Now that Omoyele Sowore is planning a #Revolution_Now protest on October 1st, in defiant violation of his bail conditions and no one is calling him to order including Falana -his lawyer. Hope PMB won't be painted a dictator etc, if he's re-arrested.

Some people need the news of his arrest so they can masturbate to it.

GeoAfrikana:
This bullshit Naija program is so freaking obstrusive.

You can't read anything online without seeing their annoying ads.

Even on twitter, all suggestions are about bullshit Naija.

Must perversion peddlers always disturb one's life with their crap?

Same way those stupid viagra vendors disturb the neighborhood with their annoying pitches. They almost stick their crap in your nose.

Aargh!!!

Nigeria is such a lawless country.

Else, these kind of shows/people should be separated from people's normal lives. It should be restricted to the netherworlds in circle of their fellow pervs. Foreign countries that created these things effectively separated them from mainstream life.

Why should Nigeria not.

Not everyone enjoys these shows. See NL front page, it's always littered with news about this show. Even more news than national issues.

Personally, I've never opened a thread about this show ever in my life. We need to speak up and support those who also do not support this. Else many may join them because they aren't able to beat them.

Kids can't try to read/learn online without coming in contact with BullShitNG.

Finally, I find someone who's also fedup of this annoying show.

Everything about the show is sex, sex and sex. Of all the problems battling this country, a show of promiscuity is makes at least 5topics of NL FP and up to 80% of Twitter's trending topics.

The future of this country has a big question mark!

Are their sins already forgiven as Oshiomole said?

Our top floor has been under renovation for a year. No one is living there. Yet these wicked folks keep bringing bill of over 3k monthly.

They don't use the reading they take so why should I bother to save power?! Same way useless NYSC requested for our shoe sizes when they know they won't use it. Very useless system.

I'll use whatever I can afford. The only reason why I use energy saving bulbs is the low heat and aesthetics, else I'll be using 100naira bulb. I can't be paying prohibitive due monthly and still not enjoy my life.

You won't give citizens their rights but you'll be arm-twisting citizens with police, sars, customs, military, mopol, frsc etc to give government their rights.

Since independence, the thing just dey worse. Why? Why? Why? cry

Education / Re: What Do First Class Students Do That Others Dont? by gurusprout: 10:08am On Sep 29, 2020
davidadeoluwa:
cool I'm currently researching on this issue. I conducted an online survey with about 50 respondents, out of which less than 10 ( about 6) were 1st class. The distinct features about them was against popular views; 1. They're smart (they identify and utilize opportunities than the average student) 2. They're not necessarily 'intelligent' but are hardworking. The whole thing is that they don't always have the good cards (i.e intelligence) but are good players (they're smart and hardworking) NB: My findings are not concluded yet and i'm still working on getting more respondents
During my NYSC, I studied my fellow corp members who had a first class from their university and polytechnic. I also compared them to the first class students I knew in school.

One thing I found in common is that they don't leave any stone unturned. They make sure they brush every sentence in whatever materials they're given to study. They don't assume that "dey no go ask for this one".

In fact, if there's something they don't understand they go to any length to find solution. One strategy I found in common with them is they go to a senior colleague in a specialist department to get solution. For example, in the department of Geography, we took courses in surveying. My friend would go to the best student of estate management (we didn't have surveying department in OAU at that time) to teach him the complex topics in surveying.

The same thing applies to those I met during my NYSC, if an engineering student was having problems with any calculation he would humble himself in front of a first class colleague in mathematics to teach him.

So, they also knew how to network.

They weren't extra brilliant. It just seems that academic excellence is their source of dopamine.

[s]Dear Serious Nigerian citizens that don't watch BBN, I know we have been so much distraction to you folks this period that you had to mute or even unfriend us. I just want to inform you that BBN is over and you have from now till about this time next year to:

Buy that house in Lekki BBN stopped you to buy.

Make that Investment BBN deprived you of.

Marry that woman/man that said No because of BBN.

Apply for that Visa BBN has been stopping you from.

Acquire that skill BBN won't let you acquire.

Finally have your dream car because BBN refused them to produce it.

Speak up about bad governance in Nigeria because BBN held tight to your pharynx.

Open all your business centres you couldn't open because of BBN.

Go back to school because your schools are now open.

Get all the social amenities you couldn't access because of BBN.

And many many more dear people, we apologise for the undue troubles this game has caused you.

Do remember that, you have at least another 9 months to achieve all these, because when BBN season 6 comes up next year and you begin to stress us with your many frustrations and how the game won't let you concentrate. We will then know that you are just a kill joy who remembers your problems when others are catching fun.

Till then, remain positive
Happy new and blessed week [/s]

Who stopped you from enjoying your sh*tty show?

That’s good!

My Yoruba brothers, do not cause division in the South because of some selfish politicians. South West have produced President 8yrs, V.P 8yrs.

We Niger deltans had only 4yrs (Jonathan) and we are not fools, we must complete our tenure before power moves to the South West.

They say Igbos have not built bridges across Nigeria, well that is for the igbos to answer.

Niger deltans will build good political structure with the North ahead of 2023 to complete our tenure we don’t care about the party, our people are in the major political parties.

We believe our Yoruba neighbors will support us to complete our tenure for fairness and unity.

Nigeria can not survive Boko haram and shutting down of crude oil production in the Niger delta which will result to scarcity of petro and hardship (increase in price of good and transportation)
.

God bless Nigeria

To be honest, you've spoken well. Unfortunately, Oga Jona didn't represent you people well. At all.

Otherwise, there's no reason why people would have voted out an incumbent president. Even Buhari, as rickety as his first tenure was, won a second term.

They have powers and responsibilities. It's just that, like most other Nigerian politicians and political appointees, they have become corrupt and irresponsible (and they continue to get more corrupt and irresponsible).

In SW, the only thing kings know how to do is sell hectares of land containing farms and hamlets to churches. Unfortunately, these poor people have no voice.

I disagree with you to an extent. I know Lagos very well like the back of my palm. On Ambode, I wouldn't say he did a great disservice as such cos if you understand the corrupt bureaucracy of the lawma system, it is almost occultic and the players are majorly party loyalist who are benefitting from the largess at the expense of the state government. Do you know how much those lawma guys rake in a month? Collecting minimum of N3000 from every residential flat and N5000 from commercial premises! And the money is share to a few who are allowed to operate the trucks, most of them are funders, loyalist, party faithfuls of the bourdillon clan. You can't just get a truck and be part of the FAM, you have to be something. A strong political backing especially the ruling party.

Ambode is aware of this and he knows that funding for some of the political weight also comes from this structure hence why he decided to turn the tables around. He wanted to change the approach, then the state to control it and not some political godfathers but he wasn't careful and not gradual. He didn't think it thru on his strategy. However, nobody is perfect. Apart from that the guy tried.

If I were in his shoes on waste management, I would open up the business to every and any lagosians that can afford to run a truck and reassign locations of coverage and ensure standards. That way, clean Lagos will be sustain will rebuilding the system that has been so manipulated and defrauded by these political godfathers. Although that small experience taught them not to take the operations for granted cos they have no excuse now.

Complete gibberish.

Ambode had his flaws but the problem was that. Most of those people including lawma are controlled by people tinubu chose to give the contract to.
These people believe they are baba isale and they believe the governor can't talk to them anyhow. That is how they made Lagos look like. Men above the law!
Thats why ambode wanted to dissociate himself from them. But they frustrated his movement. Some people were caught dumping refuse back on mile2 road immediately after it was cleared.
The set of people in the helm of affairs of Lagos are very desperate they'll do anything to maintain power.

Is this what you made yourself believe?

Even if it's true, who knew Ambode or whatever he's called if not Tinubu? Tinubu presented him to Lagosians so it's only right to pay tribute to whom it's due.

If he knew he didn't want to be subordinate then he should have gone to create his own platform not try to parasite on another person's hard-earned reputation.
