Pls I have a question... is it normal for a 4months 2weeks baby to not be independently sitting on his own? It's becoming frustrating.
I put my baby boy to sit, whenever I do so I'll always have to support him else he'll fall. If he sits for like 5mins he'll starts crying..
I started putting him to sit before he was 3months, now he is 4months plus but he hasn't gotten that full posture. I've seen other babies his stage already sitting and it got me worried, that's why I'm here.

Pls is it normal or when is the appropriate time for babies to sit up on their own or he hasn't reached that milestone?

Mamas pls help before I lose my mind.

Please don't loose your mind.Is like your baby am mine are birthday mate.My baby is yet to sit also unassisted and am not bothered a bit.He will when he is ready.From my past experience with my children.
Please stop looking at other children, you will get your self worked up for nothing.
Unless your mother's instinct is telling you that something is wrong,then you can check with your doc.

Biko is it that when kids start crawling they no longer sleep on time? I can't remember the last time I slept early because my madam likes playing at night. She will almost crawl out of the bed. Now she has finally turned mountain climber AKA George of the jungle .

Please when will this stage pass so I can start sleeping early mbok

From this stage to another stage.None of the stages are easy my dear.But before you know it,she will be all grown.So enjoy every stage with her,dey grow too fast.

Ever since I registered for antenatal at 4 weeks plus at UPTH, I have not seen a doctor since. Which kind thing be this?

Please mamas what do you suggest I do? i have not taken any TT injection since this pregnancy. I am going to be leaving first trimester by next week.

Now that powders are no longer being used.
What can one use on lo's bumbum before wearing them diapers to prevent nappy rash.

I use coconut oil.You can use blue seal vaseline, Shea butter etc.

I saw myself in your shoes after d delivery of my baby but i stood my ground,I told my dh,I know that you love me but i love my self more.I will not make dat costly mistake again (unplanned pregnancy).I want to be alive to take care of my children.

Sorry for my ranting, just angry with some of the things women have to go tru in order to please our society.

So I went with my girl to my HM's office. After I finished what took me there, she asked me to leave my girl with her and she'd bring her to me when she starts crying. I said ok and left, but couldn't stop looking over my shoulders expecting her secretary to run after me with her. I was surprised cos sometimes my girl doesn't like others carrying her.

Here I am wondering if she's OK (HM is a nice mother tho), since I've only ever left her with her dad and no one else. I hope it's not separation anxiety I'm feeling sha

It also happens to me.Whenevr am inside the church and some one holds my baby,dats how my eyes will be fixed on that person till my baby is returned to me.

@rezzy, please am so concerned, about your son.Pls take him to see a pediatrician, those specialized in nutrition.His weight at his age is a thing of concern.
I don't want to scare you but malnutrition in toddlers is not to be played with.
God will guide you.

Hello everyone . e haff tay small. Greetings from d oda side. In other words my boy is a year today and im not impressed with his weight. We normally carry egg. Pap. Nutrilac to creche. Can't put food there cos I'm scared of choking. Though he eats swallow at home when I'm back from work. My question is this. For ppl who use packaged food like August secrets or babygrubz wich can I buy to add to the food he eats at creche and will make him "fat" a bit. I read one mama recommend pediasure drink. But no one sells it where I'm based. Is there any oda recommendations. I'm open to suggestions

Hello ma, if your baby's weight has tripled from his birth weight,den he is not underweight.For e.g,if his birth weight is 3kg,at 6 months he supposed to double it,den by 1 year,he supposed to be thrice d birth weight which is 9kg.

So check your baby's birth weight and do the maths.
Pediature drink is mostly sold in all these big pharma dat has grocery section.
You can also try some food supplements like reload, wellkid etc.
Increase d number of times he feeds.Try to make his meal as balanced as possible.

Note:I have tried the above with my daughter dat looks so slim.D result I got is increased appetite and increased poo poo,�.She still looks slim but very healthy and smart.
I have stopped bordering myself.

On another note,if actually you want to space your child,abeg go for better family planning method.Pls forget condom, withdrawal method.They are not reliable at all.

Chai mother hood is divine.@spiceeamie,anugod and other mama's, you are very much ok to express such fears.Giving birth weda virginal or c section is not easy, coupled with the journey of 9months dat is filled with a lot of intrigues---from morning sickness to what have you.

The good news is that,it is doable.Try to look at the brighter side of it, like seeing your kids grow and so on and tell your self, yea i can do it and yes you can.

After my 3rd pregnancy,i told my hubby,e don do, let's hang d boot here.I battled pregnancy induced Hb and was highly depressed after the delivery cos d bp continued to skyrocket despite all the drugs i was into.My bp went up as high as 193/110.I was so scared,i tot a lot of negative things.But as God may have it when my baby was getting to 11 months,d bp normalised and i regained back my confidence.
But i still told my self dat baby making will be on hold.
After my dd first birthday,I noticed that i was pregnant again.I feel like my world has collapsed.I hated my hubby for giving me Belle and my self for not been smart.I tot of what i passed tru previously,i was scared.Thats why i didn't identify my self with my team mates here cos,i was not excited.
Long story short, that pregnancy is the most easiest.Wasnt admitted for one day.Bp was good.On d delivery day, labor was short easy.

Finally,i so much love this boy as if he is my first issue.I thank God every day for diz gift.
So great mother's, don't be afraid, go for it when you are emotionally ready for it.
God will make it easier diz time around.

Ask your doctor to review your drugs.At your end, reduce stress and make sure you rest very well.Dont play with your night sleep.
Reduce your salt intake.Inculcate ginger and garlic in your diet,if possible blend and drink d juice at least once a week.I also learnt that cucumber helps too.You need a complete diet change.
Just relax and be prayerful, follow your doctor's instructions, you will carry to term and deliver safely.

Pls don't sit on a hot water rather sit on the one that your body can assimilate like Luke warm water to avoid collapsing d stitches.You supposed to start your sitz bath already.

Hello mummies,my 18 months old baby angrily hit her nose on a stool,after sometimes blood came out of the nose and stopped after few secs,2days after she fell but not that bad and i notice the blood again,this morning,I noticed the nose smells,even when Dh came back this evening he said same thing,have been so worried,please help a worried mum
