My sis got married last Dec and we took care of the trads. Her hubby's contribution was providing the items on the list he was given. Even bride and groom's wardrobe for the day was provided by bride's family.

The church wedding also saw us helping out with expenses - not cos d groom couldn't do it, but because its just common sense and fair to contribute to the expenses.

Personally i think whoever has more (financially) should do more but if you're waiting for one party to do everything cos culture says so, u're on your own.

Currently running a Masters Program and also on the verge of getting admitted into another Masters program in a diff school. Do i really want to go thru the stress ? School 1, school 2, work?

I plan taking the general HSE at NISP but was informed they don't have weekend programs.
My work schedule is very tight and i'm not free until sept when i take my annual leave.

Can anyone help out with HSE institutes that offer weekend programs? I really need the HSE course/certification asap!.

I was waiting for a colleague a couple of months ago at the lobby of Sheraton Lagos when a well dressed young man came and sat beside me. He said hello, picked up a magazine on the table and leafed thru d pages then finally looked up and asked that i help him with N500 for transport as he was going to Ikorodu but got stranded.
I felt embarrassed and gave him the money thinking how hard it must have been for him to summon up courage to ask.

To my surprise the guy just walked to the bar, bought a glass of Chapman and crisps and walked to another table after stopping briefly to ask if i wanted a drink too  

I was baffled and didnt know what to make of him. Was he just hungry or really stranded? You can't tell these days

The song is nice, d guy tried wella but he ought to take some pain killers after all d muscle twisting

Same in Lekki too, started late afternoon yesterday. Just stepped outside to take a look and vehicles are so dusty now and everywhere has the making of harmattan
