Wishing everyone on nairaland a merry Christmas and a prosperous year ahead . May everyone be strong financially and in good health. It's going to be a blissful year ahead for every sincere and hardworking men and women. With persistence we shall all achieve our heart desires this coming year. The human brain is the greatest gift from God to us and if we are able to tap one tenth of it,there is nothing we will not be able to achieve as it will take us to any level we want to . Also honesty is the best policy as it should always be our motto in life. Cheers to all nairalanders and wishing you all a happy Christmas once again. |

Agentsalt: Up untill today istill give glory to God for saving my life and that of my colleague. Iwas part of those people that were the first set to start selling GOTV decoder in UYO. One faithful day a customer bought a decoder, and he wanted me to come help him install the decoder in his house, on getting there i succeeded in connecting the the decoder but the signal was not strong enough. So he brought out a long metal pole so we can hang the antenna for a strong signal. After we were done fixing the antenna and was about raising it up to put in a hole i dug,It was as if something told me to look up,hold and behold high tension wire was above me which i almost struck with the d pole iwas holding....na so i jejele drop the pole for ground park my bag waka commot from the man compound without explaining wat happened. Lucky you |

Nazgul: The problem about appreciation towards Nigerians is that when you stop, wahala go de cos they've already started seeing it as their rights.
You see teachers, gate men...just pay them their salary and leave them alone. If you want to appreciate them, increase their pay. For teachers, employ them to take your kids private lessons. But giving them extra money would make them condition their mind towards that money to the point that when it stops coming, they'll change their attitude towards you. Your kid will stay in their class for just one year and certainly nobody can force you to give them money as you can always blank them |

Nazgul: That's not the job of the parents but the job of the school management.
After paying inflated school fees, lessons, buying test books...etc, you're now expecting them to take care of teachers employed by the school...who does that? Not really taking care of the teachers but showing appreciation in your own little way if you have to spare. |

It's Xmas and it's time to show love across the world. It's a giving season and I think it will be wise to gift the aunty's and uncles teaching your kids if you have spare just a token as a sign of appreciation for a job well done. Guiding kids for 6 hours every day for a year is not an easy task and parents know what they go through on this short holiday when the kids are at home. We are the world, let's make it a better place. |

mankan2k7: When my mum went to d market to buy food stuffs like garri, plantain etc. I and my other two brothers will quickly take significant portion of the items to go and hide it so that we can be eating it alone.
This blessed day, my mum brought a bunch of unripe plantain, as usual I quickly cut like 6 pieces to hide. And if u don't hide it well, my brother will take it and will not give u back.
I thought of a better place to hide my 6 pieces of banana so that when it ripe, I can eat it alone. The best option for me was to go and hide it in the ceiling. I climbed using the ladder through d man hole🕳. When I got into d ceiling, it was different from the ground, I don't know how to navigate, neither do I know where to put my leg. I just put a leg on the asbestos thinking I can work on it like a super man, that was how I fell from the ceiling to the floor of the house 🏠. The asbestos was totally shattered. I was thoroughly beaten that day and I was not giving food for that night. I was in primary 4 then. Lol super funny |
