Thesis plus antithesis equates to synthesis.

Problem leads to Crisis which leads to Reaction which demands a Solution.

Create the problem which will lead to a crisis and national outrage.

Control the narrative. "This is the work of opposition elements out to dent the Buhari administration" and so on and so forth. You get the drift.

Profess a solution which will see your agenda being fulfilled.

To effect an unpopular policy geared towards changes that you want to foist on society you first create a crisis that will cause great public outcry.

From here you step up with your solution which will force the unpopular policies on the people

Isn't it ironic that buhari is more interested in pushing for fulani colonies in the south and middle-belt than going after the terrorist fulani?
Politics / Re: The"gotcha" Hypocrisy Against Minister Kemi Adeosun: by GworoChewinMaga: 1:28pm On Jul 11, 2018

Slayer1914:
THE"GOTCHA" HYPOCRISY AGAINST MINISTER KEMI ADEOSUN:

More facts are emmerging about the "saga" of the manufactured hypocritic saga of "forged exemption certificate" against Minister Kemi Adeosun.

Make no Mistake about it. This is political skulldudggery.

Corruption is indeed fighting back because, as Dr. Ngozi Iweal-Okonjo elloquently put it in her recent book, in Nigeria, "Fighting corruption is dangerous"

Unlike what some make it out to be, Minister Kemi Adeosun did not "skip" doing NYSC as some would make it seem.

She was not born in Nigeria. She did not go to school in Nigeria.

She was Born in 1967 in London to Nigerian Parents.

She attended her Primary, Secondary and University in the UK; And only came to work in Nigeria (Private sector) for the first time in 2002 at the age of 35 years old.

She went into political appointive Service (Ogun State Commisioner of Finance in 2011) at the age of 44 years.

If she is not entitled to exemption? Then there is something terribly wrong with our system.

We are in effect telling all men and women born to Nigerian parents in the Diaspora to come back to Nigeria for NYSC, or they should forget ever thinking about coming to the homeland of their parents to work!

It does not make sense.

She attended her Primary, Secondary and University in London; Started her career at 22 years Immediately after finishing her University Education.

Is it a reasonable expectation to expect a 22 year old to come to an unfamiliar country - because it is the land of the birth of his/her parents? - Even if at that point such a person has no firm plan to come to Nigeria to work?

I strongly argue that she is entitled to exemption from the NYSC. Absent that, then it means we are foreclosing from participation, a large swath of potentially valuable skill set endowed people. It would be foolish.

I know for sure my American Born son will never consider coming to work in Nigeria at the age of 22 years old. But I am very optimistic that with more maturity, he will see the value of coming to pitch tent back home.

Especially if the security situation and evonomy improves.

Therefore, in my opinion, the talk of Minister Adeosun "skipping NYSC" should not even arise. She did not skip NYSC.

She is entitled to be "exempted"

Now, having disposed of that, the only issue in this matter to my mind that need thrashing is: "was her exemption Certificate 'forged' "?

In answer to that, I make bold to say we do not know at this point.

But, I am willing to go on a limb to say "No. She did not forge an 'exemption' certificate".

It does not even make sense to do so. And if she does, I will consider her very very foolish in doing so.

Most likely scenario is this: She appropriately sought exemption. And because of her (or someone's) influence, somebody facilitated the exemption.

Now weither the right signature was appended to the certificate or not cannot be her burden to shoulder. She should not, in all fairness, be held accountable for something she did not do.

If she went to a printer and printed a fake exemption certificate and passes it around as her exemption certificate, then a prima faciae case of "Forgery" can be made against the Minister.

But to allege forgery against somebody who presumably applied for and got a bonafide exemption certificate issued from out of the NYSC is, to say the least uncharitable; And shows our proclivity to run down those working hard to correct the distortions in our body politic and economy.

The most important thing to me is a bonafide certificate issued from out of NYSC. She is not responsible for who signed it.

For those who are out with the "crusify her" pitch forks, how many of you are sure that your NYSC certificate was signed by appropriately designated NYSC official?

Have you check?

For me, i just collected mine and left. I have no guarantees that the appended signature was that of the appropriately designated Official.

This is NYSC discharge certificate. Talkless an exemption certificate

How is she supposed to know that her NYSC exemption Certificate has appended to it the signature of the "wrong" official?

Mind you, like I alluded earlier, the position some are taking on this matter is, in effect, foreclosing the possibility of children born to Nigerians in the diaspora from ever coming to work in or for Nigeria in the later stages of their lives.

Do we want to travel that route just to score cheap political points? Or do we want to keep the possibility that some of these Men and Women born to us in the Diaspora can some day come and contribute to our nation's developement?

Finally and in closing. Minister Adeosun should never ever resign. She is one of the most effective Ministers in this administration.

The nay sayers and corrupt skulldudggers are doing this because of the effective work she is doing. They want to weaken the President by picking off his key Ministers.
[/s]

The Presidency in conjunction with Tinubu are behind Kemi-Gate.

The Presidency wants her out over the PMS subsidy fraud.

Tinubu has since nominated her replacement. Tinubu was given the privilege of nominating her soon to be successor to placate him ahead of 2019 elections.

The woman can not be described as a victim as she is equally corrupt rather see her as a sacrificial lamb offered by both the Cabal over her handling of the FAAC disagreement stemming from NNPC "under-recovery" fraud and greedy ass Tinubu who wants to both upstage Amosun and have a stooge at the Ministry of Finance.

She is a victim of APC hypocrisy and Afonja betrayal - but that doesn't stop the fact that she forged an NYSC exemption certificate.

So in summary the success of NIMC will not be beneficial to the north. Amazing!

Exactly.

I have a friend in the north who was refused registering at the NIN centre.

He was told openly to change his state of origin to the northern state or else he wont be captured. This discussion came after I showed him my NIMC card. I adviced him to go to either Abuja (preferably) or his state to register as even if he complies with the ab0ki staff in Katsina they will still not release the card to him after it is printed.

Also, many Nigeriens are using the NIMC bio-metric capture to fully assimilate as Nigerians in the northern centers.

I have been begging every one I know in the south to go and register but they wont still listen.

Another thing to note is that the NIMC card has an expiration date and on expiration, the holder is expected to pay for a renewal.

The first card is paid for by both the Federal govt and MasterCard.

FG is responsible for bio-metric data capturing which they foward to Mastercard who print the cards and maintain a database of registered holders.

The FG is claiming they cant afford to print NIMC cards is a big fat lie.

Ahmeduana:

ANY PROGRAM THAT THE NORTH COULD OR CANNOT INFLUENCE OR MANIPULATE THE PROCESS WILL BE KILL OR FRUSTRATE!

The NIMC card which I have since collected has a MasterCard chip.

It is a very sophisticated piece of technology as the original intents by the last administration is to have the NIMC card replace all existing forms of identification (Voters card, passport ,Drivers licence, etc) and ATMs.

The NIMC card can not be duplicated like the way Jega did with his useless PVCs.

If the NIMC card was universally distributed the following would be obvious

1. The north's population lie. If you like import every Sahelian from Chad, Mali and Niger - they will not match the population of the south when combined with the existing northern population. NIMC database would have exposed this glaring truth. Southerners residing in the north who wish to register for NIMC are told openly to declare their state of origin as the northern state or refuse getting captured.

2. If the NIMC card replaces Voters card then electoral rigging, child voting and ballot stuffing will be a thing of the past. This reason is why the Buhari govt has since declared that the FG has no money to issue the permanent cards even though MasterCard is heavily subsidizing the exercise in Nigeria as they stand to gain in future when the cards are used as transaction mediums.

3. The NIMC card removes responsibility of printing voters card from INEC. This will affect northern rigging machinery.

This is why Buhari killed NIMC

Correct!. This is how it is done in the west.

A govt appointee resigns over a minor misdemeanor or extra-marital scandal. The underlining reasons are that he or she was edged out for not playing ball. The misdemeanor is set as a warning and if the individual does not honorable go silent into the night, more serious corrupt cases are reeled out.

Behind any resignation over a misdemeanor in the West, know that more serious scandals were pending.

The Cabal is just playing their first Card on Kemi and if she refuses to resign all hell will be let loose on her.

Very good observation. Which is why I never bothered myself about Kemi's NYSC scandal. The terrorist in Abuja are up to something.

Apart from being a forger and perjurer Kemi is also highly corrupt as Minister of Finance.

The Cabal wants to get rid of her and they easily could have nailed her with several hundred corrupt dealings she has been involved in since being appointed Minister but they rescinded on this path because it will not only set a very bad precedence on not only the saintly cabinet of Buhari but also negatively affect investor confidence and lead to an irreparable damage of Nigeria's financial sector and regulatory bodies. Also there is the fun-fact that most of Kemi's sundry and shaddy dealings will definitely implicate them as well.

This is where the certificate scandal became handy.

Falana is known to make a meal out of every thing and he reacts to about any scandal or revelation(whether true or not) as long as it is directed at the opposition.

This same Falana sued the Presidency, Nigerian Airspace Management Authority and the Ministry for Aviation for a delaying his flight over Presidential movement. This was back when GEJ was president.

How come we haven't heard anything from Falana?

Then there is SERAP who are so fixated over Diezieni and Patience Jonathan that they have been going to court to seek an order to arrest and put on trial these two women over alleged corruption and embezzlement. This same SERAP in-conjunction with Falana above made so much noise during Odua-Gate, how come they are now suddenly mute over Kemi-Gate?

Then there is MURIC... In short that one-man radical Islamic movement is not even worth a mention.

So can somebody explain to me why this double standards by Falana, SERAP and MURIC?

Governors accuse NNPC of inflating fuel subsidy figures, demand probe from 2015

State governors have alleged an inflation by almost 50 per cent in the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) figures on petrol consumption and demanded a probe of oil subsidy payments from 2015 till date.

After a meeting with the Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Wednesday night, the governors told State house correspondents that the NNPC has almost doubled the figure of daily consumption of petrol from 33 or 35 million litres to 60 million litres.

“On the issue of cost recovery otherwise called subsidy, the issue of subsidy resurfaced again after the efforts of Mr. President. Before now the oil was $40 per barrel and now it is about $78 a barrel, so therefore they are depending largely on importation,” the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum and Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, said.

“Therefore, the cost is higher than what they are selling at the filling station and they need more money. When there was no cost recovery, the NNPC clearly gave us the number of 33 and 35 million liters per day as the consumption of Nigeria.

“But now that with the new regime of cost recovery, NNPC is claiming daily consumption of 60 and 65 million liters per day? Which we rejected and said no.

“So many of our international partners are saying that even if we are feeding Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and Niger, we cannot consume more than 35 million liters per day. So we are wondering where the 60 million liters is coming from. We are trying to sort that one out, that one is not yet resolved.

“At the same time, NNPC is making payment on behalf of Nigeria on Cash-call contribution and also the NNPC is making payment of cash call arrears of Nigeria’s contribution. Our main concern is that in 2015, they said about $16.8 billion which is outstanding was not paid by the last administration and they negotiated it down to $5.1 billion according to them.

“What we said specifically is that they should bring to us how much they have paid from 2015 to date and what is outstanding. And we directed they stop payment until the claims are proven and then we can give further directives,” Mr Yari, said

Speaking as chairman of the Governors forum, Mr Yari also informed correspondent that since the NNPC indicated “porous borders” as the reason for the increase in petrol consumption, they have also directed all petrol stations less than 10 kilometres to the nation’s borders be immediately shut by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) until they are recertified.

“We are now taking a very hard decision, that because NNPC said the reason why they were lifting 60 million per day is because our borders are porous, so we have taken the decision that any filling station that is 10 kilometers on the border side should be closed by DPR. And, then we will do recertification according to the needs,” he said.

The chairman also said the governors directed the Minister of Finance to collaborate with the DPR and the NNPC to put tracking devices on every truck in order to monitor fuel discharge.

“Because, we are suspicious of the number, we cannot confirm the difference from 30 million liters per day consumption to 60 and 65 million liter per day consumption. So these are our decisions on the NNPC,” he said.

The governors also demanded that the NNPC must henceforth clearly differentiate its earnings in sales as against taxes before remitting funds to the Federation Account to avoid unexplained shortfalls.

Other governors at the closed-door meeting were Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom, Godwin Obaseki of Edo, Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa , Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna and Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi states.

The meeting, which ended a few minutes after 8p.m, was also attended by the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udo Udoma, and a representative of the NNPC Group Managing Director.

Premium Times did not just one day decide to go dig in on Kemi's NYSC claims but rather got a tip-off from a very credible and highly placed source within the Presidency.

Premium Times stated that their investigations into Kemi's NYSC certificate scandal began sometime in early April of this year.

The current "under-recovery" fraud claim being perpetuated by the NNPC first reared it's head in March. The excuse presented by the NNPC management over the significant short fall of oil reciept revenue to the Federation account did not sit up well with governors across the nation as there was a unison bi-partisan rejection by governors of the 36 states to this excuse made by the NNPC.

One of the most, if not most powerful men in Buhari's cabinet , Abba Kyari is currently on the BOT of the NNPC. He is believed to be the real substantive Minister of Petroleum and Buhari's confidant and adviser into the oil industry.

The Department of State Security (DSS) are the ones who provided the tip off to Premium Times as they are the ones who vetted and screened and gave her a clean bill which they submitted to both the President and National Assembly for nomination and confirmation respectively as Minister of Finance. If anyone will know about Kemi's certificate forgery it is the DSS!

The National Assembly has no hand in Kemi's on-going NYSC forgery case as NASS only works with submissions from the DSS. This is why the same Senate refused to confirm Magu as substantive EFCC chair based on the DSS report submitted to it.

Screening of Presidential appointees is done public and members of the public are encouraged to submit their reservations on the confirmation of any such nominated candidate.

To even blame the opposition is ridiculous to say the least ad they would have used the Senate screening to disgrace Kemi if they knew about her NYSC certificate forgery.

Kemi's travails began when she refused to accept the NNPC's official "claims of under-recovery" which the latter claimed was reason behind the short-fall of crude oil sales remittance despite a surge in both oil output locally and a rebound in cost of crude in the international market. The claim that NNPC was subsidizing on it's own without budgetary provisions the pump price of PMS was a scandal on it's own. The powerful cabal had expected Kemi to at least support the subsidy narrative but rather she openly rejected the NNPC claims and agreed to set-up a panel consisting of commissioners of finance and Governors across the Nation to investigate the NNPC claim.

In-short Kemi-Gate is a ploy by the Cabal to get rid of Kemi as Finance Minister and replace her with someone else who will be able to help them conceal the massive fraud currently going on at the NNPC.

In as a much I have no single fcks to give over Kemi's current predicament as it is obvious she is guilty of both forgery and pejury, it is important to note here that the scandal is not the doing of the NASS or opposition figures trying to blackmail Kemi as the Zombies of BMC have been shouting since the scandal broke, but rather Kemi's travails are the handwork of very powerful people within the Presidency and NNPC, who as things appear, have the full backing of the President himsel

The only body that should get such tax is the Federal Govt through NCC as they have the sole rights on Nigerian airwaves to which they allocate bandwidths.

Kemi Adeosun was explaining why she had to increase tarrifs on imported antibiotics and Malaria drugs

She was speaking in her usual fake courtney ascent bandying all sort of big economic jargon which she doesn't even understand as the reason behind her stupid policy.

The fall out of her stupidity is that the cost of essential Malaria treatment drugs and antibiotics have soared over 400% and is far out of within the reach of the average poor Nigerian who survives on less than $2 a day.

Under this fraudulent cun.t, Nigeria has overtaken Indian as the country with the highest number of most desperate people.

The implications of her disastrous policy on imported medical drugs will lead to a major public health issue and see infant mortality rates due to common Malaria soar.

This is why you should NEVER EVER EVER! assign an accountant to do the job of an Economist.

Politics / Lagos Does NOT Have The Right To Charge For Radio And TV Liscence by GworoChewinMaga: 12:51pm On May 21, 2018
The first time Radio and TV licensing was introduced in Nigeria was in the old defunct Western Region and this was after the setting up of the first TV broadcasting station in Ibadan. The reasons behind the TV licence was because the then state owned and financed TV and Radio station will partly be funded through this licence regime as they were the only and sole broadcasters in their time.

The licencing fee was applicable because Nigeria at that time operated regional form of governance.

With the coming of the Federal govt and the setting up of institutions like the NCC, who are solely to monitor and regulate Nigerian airwaves, I see no reason why Lagos which does not have any statutory responsibility in regulating the Nigerian Airwaves, will be taxing people for owning and operating a TV set when they (Lagos state) are neither in control of the airwaves or the content that is being broadcast.

Lagosians are however the dumbest people in Nigeria and they will not challenge this gross extortion by the thugs in Alausa but will quickly rush to pay up like the mugus they are.

This is why they support ISIS in every leftiod liberal circles. And FYI, so-called progressive politics as proclaimed by the liberal movement is nothing but communism shrouded in a veil of tolerance and equity.

And as you know communists abhor Christianity and Judaism for the fact that these two religious orders are against a man-made one world govt.

The Jews will forever remain Jews and will never assimilate for the sake of one world governance as this is against the dictates of their religion. Same applies to true christians apart from catholics who happen to be nothing less than a cult of shaitan

This is why liberal politics is attacking Christianity and the age long moral code by redefining morality to appease to modernity while their aim is to destroy the very fabric of society, strip the gullible of their inherent cultures and from there impose Islam.

This is why Nigeria must remain one in the eyes of the globalist who have turned Nigeria to their putrid dish of multiculturalism experiments.
