Many Madrid fans already ruled out the possibilities of Bayern stopping them from getting to the finals. I wonder how convenient that is. |
We have far more bigger issues than Dino. The FG should get its priorities straight. |
Tithe has nothing to do with heaven. You pay or not, if you're are a sinner, you'll perish. I encourage giving to support fellow believers, just as Paul and Barnabas made an initial famine-relief visit to Jerusalem in A.D. 46 and delivered a monetary gift from the church at Antioch (Acts 11:29-30). For safety reasons, mountain climbers rope themselves together when climbing a mountain. That way, if one climber should slip and fall, he would not fall to his death but would be held by the others until he could regain his footing. In a similar way the Corinthians' surplus supplied the needs of the Judean churches so that the Judean churches could, in turn, meet the needs of the Corinthians (2 Cor 8:14). This is the principle of Christian giving in the early years of Christianity -to support the poor and vulnerable believers. Look around us today. You see Christians who can not afford a 3-square daily meal talk less of giving their wards quality education, while their GOs live comfortably and even use money belonging to the ministry to build universities that almost all their members can not afford to study in. Proceeds from church offerings and other collections (not necessarily tithes) should be for charity purpose. Let all pastors look for other paid jobs (I know a church that doesn't have full time pastors, no tithes but only raises funds for those in need across all their branches. This is how church of God is supposed to be) Apostle Paul and in fact, all Apostles were working class and didn't depend on the church for their personal upkeep. |
maasoap:To sane minds, yes, they won't attack without provocation. But I'm telling you, a bloodthirsty Fulani herdsman will kill you in the bush if he sees that you're alone (or may be, rebuking a Fulani for grazing his herds in farm is provocation to you) Someone was attacked on my cashew farm three years ago by the usual suspects (may be you can try and paint a picture of how the herdsman was provoked). Thank God the person could defend himself. As farmers were being attacked on daily basis, robbery was the order of the day on the road. Things got so bad we had todo something drastic. The Fulani bororos (the nomadic ones) are stuck in the stone age. They refused to embrace education and they breed like rats. What do you think happens to a population of uneducated youths (mind you, most of the young ones don't have cattle as you may think and are just like caregivers )? They turn to crime. May be you've not noticed the main reason why governments spend huge on education. It's not so much because they want you to do well in life, as because they see it as a security measure (we call it external benefits in economics). An enlightened population is more unlikely to turn to crime right? What do you say about a horde of uneducated, stone age minded individuals without or with inadequate means of livelihood? And before you tag me a Fulani hater, my fiancee is of Fulani stock, I speak their language (not Hausa) I fluently, and I'm closer to them than you'll ever be, except you're one. |
kitaatita:Below, is the supposed statements made by Mr. Buhari in London. "The problem is even older than us. It has always been there, but now made worse by the influx of armed gunmen from the Sahel region into different parts of the West African sub-region. These gunmen were trained and armed by Muammar Gadaffi of Libya. When he was killed, the gunmen escaped with their arms. We encountered some of them fighting with Boko Haram. Herdsmen that we used to know carried only sticks and maybe a cutlass to clear the way, but these ones now carry sophisticated weapons. The problem is not religious, but sociological and economic. But we are working on solutions."I agree this Fulani killings is not a recent or new thing and that arms proliferation from North Africa may have played a role in the rise of Boko Haram insurgency. But if we want to be honest with ourselves, this recent killings is purely a Fulani thing and has nothing to do with external influence. In context, Buhari wasn't blaming Gadaffi for killings by herdsmen, but his statement doesn't just add up to previous ones. He once said these killers are foreigners, yet he has done everything to frustrate every measure put in place by the affected state governments to identify and isolate these Criminal Minds from the genuine herdsmen. The Police boss would later blame the attacks on anti open grazing laws (...and I wonder if this law proceeds the attacks in the first place). They would have us believe it's herdsmen-farmers clash, but we all know these herdsmen attack unprovoked. The President would have us believe that these killers are foreigners (he once said that) but some of us know that majority of these herdsmen are criminal elements that engage in wanton killings, kidnapping and robbery as past times. Kidnapping and robbery by herdsmen may be due to economic situations, but these coordinated killings going on across the country by these Fulani elements has religious undertones. Plus this people believe in political occupation in this age and time. So if Buhari likes, he can continue to blame everyone else for the genocide, but the killers themselves. Not all Nigerians are intellectually lazy and it's a matter of time before he knows that. |
goodnews777:There's no scriptural evidence that suggests that rapture would preceed the second coming. For avoidance of doubt, there's no word like rapture in the Bible. And yes, nobody is going anywhere until the end of tribulation. After the tribulation, comes the second coming (or rapture). Separating the so called rapture and the second coming of Christ is a very dangerous teaching. Jesus was once here and the only second coming would be the end. No secret rapture, nothing. Everything will end in one single affair. Having the hope that if you miss the rapture, you still have another chance is indeed a very dangerous hope-there's no hope in that at all.. |
When a people have the right knowledge, they become limitless. Human capital development is what we need as a nation. Education with emphasis on science and technology. If we want rapid developments and stop capital flights, having large pool of skilled man power is the key. Elrufai knows nothing about economics. |
Sirmuel1:The past most times defines the future. Say something else. |
Sirmuel1:Between 2007 and now the combined matches with Barça and Real is 6. Liverpool won 3 of them. One against Barça, two against Madrid. |
SonOfAfonja:The last two matches with Sevilla ended in draw. Liverpool won their last match against Villarreal. |
SonOfAfonja:No need for insults, just checking history. Liverpool has won more matches against Spanish sides till date. Except you have a contrasting fact, it's better you keep quiet. |
Sirmuel1:Liverpool, for example, has won more games against the best two Spanish teams. How about that? |
Abidecdrock:Close...but you may still apply. |
akabu2016:You sure don't know the meaning of HMO. |
dupzy05:Yes |
