The procedure is really not too difficult......If you are a do it yourself person or alternatively pay an installer to set up the system for you.
Your TV has installed on it a Free To Air Satellite Receiver with a pre-installed Satellite List for you to choose from so that can receive Channels such as MultiTv stations like Joy News, Joy sports, Aljezera, DW, Cine Afrik, etc for example alongside other Free to air stations that you can track with your properly aligned dishes.
First as I'd mentioned you will require a coaxial cable(s) and either 60, 80, or 90 parabolic dish or the larger 1.8 plus larger dishes as well as KU band or C-band LNBs, you could you use both dishes.
You'll thereafter need to set up the dish, affix the LNB to it and thereafter proceed to connect the coaxial cables from the LNBs to your TV.
Thereafter switch on your TV, proceed to track a Satellite such as the Astra 2b on 28.2 degree east which has channels such as the MultiTv stations mentioned above are transmitted and can be received on a Free To Air set up such as that on your TV.
I will suggest you try tracking the Astra 2b SatelliteThe Astra 2b Satellite is aligned alongside or a little away from the position of the DSTV.
Once you are successful with tracking any particular Satellite such as the Astra 2b, you then go from the menu to set up on your TV and auto-scan for and save the channels/stations on the satellites list, the same way your auto scanned to get the TV stations you got that are showing $ signs or indicating that they are scrambled channels/stations.
Once you are done with auto scan the stations would be automatically saved and you can then view them.
