l have a friend that don't see her period till she stops breastfeeding. As far as she is breastfeeding, her period stops ,sometimes one year or even more, depends on wen she want to wean. So my dear nothing to worry. Our body differs.

Sorry ma, this looks like chickenpox. It comes with fever and spreads so fast. I might b wrong but please take him to the hospital.

Most jaundice don't really appear immediately after birth. Most of the time, they appear 2 to 3 days after birth. He will b fine when he receives d right treatment.

In the hospital where i delivered, we were told to wait till after the paediatrician has given us a clean bill. My lo was monitored for jaundice by her pead for 4 days after which she was declared fit as no case was found. So she was pierced at the 4th day. It depends on your hospital though.
For the original earing, her daddy is d one dat bought for her, no idea.

Now this name thing is bringing serious issues btw us. He said i'm a woman and have no say in a child's name cos d child is his. A child I suffered to have after 4yrs of ttc and 3mc's o. His mom has been backing him up too. I asked my mom to talk to him,cos my parents are so dissapointed@him. He told my mom not to interfere in our lives. My dad who never really liked his tribe is now saying he regrets accepting my hubby. For 2onths now,our home has been something else. I am so unhappy,especially as its his mom's wish he's putting before mine. I don't know what to do. My parents have boycotted him,but he's still insistent on this name. I've begged him,threatened him,still he's adamant. What do I do? Do I go and do the birth cert myself and put d names I want and face d consequences? He's planning to do it next week. I can't stand that christian 2nd name. HELP!!!!!

My dear, i know how you feel but pls let it go for the sake of peace. When i gave birth to my first i have a lot of names on my head dat i want to give my lo. My dh told me to bring two why he bring two, at the end it was only his two dat he put in the birth certificate.. I was pained but i let it go. I didn't even confront him about it. At this my second he is d one dat told me, it is your turn to name this one, i was so excited.D two names i gave this one is wat is written in the birth certificate. Just my opinion. Other mamas may share their experiences too.

There is really nothing much you can do with chicken pox cos there is no specific treatment for it. All you can do is manage the pains/itch that comes with it. If there is pain give him paracetamol and calamine lotion to ease the itch.
It is highly infectious and my 1st line of thought will be protecting the little bae. Let him go stay with grandma or any relative till all blisters have crusted over. All will be well...

Please mamas i need your input on this. My ds of 2yrs plus has chickenpox. I hv taken him to the medics and was prescribed Dr Aladdin's 7 keys herbal mixture, vit A, vit C, and an antibiotic can remember the name.
D rash was few yesterday but today, it was something else.I started the treatment last night. D rash is just all over him, never seen such before and so irritating.
Pls is there something else i need to do.
My fear, I have a little one dat is just 5 months and one week,yet to be immunize for it. How on earth am I going to protect her from contacting this monster. Just confused. Don't even know where my boy contacted this rubbish mtccheew

@ rezzy same here.My son's own no get part 2.He has virtually destroyed my valuables. He is 2+.
Yesterday, as i was feeding him with superghetti and at the same time carrying my little baby, i was highly pressed. couldn't hold it, drop baby on the mat and quickly rush to the toilet to pee. On getting bk to continue with our feeding, my ds has packed d food inside baby's mouth. d baby on EBF. He was just laughing sheepishly.
Initially I was angry but wen i look at him i started laughing too.
l just use napkin and wipe d mouth.

Good news! The theme for the september RCCG special Holy Ghost service has been unveiled ! 'No more unfruitful efforts'. This service is for those in God's waiting room.

Every year I come here and announce and invite. This year the wicked one has tried to mock me so I'm starting early to announce and invite all believing mothers. For the past 5 years I have marked present. The cool thing is that 4 years ago I met a TTC momma here and we hooked up at the camp and became bestos. Today she is expecting. So I know my time is nigh.

Just to encourage you. September 2013 i was dia and the theme is "And Sarah Laughed ".God indeed wiped my tears and made me to laugh after 4yrs of waiting.Today ,i am a mother of two and still counting. That God that did it for me when i tot that all hope is gone, when i nearly give up on trying, when i nearly give up on marriage will visit you suddenly. It will not tarry again, your waiting is over. God will answer your prayers because indeed there is God on dat mountain. Am waiting to read your testimony amen. So shall it b for you and those believing God for such miracle amen.
