BARLEY one month after its registration by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), has formally commenced online registration of its members.

This is even as the newly registered political party has thrown its weight behind the proposal for Nigerians in the Diaspora to vote during the 2015 general elections.

Speaking at the unveiling of the online membership registration yesterday in Abuja, National Chairman of the PDM, Bashir Yusuf, said that the move is in line with the party’s commitment to openness, fairness and a drive to create a level playing ground for all Nigerians of voting age in and outside the country to participate in governance through authentic party membership.

How do Deltans apply?

Three days ago, on Channel tv, including The GUARDIAN Newspaper it was repeatedly announced that Bar. Festus Keyamo had been unanimously endorsed as the consensus candidate of APC,Delta State. Now that the ENDORSEMENT has been proved to be a mere ruse aimed to outsmart the other candidates, it therefore becomes necessary for Bar. Keyamo to apologize to his people if he still eyes the senatorial seat.However, The GUARDIAN and Chanel tv should follow suit.

Keyamo emerges consensus senatorial candidate

Editor

THE battle over who picks the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta Central Senatorial re-run appears settled as the three legacy parties which came together to form the new party adopted human rights lawyer Festus Keyamo as their consensus candidate.

They are Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP) and Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).

According to a statement, the chairmen, elected officers and leaders of the legacy parties from the eight local governments that make up the Delta Central Senatorial District made this known in a statement issued after several hours of meeting in Effurun on Wednesday.

Reading the statement to newsmen and party faithful, APC leader in Ethiope West LGA, Chief (Capt.) Victor. A. Sota, representing the legacy parties, noted that as owners of the party, their decision to adopt Keyamo as a consensus candidate is binding on all and sundry of the legacy parties in Delta Central.

Prominent among signatories to the statement are ACN Chairman, Delta Central, Mr. Solomon Oyen, Delta Central ANPP Chairman, Chief S.I Savbede, ACN State Legal Adviser, Chief Hero Onwirhiran, CPC Deputy State Chairman, Mr. Igini Aghogho, CPC State Publicity Secretary, Sir. Raphael Tobore Ogene and ANPP State Welfare head, Joseph Akpotihiwe.

Be wise!

I came across this scam in my email, I know some persons might be deceived. Nairalanders pls take note.
See the scam below:

DAARSAT will always open and close. Watch out

Mrs Faridat Waziri contributed to the corruption in Nigeria. In her time, many notorious politicians were celebrated as saints.

I trust OBJ in this matter, Nigeria today is stagnant because it is laden with many Waziris. If Nigeria were to be a true state,the likes of Waziri should have been kept at bay.

At the moment, the Urhobo youths are fed-up with the current high level of MARGINALIZATION, ISOLATION, JOBLESSNESS, HARDSHIP, POVERTY, DESPERATION, NEGLIGENCE, DESPONDENCY, DECEIT, UNDERDEVELOPMENT, ABANDONMENT, DISENFRANCHISEMENT,MISREPRESENTATION,WRONG EMPOWERMENT(if any), BETRAYAL, UNEMPLOYMENT,SELFISHNESS, CORRUPTION, LACK OF INTERNAL DEMOCRACY WITHIN PARTIES, STOLEN MANDATE, LOOTING,BRIBERY, DESPAIR AND IDLENESS.

However, resorting to violence is a mistake because as much as i know:

Dialogue is better than Violence;

Peaceful Protest is better than Pandemonium;

Love is better than Hatred &

Peace is better than War.
