Only an utterly useless player like Bakayoko will produce the following highlights from a single match.

Below is what will happen to the escort if TT play the attacking football you keep shouting about. Thank God TT knows better than to expose that cameraman

This guy is not a DM abeg. This is calamity on high definition, nothing less.

I don't know what most folks watch when they sit to view a game. You have to understand the basics first before analysing what you're watching.

How on God green's earth is this guy a DM? I mean these few clips can clearly show you how exposed our back line was during that game. No effing protection from the No4.

Dude was either jogging back to his territory or getting ràped front and back in his territory.

Even John Obi Mikel was a much better DM than Jorginho from what I've seen thus far.

They got through their second and third matches via Salah, got through the others due to good goalkeeping...
Carlos keeps starting Marmoush and Mohammed Mustapha, e sure me die say those two people no fit juggle ball up to 10 times, especially that Mustapha...Maybe he's a big name in Egypt though he plays in Turkey now because I no know wetin en d contribute...
Has the guy even had a shot on target?

That Egyptian team is so boring mehn. There's nothing enterprising about them, they only look inventive whenever Salah is on the ball, and those doesn't last for long cos his teammates are bound to let him down.

I'm rooting for Senegal at this stage. Those ones are balling.

Egypt are in the final without beating one major Black African country on the pitch

Lost to Nigeria, took CIV and Cameroun to penalties

The only time they felt confident to play was facing their North African brothers Morocco

Don't be surprised, they will try to take Senegal to penalties.

That's how tournament football is played.
Funny thing is that, they don't look like they pose a threat going forward.

How they've gotten to this stage is something else.

Carlos Quieroz effect maybe.

How you know say him senior Senior Man

From what I heard Ndidi came up in Lagos at a young age through academy system and went abroad early, though he's an Ikwerre man
Im usually in the company of NPFL players and there's a lot to pick from their camaraderies.

Just as I met senior man years ago when their team Taye visited Aba for a grassroot competition or even Samuel Kalu wey be Okigiwe Road Aba boy, so did many NPFL players meet most of these guys, and at all times have something to say about them.

I'm not too sure on Ndidi's age as I don't really know him well but a close source talk say na 30-something.

Griffon, is busquet, rodri, Xabi alonso and pirlo your "spec" of DM??

Because one thing is sure so far, jorginho, rodri, Xabi alonso and busquet are all the same types of DM who have anchored their teams to varying degrees of success. All of them undeniably known as relatively successful players.
What is your own spec of DM?
These guys aren't genuine DMs rather players with good ball control. They tend to thrive in teams whose style of play places emphasis on too many short passes - possession based. Move them to teams that favors a direct style of play and watch the disgrace.

So yes, I'll pass when in the hunt for a DM. It wasn't their ingenuity as DMs that propelled their teams to varying degrees of success rather their teams' style of play.

A good DM must possess some level of defensive skills, awareness, strength and stamina, positioning, passing ability and the ability to read the game. That's my specification.

Jorginho is always caught out of position, isn't physically strong, lacks defensive skills and lacks awareness. The only two boxes you can tick is his ability to read the game and his passing ability, that in all honestly makes him a DM misfit.

DM has a simple definition - a defensive midfielder, not a jogging midfielder.

Be careful, Jogginghoe is the best thing since sliced bread

They should have listened to TT last summer when price was £40m, now price done double and competition is fierce. If they are not sure of winning the bid, they should make a play for Zakaria.

I see no issue with Fabinho/Tchouameni pairing as Tchouameni can play CM. Infact he looks more of a CM than DM
Just negodu, Fabinho/Tchouaméni? Isn't that anti-football? Klopp na modafucker!

If we lose Tchouaméni to either Manyoo, Liverpool or Real, I'll suggest we make a move for Wilfried Ndidi.

I still don't know why lotta folks underrate that homeboy. Nigga is the best in the DM position right after Kante and Fabinho in the EPL.

You can take that anywhere.

Exclusive Liverpool have had a £45m bid REJECTED for Aurélien Tchouaméni. #LFC proposal was bid + loan back to Monaco for 6 months. #LFC will wait for summer for new proposal. [French Football Insider] https:///pNmiLGxJrH

A fight on our hands....Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool...
You have in your squad one of the best defensive midfielders in Fabinho yet you're shooting for Tchouaméni?

Won't blame Kloop though, this is a man who has a rich knowledge about midfield game. A man that understands the paramount importance of laying a solid base in the middle of the park.

If only our board can lower their pride this time and yield to TT's request for Tchouaméni, we'll be on a good course.

I've always said it, Jorginho isn't a DM, at least not my spec, I've lost count of how many times we failed to get away with his blushes. Meanwhile, the only genuine DM in the team, Kante, isn't getting any younger. If there's an area of our squad that needs serious attention it is the midfield.

Madrid are already working towards the long-term replacement of Casemiro, Kroos and Modric. That can be seen in the signing of Camavinga and the integration of Federico Valverde into the first team. And as you know, they're equally in the race for Tchouaméni's signature.

But here, it's either we're prioritizing wingers over the acquisition of CMs or we're forced to 'manage' DM misfits like Jorginho or an aging Kante.

Make the katakata wey burst after we won the UCL in 2012 no come repeat itself o.

“I have been very busy with village politics since November, hence Aba Netbusters’ free fall on the log. However, I still have support of the board, they have always believed in my work and project. It is left for me to return that faith by getting a salvage operation underway.

We’ll consider the myriad of options that lies before us. Either to hit the second wildcard and go for an overhaul or to put up some players for sale on eBay.

Honestly, at some stage, we did nurse dreams of lifting the championship but you know, in life things don’t always go as planned. We’re picking ourselves up from here to make a last push, not for the title (aint no magician) but to stay above the relegation waters”
