Programming / Re: Please Recommend Good Django Tutorial by greatface(m): 10:05pm On Nov 18, 2017

Hmm, version problem.
In that case, the best tuts should be the Django documentation.
What examples were you unable to link?

But version 1.4, that's too far.
Check this https://pythonprogramming.net/django-web-development-with-python-intro/
The first series showed which files to edit and also shows the directory structure of the file but other docs that focus on specific feature or module like 'model' don't give reference to such. Am trying to wrap myself around the concept and hopefully, it will soon fall in place.

That tutorial looks promising and inviting. Do you know if there is any other downloadable version except the youtube videos.
The books sits well with me these days than the videos.

Thanks So Much For Your Time.

Programming / Please Recommend Good Django Tutorial by greatface(m): 9:03pm On Nov 18, 2017
Please I need recommendation on good Django tutorial. I already have many enough in my possession but the problem is that they are not updated to work with recent versions of django.

I wouldn't want to down-grade my version of Django. I have found the tutorials using 'python manage.py syncdb' which is not recognized but 'migrate' works.

I also have the official django html docs which is good but after the basic tutorials 1-7, I was unable to link the examples to the proper filenames and directories to make it work.

All other tutorials with me uses python versions <= 2.5 and django versions <= 1.4

Helps much needed urgently.

stop your propaganda Okorocha is still love by Imo traders and keke riders, come let me take you to the new Eke ukwu market at Naze road, you will use style and ask them about Okorocha and see the reply the will give to you,I did it last week.don't just come here and write on your own perspectives.
What is the percentage of Eke Ukwu compared to the general population of Imo state.

By the way, I doubt your unverified assertions. You must also know that no matter how bad someone leads or rules, they are people who benefits from his administration and will therefore not talk ill of him especially in public.
Buhari and Hitler comes to mind.

Okorocha the statue maker..

If my dumb comment doesn't sit with you, why not move away instead of been dumb yourself by quoting a dumb comment...

Is not a most for you to vote sit @ the comfort of your home while others do what they feel is right for them to do...

Let the police shot anyone who tries to disrupt the election...
I felt the need to call you to order. even though I have no right to force that on you, I still believe it is no crime suggesting.

My concern also is; what if the Police starts shooting harmless civilians like they occasionally do?

26000 police officers for anambra elections just cuz of a leaderless, inexistent ipob? Are they going for war? Little wonder they were crowned the most useless police force in the world.
Tell Them.

It is only Nigeria that deploys her army to fight internal crisis and agitators which is basically the work of the police. Worst still sending them armed with fighter jets, APCs, (sub)machine guns, etc.

But even more alarming is the praises they receive from some of their gullible supporters.

Sorry Nigeria...

With those things listed above, won't it even scare people from coming to vote or voting confidently.

On a more serious note, why are security men of this country denied the right to vote

OP, I understand why you pity her but it is not entirely impossible for her to fake such. I would have pity on her if I am to be you so believe me when I say I do understand.

I got a bike for a good friend not so long ago, he is to be paying back little by little. He paid N3000 the first week and failed to make any further payment for the next year and close to 3yrs now.

I later understood which he confirmed that he was making payments for new bike without my notice. The deal went bad and the guy flee with his money. That was when he came to me for help but I won't be so stupid to offer him such.

He would later come to explain and ask for forgiveness but I already forgave before he asked.

Am today doing better than him even when he didn't pay back. Reason being that you can't intentionally part with my sweat and turn to excel better than me.

In conclusion, reach deal with her and fulfil your part.

Amen to that.

Yes I used lobbying to mean he has to keep his reputation and contracts going smothly else once terminated, he becomes irrelivant. Ibeto Group could be a good example.

But those politicians may have a different fate. IBB as an example.

I doubt any of their wealth can sustain constant power supply for a country like Nigeria for even 5 years(including Dangote).
But hopefully the country grows better.
I doubt Dangote will make it to first 10 richest if our politicians assets and bank+cash balance are correctly calculated. Can you guess why he lobbies around every new ruling government?

I Do Hope We Grow Better.

Lol, na wa o.
But i think at the moment we don't have the resources for constant power supply.
To me I believe it won't cost any of our former presidents or heads of state an average rich man life to give Nigerians constant power.

But who could be so willing to enrich lives as much?

So even if the corrupt leaders are out of the way, you still wouldn't bet 24/7 electricity?

Why?
Yes.

Because of the citizen's orientation. In Nigeria, your yard mate can secretly damage power installation simply because you are watching dstv while he can't afford ordinary manual TV stand antena or because you have deep freezer while he can't afford #1500 electric iron
Science/Technology / Re: Why Exactly Is There No Power In Nigeria? by greatface(m): 12:54pm On Nov 08, 2017
LordeCalifornia:

Interesting. So you believe that constant power is presently achievable, only that some people do not want to see it come to reality.
Okay, nice.
While I may not bet on 24/7 supply I will easily stake on 15-20/7 nation wide supply putting a lot of factors into consideration.

I sincerely believe Nigeria has what it takes to be the Dubai of Africa.
