ALAKANNI: I am not HITV corporate affairs manager but you should know that HITV has only 80% right on EPL, maybe the match you talking about falls on DSTV 20% for this weekend. Alternatively subscribed to DSTV for #9000 per month to watch only two EPL matches or you wait till next season for 100% EPL on HITV. Cheers DSTV showed the Bolton-Blackburn and Sunderland-Arsenal Games this last weekend! HITV was supposed to show the Tottenham-Wigan game, From the posters complaint above, Seems they didnt What a shame! |

C.Ronaldo will play some minutes against Zurich on Wednesday night and probably be fit enough to play the full game against Barcelona! Enough reason for the Catalans to be scared right now! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: HiTV Wins Another Bid For EPL Right Till 2013 by GTay(m): 1:22pm On Nov 24, 2009 |
yemmight: Good deal for HITV. We should forget so soon that even it took DSTV some years put their ASS together when they started. I remember what we use to go thru even in paying thier bills. We should encourage HITV on thier poor services. Dont forget also that HITV brought down some of the subscription fees. HITV, Sky is your limit joo. You have a point, But being a small company still trying to get its act together, why is HITV then contending with the Big Players if they know they cannot deliver comparative services, The Question we should be asking ourselves is this: What if these licenses were not exclusive to any PayTV? What if Daarsat, DSTV and HITV all had equal 100% rights to the EPL and subscribers are free to access these games via any of the PayTV above - Would HITV still have enough patronage due to its obvious deficiencies? For the record i have both Hitv and DSTV but i've refused to renew on the Hitv platform since the recent upward review of their prices. They offer zero entertainment, So what happens at the end of the EPL match you've just watched? You turn off your T.V right? PayTV Bizness is a lot more than Football - and HITV needs to learn that fast! |

oyb: In Nigeria, the Presidential Villa at the Federal Capital, the airports, the seaports are all powered by generators. Governments at all levels buy generators and distribute to various public offices. Even the electricity corporation, the PHCN, runs its offices with the aid of generating sets! A very interesting article, a sad picture of where we are as a country BTW i seem to know one PHCN office that banned the use of Generators within the office premises. It was run by a woman - and she was highly revered. |

honeric01: Since we have 3 hsm8 with 3 votes each, maybe they will only announce 2 housemate with the first 3 nominations, then that leaves Emma out, he can either remove mzamo, replace with Kevin or replace with Emma (nkenna?) i doubt it, It will probably be the same as when Nkenna, Elizabeth and Emma were all up! with only one HM leaving |

ow11: What you fail to realise is that metaphorical statements emanate from stereotypes and getting worked up over them are not necessary. I can make statements like '' He gobbled down his food like someone on an American burger eating contest'' OR '' His behaviour after last night's drinking session made me think I was on the streets of London on an early saturday morning'' OR ''Her boyfriend reminds me of a Colombian drug baron'' and not expect citizens of the various countries to write online petitions asking me to withdraw my statements.
Now drug barons are NOT all Colombian, Americans aren't the only consumers of Burgers and the Brits aren't the only consumers of alcohol. It is just preponderance and media coverage. Nigerian fraud emails were a global phenomenon in the early to mid-noughties and using them to describe a situation that'll give readers a good grip of the writer's intented message shouldn't raise any eyebrows to well-informed readers.
I don't think the writer had any malice like I didn't when making those three generalisations. . . Well Said Bro, Wonder what it would take to change this alarming trend! |

Eddy's options are limited to the two Nigerians (Nkenna & Kevin)
Since the other 3 Housemates (Mzamo, Itai & Emma) are all up
He has no option really than to put up Kevin, Besides Nkenna is in his alliance |
