To me they are not practicing it the right way. There is a God and to follow him you must experience him personaly. Every great men and women of the book encountered him. So yes the christians and co worship the creator in their minds but they ignore the importance of knowing him personaly. If a diety chooses a man such a man needs no book to learn how to serve and please his God. God will reveal his will as at when due and tell what must be done and how as at when due.
BTW I am still hoping to get to know the creator of the universe personaly. That is my wish. For now I have no religion. I am an open slate. I am also a humble learner.

The bible has examples of people who asked to see proof before they believed. Even the apostles didn't just leave their homes after reading a book. There were demonstrations, like a magic show. That's how Jesus proved himself, that's how Elijah proved Yahweh. That's how the three Hebrew boys proved Yahweh. Even Jesus had to appear and slap Thomas in person before the man believed, and they were FRIENDS!!!! Basically, there was always a [size=18pt]MAGIC[/size] show.

David did not ascend there.....understand me.
That i said that david went to heaven......his name was in the list of the people that will ascend. And nothing will stop him from ascending.....he fulfiled the principle that will take him to heaven.
Presently, david with all the old testament and new testament saints are in Abraham bosom waiting for rapture......so they made heaven(understand that).

Read bible in context for a better understanding. Stop picking verses to interprets.
29 only talks about david death. It is a separate verse from other verse like 30, 31, 32, 33 and 34.
........30 talks about when he was alive, he receive the promise of enthronement of his seed. Dead man cannot be promised something. Is only a living man.
31 talks about how he forsee the resurrection of christ. Dead man cannot see a future event. It is only the living can do that.
32 talks of Christ and His resurrection not david.
33 christ and His sitting on the right hand of God.
34 talks about the revelation which david have concerning christ. He is still alive when receive it.
Soo david is alive when he receive the revelation. I have given you other verse as reference. David is on earth when he receive it.

The verse you gave on book of Act 2: 34.
David did no ascend into heavens. The Author of Act is the one that said it. Check the original saying you cant find it there (psalm 110:1).
The author said that david did not ascend into heavens to receive the revelation but he is here on earth in spirit at the time of the Revelation'' The Lord said to my Lord, sit thou on my right hand until i make your enemy your footstool ''.
Also read matthew 22:43 and 44.
So he is on a mortal body when he receive the revelation. That verse did not say about anything death or departure of david. So that is a revelation he receive here on earth as he is in spirit.
David name is on the list of men that make heaven. Read hebrew 11: 32

Two and Seven. This is not the Great commission or the gospel. We are to preach the truth to them that were lost for their recovery
