You seem to be a good listener and a patient one too. Never quick to condemn anyone for their flaws. I quoted you last week to get more clarification on the 9/11 incident and your response was void of insults. Pls keep it up.

Why don't you look up the definition of the word antivenin before responding ignorantly? Antivenin or Antivenene is a biological product (antiserum) used in the treatment of venomous bites. It contains antibodies against specific poisons especially those in the venom of snakes.

To make it easy to understand, It's me saying to the op, "give your dog Panadol", and you replying "Paracetamol you mean".

Ignorant!

Easy bro. He probably thought it was autocorrect error from ur phone, and wanted to clarify for other peoples benefit.

Ur response would have been wonderful if u had simply educated him without using harsh words.

I also just learnt of antivenin from you right now.....same as many others too.

Crime / Re: 18-Year-Old Girl Remanded In Prison For Threatening Her Boss Over Unpaid Salary by GURION: 11:16am On Jun 19, 2017
winkmart:
An 18-year old former sales girl, Angela Uzordima has been arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrates court for allegedly sending threat text messages to her female boss and popular socialite, Folayo Adeola over N6000 salary debt.

According to PM Express, the teenager has since been remanded in prison custody after she failed to meet her bail condition. It was gathered that the embattled sales girl finished her secondary school and started working as a sale girl at Adeola’s boutique located at Duduyemi street, market bus stop in Egbeda.

It was learnt that they agreed on a monthly salary of N9,000 before Angela traveled to her village for a burial.
According to Angela, before she traveled, Adeola only gave her N3,000 out of her N9,000 salary remaining N6,000 only.
She said when she returned from the burial, Adeola had employed another worker while she asked her the balance of her salary but she refused to pay her.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that following the refusal by Adeola to pay her, she wrote threat messages through her phones and gave the complainant her account number at Fidelity Bank Plc.

She warned the complainant that if she did not pay the money, Adeola’s family will face danger.

The complainant became afraid that Angela knew much about her family and she might plan something evil against the family.
According to Adeola, “when I received the text messages, I contacted my husband in Abuja who immediately contacted the police at Idimu Command.”

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the police tracked Uzordima through the bank and arrested her and took her to the station.

At the station, she admitted that she sent the text messages and explained that she worked for Adeola but she refused to pay her. However, the police insisted that she committed an offence and charged her before the court under the Criminal Code.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr A.O Ogbe granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum. She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.

The matter was adjourned till July 2017.

No he didn't. He would have been world-famous if he did. He remains unknown officially.

Although researchers with the aid of video scrutiny, believe he worked as a chef in a restaurant located in the building (can't remember it's name). His family confirms this too.

Like you said...to you.

Russia does not believe Bashir Assad's airstrikes kills mainly civilians (item 2 on ur list) or that he is using chemical weapons too.

Conspiracy theorists swear that the lunar landings were fake (item 13 on ur list).

Iran officially does not believe that Jews suffered genocide (item 15 on ur list).

What of our own Chibok girls abduction?

What should be done each time some people refuse to believe certain events? Break their heads

To each man their own opinions/beliefs jare. I ain't even debating such beliefs with anybody.

Sea Cucumber

An ocean-floor dwelling creature, Sea Cucumbers have two admirable abilities. First, they can literally spill their guts when threatened. Their insides are sticky and are meant to trap the attacker. Second, Sea Cucumbers have a compound in their tissue called collagen, which can change from liquid form to solid form and back again. This ability allows them to liquefy their bodies and pour themselves into a crack in a rock where they then solidify again

Awesome! Terminator 3 levels!

Reminds me of a sniffer dog I encountered while disembarking a plane in one airport. Sooo big and takes it's sniffing duty seriously....but not mean/aggressive.

Couldn't help but ask the oyinbo handler if I could pet the dog.

I was so carried away with petting him....the handler had to ask me to allow the dog continue it's job.

Hope I didn't make the dog lose it's job

ChangeIsCostant:
A Nigerian man has been left "heartbroken" after putting down his dog by the help of a veterinary doctor. According to him, the 14-year-old dog was killed because he didn't want it to eventually suffer a slow death due to its old age or end up in the hands of dog eaters. See what he shared below

http://www.nationalhelm.net/2017/03/nigerian-man-kills-his-old-dog-refuses.html

Its inevitable that "man's best friend" would die after a relatively short time...taking with it all the emotions u'v invested in it, and leaving u with a unique void no human can fill.

Exactly why I still can't bring myself to get another dog....more than 20yrs after her death.

We can do this at a discounted rate. This depends on transaction volume and frequency. There are other specific details we will require from you like receiving US bank amongst others.

We do however insist that the 1st transaction must be face to face, preferably in a bank.

Feel free to reach me via: x@gmail.com. Contact numbers will be exchanged thereafter.

Why watch if I cant partake? I love playing street football and basketball at national stadium close to me, but instead of sitting down idly to watch any of dem, I'd rather play the games on PS4 (anoda topic for onila grin )

I can only watch extreme sports like moto gp (bike racing), kayaking, wingsuit gliding, etc which I only get to practice wen I travel.

Career / Re: How To Look Busy At Work Without Really Working by GURION: 11:58am On Jun 24, 2016
Cieno:
Whether or not you are getting your work done, it’s important to look busy. If you look like you’ve got a lot of downtime at work, people might think you are expendable; here are some great tips to looking really busy, even if you’re not . .

1. Always walk around the office briskly and Often with a sense of urgency.
It doesn’t matter where you’re going: a meeting, the bathroom, or on some random stroll around the office. When you walk the halls, keep a brisk pace. If someone tries to stop you for a chat, give that person a quick hello or wave without missing a step. You’re too busy to talk and can’t waste one second lollygagging around.

2. Always keep a stack of paper or binders in your hand while away from your desk

The papers can be blank, or the binder empty. It doesn’t matter. No one will know. Better yet, stuff the papers into the binder. Either way, it will look like work. This is especially important when hanging out at a coworker’s cubicle or workstation. An armful of paper makes it looks like you’re talking about work when you’re really just talking about how wrong America was for not choosing your favorite person to win the Voice.

3. While at your desk, run the tape on your adding machine with random calculations (if applicable).
Not only does it make you look busy, it makes you sound busy. Rip the tape off and sigh loudly every few minutes to make it seem like you’re working diligently to solve some major problem.

4. Stare intently at your computer screen.
Keep your hand on the mouse and click three quick times. Then feverishly type on your keyboard. Repeat. To be even more convincing, open an email draft and start typing stuff. Create a shopping list or something.

5. Constantly write things on Post-it notes.
This is works if you don’t use a computer at work. You can use them to jot down that shopping list or a playlist you want to create on your iPod. Perhaps you want to practice your signature or come up with a list of potential names for the kids you plan to have one day. Or, maybe you just want to doodle. Whatever you do, keep that pen moving. Make sure at the end of the day to collect all your notes. You don’t want any evidence of your busy work laying around for prying eyes.

6. Wear your glasses.
Even if they’re just for reading, keep them on. Always. And if you don’t need them, buy a fake pair. Busy people wear glasses.

7. Don’t talk. Don’t say a peep.
If a coworker calls your name, ignore her. When she comes to your desk, pop your head up from your pad of post its, computer monitor, or adding machine with a surprised look on your face. Apologize and explain how all this work has made you completely oblivious to world.

8. Use your cell phone to call your desk phone.
Answer it and carry on a fake conversation. Keep it brief and throw in a “right, yes, and ok” every few words or so. End the conversation with “I’ll get right on it”, and clumsily hang up the phone. Throw in one of those loud sighs for good measure. It seems the boss has just assigned you with yet another project that is sure to keep you busy for the rest of the day.

9. Type and Scribble Furiously
Whether you are doing actual work, finishing up your shopping list, or chatting with your mates, you should always be typing or scribbling furiously. Because you are a busy person and you need to finish this task as fast as possible to move on to the next . . .

10. Do some actual work..but not too much
Use this as a last resort. When all else fails, do a little work. But don’t spread yourself too thin! Easy there, tiger. Don’t do today what can wait until tomorrow.
