Please, you should also endeavour to lecture your kids about their body parts.Tell them that no one should touch their private part, and if any one should tamper with it, they should report to you immediately.
At 3 years, she supposed to know that already.
My daughter of 2 and 7months knows this already.
Every day when bathing her I remind her how precious that place is, and no body is permitted to touch d place.
Two days ago, she came to me and told me that M has touched her in her pp. M is my help, a female. I asked her when, she said, when she was bathing her. I told her that M was trying to wash the place clean and still encourage her to tell me if any body touches her.

The world is evil.Raising children now in this wicked world is not easy.
May our children b protected even when we are not with them Amen.

From 16 months, bath/brush time becomes a sing and demonstrate session. Play all the teethbrushing videos you can find before bathtime and then during bath time, start sing song, demonstrate the spitting and all.

Will this journey ever end!

I am still struggling with my 2+ DD to spit out during brushing.Sometimes she will obey, most times,she will purposely swallow d stuf.
One day,I forgot to remove the paste after their morning brushing. My daughter in the company of his brother licked almost d whole paste,as in like sweet. I don't even know what to do with them. Angry that they wasted my money and angry that they swallowed paste.
My dear d journey continues...

Biko I have a question. How possible is it that all through my pregnancy I have only gained 3kg and yet at 36 weeks scan says baby is weighing 3.1kg?

I have been starving since last night cos I don't want this baby to be too big. My sister has already suggested I start taking lipton.

Hmm...Na wah o. And there I was thinking baby won't be big since I keep losing weight and adding not more than 3kg maximum.
Please, is there anyone here that was told that her baby weighed up to 3kg at 36 weeks and still went on to have 3.5kg baby? I don't want to exceed 3.5kg. What do I do please?

First pls don't take Lipton, my gynea advised against that.
Yes I was told baby weighed 3.1kg at 36weeks and some days but I ended with 3.5kg baby.

I introduced cereal after 6 months.i started him on single grain,e.g cerelac rice,frisogold rice, nutribom rice,Gerber rice.etc
Presently,I feed him almost everything I eat well mashed in small quantities coupled with his cereals.
I feed him frisogold rice cereal, sometimes Gerber oat. I tried nutribom multigrain of recent, but noticed that he doesn't really like it.
He also enjoys pap.
There are lots of cereal out there, just look for the one that works for her sha.

Hello mums. My 9 month old baby suddenly does not like taking her formula. She struggles to finish 120 or 150 mls. We started on Nan, then changed to SMA but she still will just play with it. She's not a particularly good eater with cereals and other meals. Any ideas on getting her to drink milk will be appreciated. Many thanks!

My 9 months doesn't even drink formula at all.In fact he doesn't feed from the bottle . So I mix d formula with his cereals. He is still on breast milk.
Try to mix with her cereals, you might increase the quantity.

Am so angry now typing this because,d same thing happened to me just recently. My son just recovered from the hands of my over zealous in law.

Since I stopped ebf for my son when he clocked 6 months.My in law will not stop bordering me to introduce adult food to him.I replied that I introduce foods to my kids gradually, not a sudden process.
Just last week,my son started purging and vomitting.
I was so confused what might have triggered d whole thing.
We went to hospital, he was given loads of drugs,yet d thing continued.My baby was just loosing weight.
My house help now informed me that my in law normally takes him inside the room anytime he is eating his concoction and feeds him with that rubbish.
I was angry. I warned my girl that nobody should carry my baby again only her,in my absence.

How can someone be feeding someone's baby without taking permission from the mother.How sterilised are d cutlery used and how hygienic is the stuff you are feeding the baby.
May God help someone from all these overzealous in laws.
Sorry for my rants bikonu.
I was so pained.

I don't think there is any course to worry.
It will adjust fully after some time.
You are just 3months postpartum.

Please ooo, my DS will be 7 months on d 19 of September and I noticed ever since we started solids, he takes little cereals and that's all ,he doesn't finish 50 mls....is it normal? He sucks breast more like say tomorrow no dey.he's tummy becomes big like he's full. We did EBF. He's weighted 9kg at 6months.

Please, I just want to know if my son is not being under fed.

His weight at 6 months is great.
He is not underfed. He is still enjoying d breast.
My baby of 8 months did exactly like dat. After d exclusive breastfeeding,he still sucks so much and takes cereal a little.
What I did,I reduced the frequency and time for breast milk.I feed him his cereal first before breastfeeding.
I noticed that after taking the cereal,he won't demand for breast or suck for too long again because he is already full.
At 8months now,he can consume almost 3 bowls of cereal and top it up with breast milk.
He will adjust with time if he is the foody type.

Exactly wack .I weaned my baby with Nan after 6months ebf. I bought d one made in France #2,450.
When dat one finished,I went back to the super market and was only seeing diz present ones.I checked more than 4 big supermarket in my area,same thing.I use fear and switched to sma gold, but my baby rejected sma. I decided to try d new packaged Nan, and he enjoyed it.
But i noticed that it is smaller in content and d price is #2,250.

I am not using Lactogen now but Nan, but I have used Lactogen before.I guess d one in the market now is from another country.Likewise Nan, the one in the market now is mostly from Mexico . Before d one I do buy is from France.
The packaging are different and even their prices.
It is not fake.
