donstan18:Frankfurt walloped Bayern this season, Juve don collect this season, PSG and Real Madrid don collect, so we should all agree that they don’t have a way of playing? You’re insane. |
donstan18:Obviously you haven’t been paying attention. |
donstan18:You watch Chelsea’s games just like I do. You should have noticed a change in our style of play from what it used to be when Frankie was in charge. Tuchel places a lot of emphasis on verticality in possession and circuit based methodology. |
donstan18:Both Pamcode and Bluemann have provided you with the answers you need. I still don’t know what you want to read. Should we switch to a low block, then he’d relax and absorb the pressure from the opposition, it’s simple. It’s a low risk form of defending, one he can handle perfectly well. This is akin to asking “Can one who drove a manual transmission vehicle drive an automatic transmission?” |
FergieRaww:Make your own no for be like that of Eruditor. City go win and you go reverse am, begin order Malt and dry meats for me. |
andrewbaba44:How I go use them wey the same Barca thrash? ![]() |
Juventus are willing to open talks with Chelsea if they make their interest in Matthijs de Ligt concrete. {Tuttosport} |
FergieRaww:Na una be the proponent of Spanish beautiful football and it was within that period una thrash the almighty Madrid. So why I no go use una to judge Spanish football? ![]() Speaking of Villarreal, In what fashion did they knock out Bayern? My argument was centered on quality of football within the two leagues not Unai Emery’s Stoke City Reloaded game plan. |
donstan18:Yeah, speak of Baba Rahman, Werner and Havertz and the hype that surrounded their acquisitions. I’ve been following Liepzig’s games ever since Gvardiol, Nkunku and Andre Silva were mentioned to me by a friend who I play SM with. Under Tedesco, Gvardiol has shown that he can flourish both in a strict man-to-man marking style and a zonal one - this sees them defend not only high up the pitch but also in a mid or low-block. Their formation varies from a 5-3-2 to 3-4-3 and in both of them, the team can use the same pressing movements, and he (Gvardiol) thrives in both. This is where my attention is - Gvardiol team’s style of play and how it corresponds with the demands of Tuchel-ball, not the league itself. |
donstan18:I don’t know about you, but the quality of football that’s been delivered in the Bundesliga over the past 3 seasons surmounts whatever they’re dishing out in Spain. If still in doubt, go make enquiries from Barcelona about their recent trip to Frankfurt. So yes, I’ll have Gvardiol over Pau. Thank you! |
donstan18:The league that has the best striker in the world. |
airmark:Few assessments: 1. Progressive Carries (moving the ball 5 yards forward in the final two-thirds of the pitch). Gvardiol (5.40 per 90 minutes). Rudiger (5.39) Torres (5.18) 2. Dribbles Attempted Torres (1.1 per 90) Gvardiol (1.31) Rudiger (0.31) 3. Passing Torres (86.8%) Gvardiol (84%) Rudiger (88.3%). 4. Progressive Passes (passes that move the ball 10 yards forward in the final two-thirds of the pitch). Gvardiol (5.2 per 90 mins) Torres (4.69) Rudiger (4.96) 5. Error Leading To Shot Torres has made two errors leading to shots, while mistakes from Gvardiol have only led to one shot. Rudiger has made two errors himself this campaign. 6. Tackles And Interceptions Gvardiol - 5.4 per 90 minutes Torres - 2.69 per 90 Rudiger - 2.92 per 90 7. Aerial Duels Torres - 65.6% Gvardiol - 59.1%. Rudiger - 69.5% Statistically, where Pau has an edge over Gvardiol is aerial duels won. Bar that, the Croat be senior man. Here’s a City fan agreeing with me on Pau.

Thesis wey go end with hot doggy! |
I’m hearing that Roman Abramovich now wants his £1.6bn loan paid back as TimesSport is reporting. UK Govt have always insisted this can’t happen. Clock is ticking on May 31st deadline but it’s more serious than a complex delay. The Premier League meet on June 8th to constitute the new league for 22-23. If Chelsea aren’t licensed to operate by then - and they are only licensed now on UK Govt sufferance - then they can’t be part of PL. We have an existential problem in our hands. |
airmark:Barely a week ago, Salah was playing a pass through his legs to set up Mane. Good player but he can’t be better than Kounde as opined by Amoto and some other guys here. Villarreal play with a low block, so most of his vulnerabilities are obscured. He’s a tad slow and would struggle in the PL. I’ll rather go for Gvardiol to fill in for Rudiger over Pau.

Mane for Balon d’Or |
All you needed was a goal. |
Liverpool don dey collect am. |
I know we couldn’t make it to the playoffs but Iykmora . . .
|
IamBabsjnr:Tanzanian league still dey on na. |
Roland17:Na Gombe United boss. Travel parole still dey pending when we find a good contact. Pics after the game. Love was massive from the locals.

Out here watching my younger brother Kelechi Chimezie up against our childhood club Enyimba FC in our f**king hometown. He’s the captain of the day.
|
I just remembered Delap, a legendary EPL throw-in taker. Respect! |
andrewbaba44:Kounde have long been identified as Azpi’s replacement since TT took over, I don’t know what you’re capping bro. There will be a possible integration of Colwil into the first team, he can fill in for Christensen. Then you have Givadiol and Fofana who are rumored to be on our watchlist. What’s the buzz for Pau and Bastoni who we both know wont come cheap? |
andrewbaba44: Amoto94:Kounde is the direct replacement for Azpilicueta given that he can play as a RB, RWB and RCB. Both Bastoni and Pau Torres are left-footed players and can’t be considered as replacements for Captain Dave. |
nihilistjnr:When saner countries discuss sanctions, we have no right to dabble into the convo. We don’t understand decorum, being mad is a standard way of life in this country. |
I’d love to see Levi Colwill stake a claim for a first team spot next season. Boy has been on fire for Huddersfield this season. Reece James announced his emergence in relatable manner while on loan at Wigan. We’ve already lost a gem in Guehi, we can’t afford to miss out on this boy. |
popizaino:Una get bad mouth for here ![]() |
Eddie Nketiah, who hasn't scored a single league goal this season, has a brace tonight. Funny football ![]() |
Unlimited22:Something that was glaring clear to the blind against Brentford. He keeps letting down his talent with rather too much showboating. He should be older than Aurelian Tchoameni of Monaco, but that one is way hardworking and looks already proven than him. |
Ibime:Groin. Expected to miss West Ham game. |
