It's true, but non of this current Nigerian league club can be compared with Enyimba that year who happens to be the only Nigerian club that won a continental competitive trophy twice if i am not mistaken.
The last time we compete well was Kano pillars n Heartland fc who made it to caf cl semis which Heartland qualified to the finals but unfortunately lost to Tp mazembe on that nonsense away goals rule which need to be scrapped.
Imagine Plateau United beating those African side 4-1 at home only to end up losing 3-0 away, where is the seriousness?
