The same Bible tells me what to do with my tithe in Deuteronomy 14 22 to 29, that is if I were to follow the teachings of tithes. Don't stand up and work, be looking for supernatural money. Deuteronomy 14 22 to 29 makes it clear to us how and where to pay your tithes. How does giving money to a pastor equate to giving to God? Even when Jesus said that whatsoever you do to the least of his brothers that you do unto him. No bible passage to support his, just sentiments and emotions! I have observed that most of those who didn't pay tithe are doing way better than the so called faithful tithers! I have very wealthy friends who don't pay tithes, neither do I.

I know of faithful tithers that are far richer than unfaithful ones. I know of unfaithful tither getting close to a million monthly and end up borrowing before half of the month. I think those that are talking their tithe to the poor or ophanage homes are the one taking God's word with sentiment and emotions because no that the know tithing is bad but they feel they are enriching the rich and not God they are giving to.

In as much as God ask us to give to the poor, releasing your resources to God is also paramount. Resources can come in any form; your time to serve God, your expertise to teach people freely, your money to support the kingdom, evangelism etc.

Many of us like to attend churches with everything on point. Good structure, clean and clear sound system, fully air conditioned etc. we dont want to attend growing churches that the ground is not cemented, intense heat during service, poor sound system, wooding chair etc even though sound word of God is preached there. If you attend the church with "everything on point" and everbody dont pay tithe there, is it your 50 naira offering every sunday that the church will use to fuel the generator and maintain other resources? Please let us not deceive ourselves with what non church-goers says, put yourself in the position of the church administrator and see if a freewill offering will sustain the church needs.

Giving to the poor without telling them about Christ and how to come out of poverty is a waste of resources. And these churches are really teaching, praying, and empowering people to get out of poverty, if such members get rich and will later say he/she will forget the source and give to the poor alone, thats evil.

Those saying that pastors dont give bible verse to support tithing should tell government to give bible verse before they pay tax. It is in d law of nigeria to pay tax, so any non-tither should only attend churches that their doctrine doesnt talk about tithe, but if your church teaches tithe and u dont pay, its evil. Imagine a C&S church member wearing black to church, is that not evil and mockery?

When you dont attend any church, nobody can ask you for tithe. Daddy freeze that you follow probably dont attend any church so i see no reason for him to pay tithe. US government cant ask for tax if you dont have any business in their country. if you attend a church and you are blessed by their resources, it is paramount that you give to support, and not of neccessity like tax, but of a cheerful heart and revernce to God as your source.

You could ask the question that is it a pastor's law to pay tithe? It is written that Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever, yet people think God stops speaking to people after the book of Revelations. The Holy Spirit is given to reveal and teach us all things, things that God has said that are in the bible and things that God will say after the bible was written. So apart from what bible says about tithe, if God told a pastor that tithe is good, its all about your believe if d man is a real or fake pastor. If you say amen to the prayer of the pastor, you know he hears from God because he prophesy and comes to pass, i think its hypocrisy to think that the pastor did not hear from God about tithe. Or is there anybody or pastor that God reveal to that tithe is not good? Let him also come forward and say what God says.

No sane man can tell me that smoking is good but yet its not written in the bible, can we now say smoking is good because the bible is silent about it? No, we use "your body is the temple of God to back it up" which speak nothing about smoking.


In Conclusion I strongly believe that tithes should be paid by those that are born again and understands kindom principle because the tithe of an unbeliever is just a waste and abomination to God, thats why the focus of a true church is teaching about salvation first before teaching about tithe.

Please let us not judge the pastors when we dont get close to them to know how tithe is spent. Many pastors are not called by God, their belly called them. But the few that are called by God has good testimony to share about the importance of tithe and what it is used for if we really get close to them.

If we dont question the government what they do with our tax but leave them to efcc which are paid by tax to judge, then i wonder why people dont leave pastors to God to judge if tithe is not used for Him. Nobody can tithe if he/she has not been blessed, but tithe secures your blessing and rebuke devourers for your sake.

Many say Dangote dont tithe and he is rich, even though they dont know anything about him and they just speculate. What if he is d back bone of these pastors private jets? Even if he doesnt tithe or support any church, what of those his employees that are paying tithe? Do you think God will let his business colapse and make thousands of tithe payers jobless?

Dont be decieved, God cannot be mocked, whatever your sow, you shall reap.

Thanks a lot for that observation, it was actually a mistake. What i intended to mean by "finite state machine" was discrete analog or digital component.

I cant see any control electronics that regulates the charging voltage and charging current. No charging indicator. You suppose to make a video of how it works but nothing but this useless picture.
The battery will overcharge and then explode. This is not technology. Its one of the mediocritical way of doing things in Nigeria.

Tithing is a way to give back to God a portion of what he has given to you. Many people who don't pay tithe in church still want to go to a beautiful church, well air conditioned, executive chairs, good toilets etc is it your 20naira offering that will get all that? Apart from tithes and offering, donations are still made to get all these facilities.

In the days of the apostles, congregation brought their all, sell all their belongings and everyone had things in common. Is that not even more than tithe?

How many of people condemning tithe go to the orphanage to give them gifts?

How many of them even give to their neighbors.

Just keep on condemning tithes, people are getting blessed from it. Paying tithes wont make you poorer. Its not paying it that will make you poor. Many people eventually wast more than 10 percent of their salaries on women, gambling, hospital, theft, etc. Those are devourers which God have promised to rebuke if you pay tithe.

tithes are used to take d gospel to villages and nation where gospel needs to get to, even if the pastors are getting rich from it, they have their own case in heaven, you dont have to judge them. Many of these pastors have their own source of income and some fromyou gifts, seed offering etc. And it might not be your tithes that is making them rich. Give what is ceaser unto ceacer because if you get to heaven and you are rejected because of not paying tithe, then you will regret it, if you are told that tithing is not that necessary, you are still saved.

Hello gurus in the house. Please I am in a real fix.. I have to submit a project on Monday, but I am having issues with it.

Basically, I am required to carry out a PROTEUS simulation involving multiplexing using Pic 16f877, whereby (1) A keypad and a LCD display will be connected on the same port, say PORT D, though the EN and RS will be on PORT A

(2) A keypad and a Seven Segment Display, still using the same PORT D..

Can anyone please help with the basics of this multiplexing.. I can do the simulation using separate PORTS, but not the multiplexing .

This is my own crude method of managing pin space and multiplexing input with output.
I used the EN of d lcd to enable the lcd while d kp_en to enable d keypad. So the keypad and d lcd share time resources i.e. the time allocated for lcd screen refresh is shared and allocated to read keypad state.

At the start of the subroutine for lcd_write, you will turn portD direction into Output and at kp_read u turn the port into input port.

Enjoy the circuit and feel free to ask questions and dont mind my handwriting and handdrawing.

It was a lovely morning when I was called to report for an interview that was slated for 8am the next morning.....I was filled with joy for the opportunity to even be invited...I was unable to sleep throughout the night...I was busy wondering how it will look like and the nature of questions to expect...finally the day was here, I dressed up in my brown long sleeves packing shirt on top of my black trousers and my black shoe....I complimented it with my black slim tie...I was there before 7:30am. I went to the receptionist to ask for direction....she told me to sit down...while sitting I was praying and wondering how the interview will look like. A man came to where I was siting down....initially I thought he was the one that will interview me...not knowing that he too is an applicant like myself. I was there sitting until around 10:30 when a slip was passed round for us( 5 ) to fill our names and signature, later I was called in to a big hall with three persons for interview......it was tough...I was sweating.....but thank God....all went well....still expecting their call....Pray for me guys.

Many people has been complaining about Power banks not lasting longer upto the stated capacity, and it all boils down to the deceit happening at computer village, alaba and other known places where fake products are sold.

It happened just like a dream to me and till now I cannot believe I am be the one cheated like this. I bought a so called 20000mAh at computer village Lagos; well, i know that the capacity is not up to that because i used my eye to gauge and calculate the number of 3.6volts battery cells inside which is 4, and I know from experience that power banks with one cell is about 2600mAh, ones with 2 cells is 5200mAh so 4 cells with be about 11000mAh but I didnt mind the fake rating written on the power bank because as an Electronics and Embedded Systems Engineer, i just needed the four 3.6volts cells only to power my small project.

I tested the powerbank at the shop and it worked well (charging my phone), but when i got home i could not believe my eyes... behold... I have been duped. The power bank I thought has 4 cells has 1 true cell and 3 fake cells full of sand.

I suspected something wasnt right when i opened the power bank and found out that only one of the cells was connected and the the other 3 was left unconnected to the internal circuitry of the power bank and bridged together. I got curious to know why that was done. i used my volts meter to test the voltage of the unconnected cells and found out that it is reading 0.00v I got more curious. I have been dealing with Lithium-Iron batteries for years and I know that there is a fuse in the battery to prevent fire in case of a short circuit, i wanted to see if i can work my way through to bypass the fuse. To my surprise I found powder and Sand inside the cells.

[b]LESSONS:[/b]Even though i am in another state right now and i cannot return the power bank, i want others to learn not no buy a power bank without a brand name inscribed on it, and also, any power bank rated falsely is probably fake.

You are right. I heard after 5years subscription it will be for free. No subscription. I am sure after 2 years the battery efficiency will begin to depreciate, just like those solar street lights and traffic lights. This unit is to be used day and night, even before 2years the battery might not last longer.

I trust Nigerian like me and some others that will use light fan and tv and charge laptop throughout the night to maximise my usage for the subscription cost and use d battery to 0% knowing that sun will charge it d next day.

It is a good idea just that i need to buy a dc fan dc tv etc. Engineer like me could bypass the circuit and use electricity for free forever. I dont know how secured the circuit is and dont know how easy it will be to bypass the network but i hope i wont be disappointed if i find out that it is so easy for a layman to bypass. so mtn should better step up their game. If not this business is as good as failed. Because I know an 80w solar as sold for 20k including d indoor unit and accessories it should cost up to 50k so mtn gets back their money through subscription.

ordinary pen refill(you know how cheap this would be)
4 minutes epoxy(#200)
drill bit i used 1.0mm(#40) i spent less than #400 to build it. i will buy more bits later sha.....will upload picture on a free day.(v.busy at school). I was suprised because it drill pcb really fast n easy.....it very easy to use n handle because of its portability....i power it with USB power supply.

Hmmm... nice one, nice invention here. But i bet you will still need the real one, the real one has more power than yours, apart from pcb u might need to drill a plastic casing for your project. you will need bits of different sizes for different jobs.

for a start, well...your invention will do but for more professional jobs, you will need the real pcb drilling machine, a big 650W drilling machine, a jig saw etc.

I checked out hub360 when I wanted to buy my arduino mega but their prices were exorbitant. I ended up ordering from aliexpress. delivery time is something that pisses me off. anyway, I am currently working on my first robot with bluetooth controlled and obstacle avoidance capabilities. I also intend to add new functionality with a gyro/accelerometer I recently got.

my problem now is how to get a suitable, relatively cheap battery to run my servos. readings I got from the servo when run from my PC indicates that it consumes about 125mA and I need a battery that can run about 4 of them for at least 1hour.

from research I did, I found some LiPO batteries that fit the specification but with the increasing cost of the dollar, I am forced to wait.

I also think money is a factor affecting the Nigerian student's ability to practice these things. those of us who have had a little practice know how far behind our school system is in terms of practical knowledge and this has really opened my eyes to why the nigerian graduate is unemployable.

you can get batteries so cheap that will still serve you for the main time while waiting for lipo batteries. go to a laptop repair store and buy bad laptop batteries at the rate of 200 naira max. these batteries contains minimun of six 3.6v 2200mAh batteries which you can arrange in series or parallel based on the specification you need.

Note that in buying those batteries, there is an element of luck. you could be so lucky that all the cells will be good and you could be so unlucky that all will be bad. but the probability that at least 2 will be good is 80%.

make sure you handle the batteries with care because they are easily damaged when the undergo mechanical stress.

Just continue the work, practice makes perfect. Led matrix soldering is always tedious so thats why led matrix modules is used.
