okesammie: 'Bank can't pay SEVIS with Western Union for 2 weeks'. This makes no sense really, I would be really worried about this friend, first you sent MG to him which he can collect at any Walmart or Shoppers or liquor store sef, cross to the other side of the road look for a WU shop, do quickpay for $209.99 , you'll get the confirmation in 5 mins. Sir your friend is lying. 1 Like |

I greet everybody o, how every The cold has been brutal, exam, oral defenses on top of the CFA I'm writing barely a week from now but God dey... Mekurexx, Fortissimo, Oludare I sight una. plauses, calfavour, cutemorgan and Riddy y'all owe me mails. I greet imperiouxx and Darefadi(London is my home). And as for prospective students, this is the year of Trump which will make US policy fluid and in a state of flux at least for the next 4 yrs. There is at least going to be a potential crackdown on H-1B visas for encroaching on 'American jobs'. This has become a really clannish place. Again build yourself, toughen up before coming here. A lizard in Nigeria will not turn to an alligator in North Dakota and you will not start pissing rosewater when you get here. If you are coming in for economics and you have no solid quantitative background be prepared to work thrice as hard or boy you are in for one hell of a ride. I It has been up and down here, I have been robbed, I have been towed in front of a NLders apartment (cost me $300 give a few dollars the week a few bills were due) and I have been in an accident (20th Nov) which was ruled by my insurance company as a 50/50 even though I was hit from the back, I'm getting a lawyer and disputing that verdict and going for therapy as I have been unable to walk since the accident. 5 Likes 1 Share |

AusterHeights: Your GPA is not good, you GRE is not particularly awesome, I won't knock your hustle but unless you can craft one hell of a SOP, your funding is a long shot... That been said forget Illinois State University they might not even admit you not to talk of funding, I trust Professor Mohammadi ... EIU is the only school on that list where you have a minor shot if any at all for funding... You want honest... I just gave you honest 4 Likes |

Bleep*ng comedians, see goal " My mission is to create 36 billionaires in five years and one millionaire each from the 777 local government areas in the country in the next one year". No one not Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg set out to be a Billionaire, they just set out to make the world a more open and connected place and the billions was inevitable. This programs like several other ill-considered(conceived) programs of the FGN will soon port to the graveyard or wherever Nigerian projects go 36 Likes 3 Shares |

The megalomania of Nigerians knows no bounds, you just had to declare Adichie as the Africa's 'most acclaimed' author. May I ask you how you came to this conclusion? How many African authors do you know? Did you sample opinions across different African countries? Toilet paper thread. 37 Likes 2 Shares |

I promised to give out a free GRE( It has been received by Adazlolly/Priceless200 a travelander) and subsidize 2-3 peoples TOEFL/GRE. The remaining 30% subsidy was booked by some NL'DERS but I keep hearing I need it next month, next year... We do not know what next month or year holds neither are my co-facilitators comfortable with hogging of opportunities, so I am throwing it open, It is strictly on a first come basis and I will not be keeping nor reserving a slot for anyone. I will be contributing to plauses subsidy scheme at the end of the month by Gods grace 8 Likes |

OK... The free GRE went to Adazlolly when I finally roll of my bed I'm going to do it, I will also subsidize 2/3 other peoples GRE/TOEFL by 30% or so percent by registering it at #250 to $1. My whole budget for this thing is $400-$450 . between paying bills and some serious flexing here it doesn't leave much extra. So I am going to stick to guys who mailed me first. Ipledge, chinewon88 and Venek . as a special concession to lagoismyhome (I'll see what I can do about teekay) . I am not paying for this alone I am been supported by a female NL'der also studying here that has chosen to remain anonymous and also another friend from UMBC . pls remember us in your prayers 23 Likes 3 Shares |
