Science/TechnologyRe: My Solar Light Is Flickering by greatmarshall(m): 3:30pm On Oct 21, 2025
JustSayHello:
Yesterday, I plugged my fridge when phcn restored light. When they took it off, I mistakenly forgot I had my fridge still connected.

Immediately I connected the switch over to Solar, the inverter started making a sharp dotted noise. I ran and disconnected the fridge.

Later this morning, I noticed the light from my bulb was blinking or flickering at intervals.

Please what can I do to rectify the flickering issue?
I don't know if it's the battery causing the flickering or the inverter.
What should I do 😔
That inverter needs a doggy to perform well

BusinessThe Exploitation Of Loan Sharks Must End! by greatmarshall(op): 10:03am On Aug 07, 2025
OPEN LETTER: The Exploitation of Nigerians by Loan Sharks Must End

Dear Fellow Nigerians,
Dear Central Bank of Nigeria,
Dear Federal Government,

In a nation already weighed down by economic hardship, inflation, unemployment, and an overstretched cost of living, a new and deeply troubling predator has taken root — loan sharks. These faceless digital lenders, often operating under innocent-sounding names like SokoLoan, GoCash, LCredit, EasyMoni, 9jaCash, KashKash, and many others, have become wolves in sheep’s clothing.

While they advertise quick loans without collateral — an appealing offer to struggling citizens — what lies beneath is financial ambush.

These digital lenders charge outrageously exploitative interest rates, often between 20% to 50% per week or within 7 to 14 days. That translates to annualized interest rates of well over 1,000%. No economy in the world sustains that — and no honest citizen can.

For example, someone borrowing ₦20,000 may be expected to repay over ₦26,000 in just 7 days. And when the borrower — as is often the case in Nigeria's harsh financial terrain — cannot meet that deadline, the harassment begins.

The harassment is inhuman, degrading, and criminal.
Loan sharks have been known to:

Send defamatory messages to defaulters’ contacts — falsely branding them as criminals or wanted persons.

Share private data in direct violation of data privacy laws.

Threaten, abuse, and blackmail borrowers, even over insignificant amounts.

Hound borrowers daily with calls from random numbers, including their workplaces and religious centers.

These tactics are not just unethical — they are illegal.

This is a call to action to the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), and law enforcement agencies to:

1. Investigate and prosecute illegal loan apps and their promoters.

2. Enforce strict regulation on digital lending practices, including capping interest rates.

3. Mandate proper licensing and background checks for fintech lenders.

4. Protect citizens' data from abuse and unauthorized access.

5. Create awareness about safer, government-backed microcredit options.

The average Nigerian deserves dignity — not digital extortion.

Let us not allow desperation to become a death sentence. Let us not allow faceless fintech predators to prey on our people unchecked. Let us rise to say enough is enough.

Nigeria must be a place where seeking help doesn’t mean signing your soul away.

Signed,
A Concerned Nigerian Citizen

Forex is what i do for a living and nothing else, i trade prop firms and i currently have two $200k live accounts and working on the third one... So i know what i am talking about

And those with some knowledge failed to work on the psychological part..
If you're making 10$ on a 200$ account everyday for a month(which is possible)..
Is that not 300$ almost 215k..

which professional milk the market, you are joking....no matter how professional you are in forex you can loose your capital
Losing your capital is when you don't have the right knowledge and some people with the right knowledge don't apply good risk management, they want to double their money in one day...

Say no to Bet9ja

Say no to gamble

Say no to forex

Say no to crypto trading

Say no to all those online businesses which have never yielded any result apart from great loss

Use your money for physical business even it's #500 daily profits, you can keep ploughing back profits and someday, your capital will double.

Say no to friends who always want to take from you and never give to you

Say no to multi-relationships if you must be in a relationship.

Crypto trading and Bet9ja wallop more than #2m from me last year and even previous.

Happy New year and New month
many people think forex is gambling, if so, why are the professionals milking the market consistently? The truth is, alot of us don't seek knowledge before going into any venture and that's the big problem!
