SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH COMMENCES CONSULTATIVE VISIT TO APC STAKEHOLDERS IN ANAMBRA SOUTH, VISITS CHIEF JOHNBOSCO ANICHEBE (UGA NA UGA) IN UGA

Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, CON, the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District and leading aspirant for the upcoming Anambra State Governorship Election on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, has begun a consultative visit to stakeholders in his senatorial district. He aims to inform them of his intention to contest the party's gubernatorial primary next year.

As part of his efforts to engage with all party stakeholders, Senator Ubah visited Chief Johnbosco Anichebe (Uga na Uga) at his country home in Uga, Aguata Local Government Area, on Friday, July 19, 2024.

During the visit, Senator Ubah appreciated Chief Anichebe, also the coordinator of his campaign in Aguata, for his efforts to strengthen the party in Anambra State. He also officially informed Aguata stakeholders about his intention to contest the next Gubernatorial Primary of the APC.

Senator Ubah, accompanied by key stakeholders of the party in the South-East, pledged to promote the party's ideology and urged Aguata stakeholders to support his aspiration. He also promised not to disappoint the party if elected as its candidate.

Responding, Chief Anichebe appreciated Senator Ubah's contributions to promoting the party's ideology and his patriotism, and blessed his aspiration on behalf of the party's stakeholders in Aguata Local Government Area.

Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, CON, the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District and leading aspirant for the upcoming Anambra State Governorship Election on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, has begun a consultative visit to stakeholders in his senatorial district. During the visit, Senator Ubah appreciated Chief Uzochukwu, also the Deputy Director-General of his campaign in Anambra South and Leader of APC in Orumba South, for his efforts to strengthen the party in Anambra State. He also officially informed Orumba South stakeholders about his intention to contest the next Gubernatorial Primary of the APC.

I WILL NOT BE COWED BECAUSE I WANT APC TO SMILE IN ANAMBRA

For those who truly know me, I am a man of unshakable principles. My integrity is not for sale, and my loyalty to the APC has been unwavering since its inception. I have always stood firm in my beliefs, defending my convictions and my party with unyielding dedication.

From the very formation of APC, I have been a loyal and dedicated member. I have campaigned and voted for APC candidates, regardless of their popularity. My loyalty has often put me in harm's way, but I have never faltered. I have stood with my party, even in the face of defeat.

Since the formation of our party, we have contested three governorship elections in Anambra State and faced defeat each time. I know the bitter taste of electoral defeat and the misery that follows, especially as seen in the faces of our loyal APC members, who toil with pride but fail at the polls.
In one of these contests, I was the deputy governorship candidate. The loneliness of defeat is something I know all too well.

In Anambra State, APC members have been dehumanized, ridiculed, and called all sorts of names for their partisanship. I have stood with them, shared their struggles, and felt our pain. Despite these, we have never wavered in our commitment to our party and our beliefs.

My dedication to APC led me to Nnewi on two occasions, where I was part of APC Anambra State delegations, pleading with a prominent Nnewi politician to join our party. Today, as our great party gains more acceptance in Anambra, many attribute some part of this growing popularity to the influence of that Nnewi politician who has since joined us in APC.

In January 2024, the entire Nnewi 10 ward executives and the Local Government executives of Nnewi North LGA gathered at my home. They compelled me to lead them to the Nnewi-born Senator, mandating him to run for Governor of Anambra State. My home has hosted over 90% of all APC's general meetings in Nnewi North LGA since the party's formation.

I stand with Nnewi North APC and fully support Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's aspiration to be the Governor of Anambra State in 2025, as mandated by Nnewi North Chapter of APC.

I will not be cowed by the continued blackmail from friends who may be erroneously aspiring for the same position.

My commitment remains to devote my time and energy to promoting our great party to the electorate of Anambra, who vote based on zoning as adopted by Anambra stakeholders.

I will continue to subject myself to the leadership of our great party and its manifesto.

I want APC to win in Anambra State so that our dedicated members can finally taste the sweetness of electoral victory and smile with pride.

HONOURING A HERO WHO GAVE HIS LIFE TO PROTECT HIS PEOPLE: REST IN PEACE, GALLANT COMMANDER CHIELOKA UBAJEKWE; YOUR SACRIFICE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

On Friday, July 12, 2024, I attended the funeral of our gallant Vigilante Commander, Mr. Chieloka Ubajekwe, at his country home in Nkpoka Nnewichi Nnewi, in the company of Executive Members of Nnewi Concerned Citizens (NCC) and some stakeholders. During the event, I commiserated with his wife and children and assured them that, with the support of NCC, I would do everything humanly possible to ensure their welfare is properly taken care of.

I also used the opportunity to assure our gallant Vigilante Personnel that their sacrifices and dedication to keeping our community safe will never be forgotten. I promised to continue supporting them in any way I can and to ensure that their efforts are recognized and appreciated.

As we laid Mr. Chieloka, who died while fighting criminals to keep us safe, to rest, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in the unity and strength of ndị Nnewi. It is in times like these that we truly come together to support one another and honour those who have served selflessly.

I urge ndị Nnewi and all members of NCC to continue working together for the betterment of our community and to always remember the sacrifices made by individuals like Mr. Chieloka. Together, we can make Nnewi a safer and more prosperous place for all its residents.

Rest in peace, Commander Chieloka Ubajekwe. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of those you have protected and served.

EXPLORING URBANIZATION AND SECURITY CHALLENGES IN NNEWI: INSIGHTS FROM THE 27TH NNEWI USA 🇺🇸 NATIONAL CONVENTION, ATLANTA 2024

On Saturday, July 6, 2024, I attended the 27th Nnewi USA National Convention in Atlanta, United States, accompanied by my brother, Honourable Dozie Ikedife, who serves as the South-East Zonal Organizing Secretary of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). During my remarks at the event, themed "Urbanization and Security Challenges in Nnewi", I called for a minute of silence to be observed in honour of Mr. Chieloka Ubajekwe and Mr. Azuka Nzewi, who made the ultimate sacrifice in defending the Nnewi community from crime.

I emphasized the importance of strengthening security in Nnewi and other Nigerian urban areas. I also stressed the need for collaboration and unity in building a resilient community that can withstand urbanization pressures and security threats. I took the opportunity to inform the gathering about my efforts to enhance Nnewi's security by deploying CCTV cameras with UHD display technology across strategic locations, creating a secure environment that supports the well-being and prosperity of all Nnewi residents.

I also informed the gathering that beyond the CCTV infrastructure and with the support of Nnewi Concerned Citizens (NCC), I have equipped our local vigilante groups with modern tools and resources to effectively combat crime. From patrol vehicles to other essential equipment, our goal is to enable these dedicated personnel to perform their duties safely and efficiently.

Speaking about the need for sustainable urban development in Nnewi, I stressed the importance of infrastructure development, job creation, and social amenities to improve the quality of life for residents. I also commended the efforts of the Nnewi USA community in promoting unity and development in our hometown, and encouraged continued support for initiatives that benefit our people. I further praised the Nnewi USA community for their commitment to strengthening our security architecture and pledged to continue my efforts to keep our community safe.

In closing, I informed the gathering of my intent to contest for the Governorship of Anambra State in the upcoming Gubernatorial election, and expressed my belief that the people of Nnewi, who have supported others in the past, deserve this opportunity now.

The convention was attended by notable figures, including the Nnewi Crown Prince, Prince Obi Orizu, and other distinguished individuals from our community. This gathering provided a great opportunity to engage with members of the Nnewi diaspora and discuss important issues affecting our community. I look forward to working together to build a safer and more prosperous Nnewi for all its residents.

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's Vision for a Global Igbo Voice in the Media Space

...As a veritable tool for the preservation of igbo values, culture and tradition

The senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, CON, recently organised a media retreat for Youths drawn from the 21 local government areas of Anambra state including members of the Ubahnation Media Centre, media influencers from the APC Anambra, and several other invited youth groups.

The two day event left an indelible memory on the minds of the participants and has continued to reverberate across the state.

It is common knowledge in the state that the distinguished senator has consistently organised seminars and empowerment programmes for the members of his media team at the Ubahnation Media Centre.

But not many are aware that the vision of the idea bearer senator and human capacity builder goes far and beyond Anambra state alone.

The founder of Afa Igbo Efuna movement is quietly going about his mission of establishing a voice for Ndi Igbo in the global media space and like the popular saying, Rome was not built in a day , he has set about this mission by gradually building and mentoring a coterie of young minds on the media space while the 5 story building that is set to house the first digital igbo centric television house from the southeast is presently at the finishing stages.

Senator Dr.Ifeanyi Ubah's mission of setting up a digital TV house that will compete on the international space with the likes of Al-Jazeera, CNN and the rest , whose set objective is to project Igbo culture and tradition to the global stage is gradually becoming a reality and many of these young minds presently undergoing tutelage under his care will serve as pioneers in various capacities when the digital Television gets fully operational.

Senator Dr.Ifeanyi Ubah CON, an Idea bearer and human capacity builder, is on an ambitious mission to establish a robust media presence that showcases Igbo culture, values, and traditions to the world.

This vision aims to create a global platform that amplifies the Igbo voice, challenges stereotypes, and promotes a positive narrative of Ndigbo.

Some key aspects of his vision include:

- Establishing a digital TV house that competes with international media giants like Al-Jazeera and CNN,

- Creating a hub for Igbo-centric content that showcases the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Igbo people from across the globe where they reside,

- Mentoring young minds to become players in the media industry, promoting Igbo excellence and talent.

- Providing a platform for Ndi Igbo to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives, fostering a sense of community and unity by taking the cameras to their various places of residence across the globe and showcasing their events,

- Countering negative stereotypes and misconceptions about the Igbo people, promoting a positive and accurate representation.

The upcoming digital TV house, currently almost completing construction, will serve as a voice and beacon for Igbo excellence in the media space.

Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah's commitment to empowering young minds and promoting Igbo culture is unwavering. His vision has the potential to inspire a new generation of media professionals, challenge prevailing narratives, and foster a stronger sense of Igbo identity and pride.

As the project progresses, its impact will undoubtedly resonate across the globe, by shaping a brighter future for Ndi Igbo and cementing Senator Ubah's legacy as a champion of Igbo excellence.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT --TRUTH AND UNITY OVER POLITICAL MALICE.

I understand that Daniel Ezeigwe has expressed concerns about Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's use of his hard-earned money.

However, I've struggled to understand why it's wrong to use one's resources to support former political appointees who were neglected by the current administration, despite their tireless efforts and dedication.

Even if the funds in question, were constituency's, they were still aimed, not to Sen Ifeanyi Ubah's benefit, but to indirectly stimulate and support various initiatives and projects that benefit the people of Anambra South in particular, and Anambra State in general

It's clearly astonishing that these individuals, who worked without pay, are now being shown appreciation by Sen Ifeanyi Ubah CON, even though he hasn't yet taken office as Governor!

Any right thinking person should know that Sen Ifeanyi Ubah CON, (The Lion of Igbo Nation/ Ikemba Global), should be applauded for such kindness and leadership, rather than being criticized and vilified.

To start with, Sen Ifeanyi Ubah's philanthropic efforts and contributions to our community, predate his political career.

He had long demonstrated his commitment to the people of Anambra and their well-being, before seeking public office, and his actions speak louder than words.

This all-time businessman and entrepreneur, has supported many individuals and projects, earning him a reputation as a true benefactor.

It's only wise to focus on the positive impact that Senator Ubah CON has made in the lives of his constituents, rather than making assumptions and accusations

As much as I'm trying to sound neutral, I still must note that Daniel Ezeigwe's allegations are baseless and driven by political malice.

As a known opposition stooge, one could be desperate to tarnish Sen Ifeanyi Ubah's stellar reputation, but good enough, Ndi Anambra are wise and they already know the truth.

We should emphasize unity and progress of the State, focus on promoting same, rather than spreading negativity and division, or engaging in personal attacks.

We should support leaders who work tirelessly for our benefit, and avoid spreading unfounded accusations.

Whatever happens, in this battle between good and bad, we will never let petty politics and smear campaigns distract us from the progress Senator Ubah CON has brought to our community so far.

The good people of Anambra, stand with Senator Ifeanyi Ubah CON, (The Lion of Igbo Nation/Ikemba Global), and his vision for a better Anambra State.
