under his leadership, Anambra will bid farewell to the era of exploitation, extortion, and intimidation.

The days of touts and thugs extorting money from transporters and traders will be over.

Dr Moghalu's administration will prioritize dignity and fairness, to ensure that governance is people-centric, empathetic, and accountable.

As he aptly puts it, "Let us unite, and break this cycle of intimidation."

The end of Anambra's glorified Agbero era is at hand.

Let's all look forward to a future free from their scourge and other criminal elements in our dear state, because Chief Dr. George Moghalu will undoubtedly make it happen.

PoliticsThe Power Of Incumbency Is Not Absolute: Why Anambra Deserves A Change. ...... by grassrootsig(op): 2:05am On Sep 16, 2025
THE POWER OF INCUMBENCY IS NOT ABSOLUTE: WHY ANAMBRA DESERVES A CHANGE.

......with Dr George Moghalu as the best alternative.

In Nigerian politics, incumbency is often seen as a significant advantage.

However, history has shown that this power is not absolute.
It is not a birthright. It is earned.

Incumbents can be defeated, and new leaders can emerge to bring about much-needed change.

Several instances nationwide demonstrate this point.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, as an incumbent, still lost to Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

Bisi Akande (Osun State), Niyi Adebayo (Ekiti State), Mohammed Abubakar (Bauchi State), and Idris Wada (Kogi State) all incumbents also lost.

These and many more cases show that unfulfilled promises, poor performance, intra-party crises, and other factors can lead to an incumbent's downfall.

For clarity, the Nigerian Constitution allows an elected official to serve one term, not a mandatory two.
A second term is earned through performance, not demanded as a birthright.

Leadership is a privilege to serve, not an entitlement.

In Anambra State, the people are hungry for change for some of these reasons.

Chief Dr. George Moghalu's emergence as a strong contender in the upcoming gubernatorial election is a testament to this desire for change.

With a clear vision and a proven track record of excellence in both public and private leadership sectors, Moghalu offers a fresh perspective and a new direction for Anambra State.

Anambrians are yearning for a better leadership.

They deserve a leader who will address their concerns, prioritize their needs, promote economic growth, and protect the vulnerable.

They deserve a leader who is people-oriented, transparent, and committed to progress and development, one who is humble, empathetic, and of strong moral character.

Anambra people do not need a leader who thrives on:

- Empty rhetoric and grandstanding
- Being disconnected from their needs and challenges
- Being unaccountable and prioritizing personal gain over public good

The people need a leader with a human face who combines competence with character, one who lifts others up and inspires them.

They need a leader who is people-centered, transparent, and committed to progress and development.

They need a people's-first governance that doesn't just build structures but builds life and builds the future as well.

A leader with character who walks the talk, who delivers not just results but hope.

Chief Dr. George Moghalu has been a symbol of excellence, tried, tested, and trusted to deliver the needs of the people.

He is the Joshua Anambra needs to take our people to the next level.

Let's give him a chance to make the much-needed difference that the state craves.

PoliticsOnitsha Killings: I Have Suspended My Campaign For One Week_ Chief Moghalu by grassrootsig(op): 8:51pm On Sep 09, 2025
ONITSHA KILLINGS: I HAVE DIRECTED FOR THE SUSPENSION OF MY CAMPAIGN ACTIVITIES FOR ONE WEEK. _CHIEF DR GEORGE MOGHALU.

I received with deep shock and profound sadness the heartbreaking news of the killing of four innocent citizens, including a pregnant woman, at the Onitsha Main Market, Emeka Offor Plaza axis, allegedly by operatives of the government-backed OCHA Brigade.

From Udogachi to Aka Ọdọ, and now Ocha Bridge, Anambra has been witnessing a disturbing pattern of killings and violence. This is no longer governance; this is tragedy. For the past three years, our state has been drowning in negative headlines—killings, bloodshed, kidnapping, and fear everywhere. Our people no longer feel safe going to the market, walking the streets, or even sitting in their own homes. We are now living on a battlefield, where citizens are gunned down not by criminals in the bush, but by those wearing government uniforms. This is not the Anambra of our dreams. How long shall we continue like this? How long shall the lives of our people be wasted by a government that has no compassion, empathy, or conscience? A government that cannot protect its citizens has no moral right to ask for their votes.

I condemn, in the strongest terms, this reckless use of force in collecting levies. Let it be known that under a Labour Party government, such barbarity will never be tolerated. No government agency will bear arms, aside from vigilantes. Security will not mean oppression. Government will not arm thugs in uniforms against its own people. We will value life, protect dignity, and restore peace.

November 8 is the moment of truth. This election is our opportunity to say, “Enough is enough.” Ndi Anambra must make a bold statement with their votes. This government may come again with money to buy votes, but remember—every vote sold becomes tomorrow’s hardship, tears, and blood. We must not allow this cycle to continue.

As a mark of respect and solidarity with the grieving families and Ndi Anambra, I am suspending my community and market campaign tours for one week. This is not a time for politics; it is a time to mourn, reflect, and recommit ourselves to ending this bloodshed.

My heart goes out to the families of the victims. I share in their grief and pray for God’s comfort in this very painful time.

BEYOND PARTY LINES: VOTING FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE, NOT PARTY.

_A Call to Action for Anambra Electorate_

_A call to rise above petty politics with Chief Dr. George Moghalu._

In politics, sentiment, godfatherism, money, and party affiliation often deceive and mislead.

These elements have often led to the election of wrong candidates into office and unfortunately, the people have suffered greatly from the malaise.

Anambraians must buckle up and navigate beyond party and personality politics, embracing the politics of purpose.

A leader who understands that true greatness lies not in personal aggrandisement but in serving the people genuinely.

Anambra State needs a leader who will truly serve its overall interests.

Chief Dr. George Moghalu's leadership is the anchor that will hold Anambra steady, focusing on tangible progress, inclusive governance, and citizens' well-being.

Thanks to his skill, passion, and experience, he embodies the trifecta of governance.

The future of Anambra is in our hands.

Let's put the state first and rise above party lines.

Let's vote for the right leader, not the right party.

Let's support Chief Dr. George Nnadubem Moghalu to build a better Anambra across party lines!
