I led an Herbalist to Christ today. Praise the Lord.
I didn't even go to him with the intention of evangelizing him. I asked for a rag to clean my shoes, he gave me a rag, as I was cleaning my shoes, he asked me why I was in that area, I told him, he said he could assist me with info. (His words) "But I be Herbalist o". I said really? He said yes. He doesn't look it, but I saw stuff around which indicated he wasn't lying. I then asked him what herbalists actually do. He thought he had seen a client. He gladly was telling me his art. I said OK, do you also cure demo possessed people? He said, "ah ah, dat one na small thing nah", just bring the person, and now now, I go destroy the demon. I said OK, how do you destroy this demons since they are spirit beings? He said by consulting with his Spirits. They will tell him what to do, and now now, he will destroy them.
I said, do you know that demons have names? I asked him if he knew the name of the demons who sexually molest people in their sleep? He said he didn't k of their names.
I started by telling him some names of demons based on what I learned here.
I asked him if he inherited the herbalistic tendencies or he acquired them by himself? He said he inherited them.

I asked him if he knew who Christ is? He said Yes, am a Christian, I go to redeem church.
Do you have a bible? He said yes, Do you read the Bible? He said yes. He said, there are psalms I will give you now, if you fast with them, whatever you ask, you shall receive. I said OK. At that point I brought out my Bible I said show me the psalms, he couldn't I played cool.
I made him feel comfortable in his job.
When he told me that, he expected me to leave immediately, but instead, I sat down in the sun for 2hrs talking to him.
Base on the info I gathered from this thread, I was so bold to talk to this man. He confessed that, no one, male or female has ever had the kind of courage I had to look him in the eyes and tell him, he is worshipping Satan. He said, when he told me he was an Herbalist, he expected me to turn and leave like others. He said everyone who hears he is a Herbalist turns and leaves, but I stayed and shared the word with him.
He was so grateful that I didn't treat him the way others had always done. I told him I was not there on my own, I am an ambassador representing Christ, so I carry the totality of Christ in me.
He asked why I didn't leave, I told him I loved him and won't want him to go to hellfire. He was looking at me like I was some strange lady.
After I opened the Bible to show him what it meant to be what he was, and what the people in the Bible did after they met Christ, after that, he accepted to give his life to christ. I asked him if he will willingly burn up his herbalistic items, he said yes. Well, I didn't stay to see him do that, I had to leave.
I took him through the Sinners prayer, and prayed for him afterwards.
I leave far away from that area so following him up personally Will be a challenge for me. I directed him to a church close by, but he told me he has an Aunt who is afraid of coming close to him because of who he is, (he said, if you just mention my name, my sister will tell you to go far from me, because am a herbalist), but that she worships with Winners Chapel , and base on what he has seen from her, he will want to follow her to Winners Chapel. I said OK, I took the lady's number, to call and make sure she tries to follow him up. I will too.

well the first stage is counseling and the individual has to be very open and sincere. From the counseling, you will be able to discern if the cause of the problem is from a demonic source and what the demon is holding on to (mayb a family covenant, a way of life e.tc). Just like Jesus did, you should ask wen d problem started and how often d person gets attacked. During counseling you will also open the scriptures to show d individual d finished work of Christ concerning his/her deliverance and make them realize that the devil has been cheating them ignorantly, that its totally the will of God for them to be free. As soon as d individual desires deliverance, he/she is several steps ahead already.
Deliverance is not a ministry limited to few individuals, as soon as you are actively serving the Lord, you will be confronted with cases and you may have to step in immediately. Sometimes even in a prayer meeting the Holy Spirit will make ppl demonize to manifest it. I remember one day back on campus wen the Holy Spirit asked me during a prayer meeting to request that those who needed to be baptized in the Holy Spirit step forward. Ppl did and almost immediately two sisters began to manifest evidence of demonization (its different from being slay in d spirit because it brings torment to d individual). My spiritual understanding at that time was still very shallow so some sisters took dem out and i went there to minister to dem but it was a very exhausting task because i never counseled, never sort to know if dey wanted to be free. I stayed there and devil was entertaining and deceiving me. It was getting late nd i had to go back home. I just used faith to cover up on my failure but deep within me i knew those sisters weren't free yet, i left depressed.
For you b effective in the ministration of deliverance, you need to go tru d tutoring of the Holy Spirit on d subject matter. Wat i first did was to take my Bible and read tru the gospels i.e matt-john and I used a red marker on every part dat tells about Jesus encounter with evil spirits (actually mark gospel contained most of it and John gospel contains less or even non cos John focused more on Jesus personality dan was he was doing). Remember that as you read this and understand due to the teachings of the Holy Spirit, wen u r confronted with situations where you need to step in, the Holy Spirit will give you counsel on what to do based on wat He taught you.

2. Demons, Angels and Children

I was barely 6 years old and with my family lived in a sub-rural community near Lagos. Like other children then, we normally stay outside our veranda after supper to tell all manner of fables. This particular night I fell asleep and was left outside while other children departed to their respective houses (my Mum having carried me inside earlier, thought I was on the mat with my siblings in our inner room, unknown to her, I stood up when she left me on the mat to re-join my play group outside)

Around 1 am, something woke me up from where I was sleeping alone outside, about 30 feet from me was a Being clothed in a ash apparel, the Being has the caricature of a young lady but the face or where there suppose to be her face was deep darkness, although there was reflection from the electric bulbs, her face remained un-illuminated. Her movement wasnt like of human, although the ash cloth covered what should be her feet also, she wasnt moving like humans. She was floating and moving towards where I laid like she was propelled by the wind.

In seconds, she was right where I was; totally paralyzed with fear. She looked down at me for a few seconds, then suddenly she turned sharply making an hissing sound and departed. It was seconds after she left did I regain the use of my body and I jumped up screaming for my mama.

The second day, I was heavy and couldnt attend school for days. My Mum in her fear invited a marabout who made all manner of incisions on me, I got better after about a week but as you can imagine, the experience never left me.

The strongest spiritual battles are the ones that gained access into our lives as child and they can be very difficult to discern. Most demons grew and develop strength even as the child and have blended into the fabric of the child's character to such an extent, when the demons manifest (and they do manifest) people generally attribute it to the personality of the child.

The Child cant understand why he or she kept committing the same offence, He/She genuinely wants the affection of his/her parents but cant just stop behaving badly;hurting them.

Brothers and sisters here, i have been thinking about this and i have prayed against it but i need to hear your view. It something that reads a meaning
just yday morning, i drmt that my mum called on me to remove something from her left eye, that she cant see clearly, then i took NEEDLE PIN, i opened the eye, i saw a black spot under d iris(the round black ball), half of the iris was whitish and dirty spotted, it was suppose to be fully black as normal, when i saw it i couldnt do anything, i immediately felt bad, using needle pin will worsen d eye d more. Then i woke up

am still wondering why it was needle i decided to use and what d drm might mean, is it a warning sign.

Nice and good. Prophet samuel is a true prophet of God. if we can weigh him on the spiritual scale, he may be operating on a certain height of spirituality. The height of spirituality of a man determines his spiritual authority over demons and satan(our Lord Jesus as example).
That you are a pastor or a bishop or prophet does not described that such one is spiritual(having spiritual authority over demons) more than the members of his church.
That prophet samuel is a true prophet does not mean that there is not other people serving God faithfully in israel as that time(except the bible mention so, i never see it in book of samuel).

The Greek word translated "fellowship or communion " as you'll find in the above prayer also means Transportation. And that is what Philip experienced in the example you gave.

And the Holy ghost can go to war all by Himself (not necessarily with our spirits). What do you think happens when a juju priest summons the spirit of a Spirit-filled Christian? The Holy Ghost will appear there and there will be trouble because

He may choose to appear in dreams in the form of a brother or sister in Christ or someone you have high regard for in the Lord so as to get your attention. He doesn't always appear in His glory.

That is not to say that any such manifestation is of God. Afteral, the false christ Olumba Obu was said to appear to many in the same manner. Also, there is the danger of making this a major teaching or doctrine in church whereby the members are encouraged to expect the pastor's visit at night. That is so wrong...the Holy spirit does so as He wills.

Everything should be judged in the light of God's Word.

I have several of such testimonies. A brother once told me I used to wake him up sometimes to pray at night and for morning prayers.

A sister once told me I prayed for her the previous night in her dream and she woke up to discover the pain she had in her body was gone.

A few times, I realize I was praying for the person at the time of the occurence, at other times, I was fast asleep.

As for the intercessory ministry of the Holy Ghost, I will discuss later as the Lord wills how Romans 8:26 is a very important passage of scripture.

I believe believers could be transported both in the Spirit and even literally (in the physical as it was the case of Philip in the new testament) for a divine mission or revelation as adjudged necessary by God. Concerning using them to wage war, I haven't experienced such and don't see any scriptural backup for that phenomenon.


Well, there are certain issues we can't just finalize based on our own experiences. There are certain spiritual stuffs that happen and we are just left in awe... That doesn't mean we accept every spiritual experiences hook line and sinker without ensuring they align with the Word. The Word of God is the standard via which we make sound judgement and discern things that are of God. Apart from this, the Spirit of God is also available to make us KNOW and DISCERN what is of God... The Spirit and the Word are ONE.

Biblically, I don't have proofs to back up claims that the Spirit of God's servant can be transported to wage war on behalf of others. No, I don't. Nevertheless, we know in part and we prophesy in part. If anyone has a genuine experience along this line, let them share with us o. I don't want to make my conclusions now.

I wish to invite us to discuss the agency of human spirits in deliverance. Are they a genuine experience or demonic?
Without naming names, I have heard of ministries with notoriety of testimonies of many of how their MoG appeared to the in their dream and delivered them from sicknesses, oppression and so forth.

There is a story I have heard of an evangelist/missionary who came to Africa who fell into trouble and was almost dying. In a trance he saw 7 men come and deliver him. When he went back home, his church members told him how one day one of them had a burden for him and he led 6 others into some passionate prayers for him. The missionary enquirer when this was and the date was exactly when he was in trouble. Moral of the story I think is to excite us into untercessory and that God can and does use human spirits as tools of deliverance.

And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. 10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them

This verse among others is frequently quoted to support this belief.

There was a time I had a dream about my spiritual authority. In those days I used to compile mp3 music and share them for free.

In the dream I had visited his house and we were listening to one of the MP3 cd in his stereo. He began to take me through the church financial statements and he was sad. There were huge funding deficits. I recall the financials were drafted in pencil. I comforted him and assured him we (with emphasis on myself) would take care of it.

In reality the church has a mortgage loan and the loan has been a thorn in the flesh; it gobbles most of the collections and we have fallen behind severally.

This is the closest I have interacted with a minister in a dream. Am wondering whether God indeed uses men IN DREAMS to procure deliverance. Please note, I don't mean dreams which signify deliverance like for instance dreaming praying for somebody and then waking up to pray, I mean ACTUAL miracles wrought through dreams.

I need help...

I'm struggling to get my zeal for the things of God back.
It's something I had before, but I have allowed it to be choked out by all sorts of sins and distractions....It's hard.
It's like when I even try to pray, I feel like I'm wasting my time and there are better things I should be doing....even though for real I know this is a lie from hell to keep me even weaker.

When I want to do certain things, I psyche my head up to do this or change that...but none of all that psyching translates to me actually/physically doing anything. Static. Stagnant. It's like there is a disconnect from my mind and body when it comes time to do things to move my life forward in a meaningful way.

But perhaps the most scariest of this all is that for the past 6 months now, I see the numbers 666 A LOT. It used to sparingly happen, but it happens quite frequently. Usually when i am on any computer or device.

e.g. When Playing a game, I'd have my character attack something and the damage it will do is 666hp damage. I play a different game, maybe a fighting game, and 4/10 times I win the matches when the clock timer reaches 66 seconds (i.e. counting down from 99 seconds).
As a programmer, I'm generating random numbers during work and all of a sudden....yup....666 shows up.

And guess what, all these examples above all happened within a single week. That's how frequent it has now become.

When all this started, I was freaked out. Now I'm getting used to it, but I know what that means and I don't want to "normalize" this. Because then that will be a case of "He has eyes but he does not see".
I have asked God for help. I feel so lost. I just need help...

Dream is a way God has been speaking to mankind right from Time immemorial. Both unbelievers and Children of God are capable of getting genuine encounters in dreams d only difference is that a believer gets the interpretation by virtue of the Holy Spirit in them why d unbelievers are left to marvel. As can b seen in d cases of pharoah, nebuchadnezar. Daniel and Joseph alone had the interpretations of dreams.
1 am currently engaged to a dreamer and I am left to wonder how detailed and accurate her dreams can be. I was about entering a relationship with another lady before I met her so i hid it from her. One day wen I felt like telling her about it, she asked me to hold on, told me d lady's name. I was shocked. I inquired about how she found out she told me that the Lord showed her in a dream. I didn't really take note of dat. Den she called me and told me something dat was gonna happen very soon., because it was a negative thing i rebuked her. She said she saw it in a dream for three consecutive days i rejected it but it happened before my eyes d next day.
Our God is great.

Another spirit walking in her not the Spirit of God. Not everything God has chance to do(Has some important things to do....SALVATION) .
