Citizens wey at least half dey deep rooted in tribalism. People are defending tinubu despite his handling and you believe those ones go join you?
Yes that is the problem I am talking about as there is disunity in the country.

The citizens will not come and vote because to them its just pure business between two countries... U know in this country...the system is bleeped...and the normal slang they know is that...the masses will survive..
They will as that will be their last resort to bring in a Government that havecthem at heart.

The government will sell it to other countries...and make money out of it...in the end na still we the citizens go suffer am...
If they decide to be doing that then they should wait for the citizens of the countries they see selling to to vote for them when elections comes.

If we all stop buying petroleum products will that reduce the price of food in the market?
Let's sort out the petrol aspect first and see its ripple effect.

It's not possible, fuel is highly needed for our daily businesses, maruwa I was taking 300 is now 400 immediately after the price increase.
Yes it is needed but can be done away with if the citizens are committed. Nothing is impossible.

It will lead to economic breakdown and subsequently war. Major aspects of production is controlled by availability of fuel. It might interest you to know, electricity generating companies also use fuel and hence we all rely on the particular consumption of crude One way or the other...

If crude starts to sell @ 2000 naira today (which will still happen anyway) Nigerians and neighboring countries will have to adjust after several complaints.
It appears the black man always want to exploit negative situations to make profits instead of fighting those negative ideas or strategies. For instance, the moment a products cost increases, you have an army of funny people ready to add and exploit those situations.
The Nigerian economy is broken already. He that is down needs no fall.

Boss you and me know that can't happen, you've forgotten some people voted this bad government is this those ones that will decide with u, and with the way things are harder many people would not want to risk it so they'll just say there's nothing they can do but to find money to buy, these politicians are heartless.
Yes we are not united that's why it can't happen

How will the government reduce a private businesses product price they can only give subsidy which is what they should be doing until the country refinery is working
The only action this government needs is violence not closing of my business
Violence won't work as they will send soldiers after the people.
If all the citizens decide not to patronise buying fuel, the Government will look into it.

We won't survive
A major part of the country depends on fuel for their business e.g transporters and entrepreneurs
The government should diversify them to solar and CNG only then will we be free from this mess
The businesses should go on break till the petrol is reduced.
If people don't buy fuel for sometime the Government will have no choice than to reduce it.

Dangote refinery and nnpcl are private businesses sadly they are the only ones available
The only way we can change our politicians is to make their lives miserable in this country
Won't we still survive if we all decide not to buy fuel?
BusinessI Am Just Thinking What If All Nigerians Decide Not To Buy Petroleum Products by guobe(op): 8:50am On Sep 04, 2024
I am just thinking that with the extravagant cost of buying fuel in Nigeria, with a litre of fuel selling above a thousand naira, what happens if all Nigerians decide that they won't buy that petroleum product at that amount and that the Government should keep the petroleum to themselves and be using it alone for themselves and their family frolicking around Nigeria .
Alas it won't happen as majority of Nigerians love suffering and smiling and are not united and you will see them bringing religious and tribalistic connotations into it.
As a country we are not united and the politicians knows this and will continue using it against its citizens.
It is absolute madness for fuel to sell at above 1,000 naira and exchange rate to be 1600 naira to a dollar and more than 2000 naira to a pounds sterling.
They increased the cost of international passport so that people can't travel out and the nurses verification portal is not functioning so that nurses will not japa.
With the way things are now in Nigeria, alot of people are ready to jump into the red sea just to leave the Current hell we are in presently.
