Benzema is more talented than Higuain but Higuain's work ethic is what makes him the starting 9 for Real Madrid. Mourinho knows this and thats why he prefers Higuain over Benz. With more hardwork, and a bit of luck in front of goal i foresee Benz grabbing the starting berth in the near future.

Benz' brings along with him close link-up plays, 1-2's, and slick passing which is what is required to slice open even the tightest of defences. He has shown this by providing assists in the last three games all off the bench .

Higuain is now taken off and replaced by Lassana Diarra, Real Madrid intends to protect this precious lead with less than 5 minutes to go.
