Ibime: Mukina is running that one but I don't think you'll make FA Cup with no record as there are only 20 places and many confirmed men hustling for spot. You might make Carling Cup
okay. So, I can mention mukina for carling Cup code?
HewlettPackard: As much as a large number of us would blame our defense for our woos this season, I maintain my stand at the beginning of the season that Lampard doesn't know how to set up a team to be defensively compact.
I have been saying this ever since.
It is not bad for him to have that weakness, though. He can always get someone that can help in that regard.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
The Hazard of yesterday still looked too chunky and lacking sharpness.
I don't think he will have the mental energy to use the next 4 weeks to get in shape at the end of a 13 month season where players are mentally exhausted and need to take a break.
His decision to enjoy without self control last summer has spiralled into something else. It is now affecting his mental state cos he doesn't look confident on the pitch at all. The fans don't respect him, his teammates don't respect him and won't give him the ball (how can they respect a player who turns up to Madrid fat as if their club is play play). He's now lost confidence to ask for the ball. Now next season is imminently upon us and he is still not in any shape for it.
This is how one bad set of decisions you make can continue to affect your life for a long time. Hazard gluttony of just 6 weeks last summer may have ruined his career and legacy. It is a good life lesson to always be prepared when going into something new.
Honestly, the guy Bleep up. His mistake is actually a good lesson.
Leyqute: There was an instant in the first half where Hazard had the ball and was holding on to it, waiting for someone to make a run.
Benzema read his mind and started the run.
Hazard waited for about 2 seconds until Benzema’s run looked like it could trouble City’s defenders.
Then baba thought, “alaye jo jo, I haven’t danced my shakushaku yet”, then turned around, passed the ball backwards and ran to the wing so that he can receive the ball again and dance proper.
Olodo oshi.
lol. I watched the last minutes of the first half.
Lol. Hazard cast a frustrated figure tonight. I mean, nigga was playing like someone who does not know his position on the pitch. And it looks like the Madrid players don't trust him enough to pass the ball to him.
simonjassy: what Did They Play In The First Leg,that Ramos Organized The Defence.Honestly Man City did not utilize their chances very well in both legs, else we won't be hearing this "crap".
courtious actually kept them in the game today.
Zidane wey dey play pattern less and style less football. Benitez 2.0
airmark: Former Blues star Leboeuf told ESPN FC on the challenge facing Lampard: “[He needs to improve] all of them. That’s the problem.
“The goalkeeper is a big issue, but you have to go to the main [issue]. If you’re looking at the main issue, it’s the central defenders.
“[Kurt] Zouma is doing great, but I’m not confident about [Antonio] Rudiger, I’m not confident about [Andreas] Christensen. I don’t know what will happen with [Fikayo] Tomori, but I think they need a big guy.
“You saw what happened with Liverpool when they got Van Dijk,he changed everything. Even Lovren and Gomez looked better alongside him..
“You need a big guy to make sure he’ll lead the defence. Look at Ramos. [Raphael] Varane is a fantastic player, but is he still the fantastic player when he plays for France as when he plays for Madrid with Sergio Ramos? He’s better with Real Madrid.
“They need a big guy in the centre of defence, yeah.”
Greatihex, you see another expert view on Rudiger here? No need having 5 CBs in the team, keeping everyone, after we sign a better one. Rudiger is 27, we should cash out on him now, Man utd need a kponkpon CB.
Make I rest nah, abeg.
Rudiger has given us a good season before and was our best CB that season.
Tomori can go on loan and come back.
In all, we are not in charge of recruitment. Anything the club feels is best for them, they should do it.
We shouted everywhere for Willian to be sold yet they didn't do that, so whatever you say does n matter.
airmark: You opined that we should leave our central defence as it is, that no need for replacement or addition. So who is supposed to be the leader among our central defenders?
I have stated it here before that we are lacking in leadership at the back and that is what we should be looking for by getting one experienced CB with great leadership skill while keeping all our CBs. We don't need to replace anybody.
But a good percentage of our defensive woes this season can fixed this season with a good setup first and foremost, a better goalkeeper.
What it means is that Lampard and his crew would have done better for our defence than what they did. I'm certain of that.
airmark: Greatihex, please find time to watch this analysis and mirror it with what i told you about fixing our central defence with quality replacements.
Watch Ferdinand's submission from 1:23 - 1:46.
Also watch what he said about not having a leader in our defence in 3:16 - 4:55
I have already said it before that we need a leader at the back since Rudiger who is supposed to do that is lacking that skill. We can get a CB or maybe even a goalkeeper with such skill. But I still insist that, if our defenders who knew how not to make some simple mistakes before will all of a sudden become very bad, then something is wrong somewhere that is not entirely the fault of the players. Four CBs becoming bad all at once, I no gree.
Courtious used to be lazy when he was with us and performing badly. But all of a sudden he goes to Madrid and he is no longer lazy. Something happened. Remember that he used to complain about the goalkeeper coach.
Look at Kepa. We know that Kepa has shot arms and lack awareness, but he has never been this bad before. Something is wrong somewhere.
I have never said that our CBs are the best in the world, but I'm certain that the can't be worse than cahill and Luiz on the latter's bad days, and they can also be as good as those guys on their good days, and we won major trophies with those guys. Ucl, epl, name it.
What Chelsea need is not a complete overhaul of CBs like you guys are advocating, but the addition of a great leader figure with experience to and a good defensive setup and a good instructor.
