Literature / Re: Who Is Your Best Novelist? by GypsyLady: 3:22pm On May 29, 2007
it would be hard for me to mention just one writer.
there was a time it was harold robins, then it became sidney sheldon and then grisham, later it was chase, not forgeting my romance writers like elizabeth lowell(so many of them). they are far too numerous.
let me just say that i enjoy good novels by great story tellers(authors).
Romance / Re: Can You Fart In The Presence Of Your Lover? by GypsyLady: 10:58pm On Apr 21, 2007
it depends on the level your relationship is.
if you guys are still on the "forming" levels then its hell, no!, no way man!
but if you've passed that stage, i mean you guys have seen it all, done it all then its only natural that you both fart in each other's presence.
i often hold conversations with my hubby while on the toilet seat. we are that comfortable with each other. i mean it cant be any other way.
na the levels matter. cheesy

i'm delighted for you, please follow your dreams, i know this must have been in your heart for sometime, and you actually could have done it before now but you kept putting it off.
i want to believe you're about to actually do it NOW
come on man, you can do it.
yes its a lot of hard work but since when did hard work kill anybody?
i am impressed by your write-up, it speaks of intelligence and i believe that YOU CAN DO IT
good luck, brother.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Why Is Thierry Henry Mediocre In Major Tournaments? by GypsyLady: 8:08pm On Jul 04, 2006
i've been following this thread and most threads on the sports forum silently for a long time and i want to say that i sense a "clark kent" and "superman" on the sports forum. one man is a staunch supporter of the other.
anyone feel me?

that aside, i feel guys should be courageous enough to stand by their posts and admit it when they make a blunder. time and time again we are told football aint no maths, not even arithmetics. grin we should have this at the backs of our mind when predicting, football is highly unpredictable and on the night, in the feild of play sometimes evrything turns out differently from what is on paper.
soooooooooo glad brazil is out. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy for me, it doesnt matter who wins it now.

Family / Re: Is There Any Man Who Hasn't Ever Cheated On His Wife? by GypsyLady: 7:46pm On Mar 28, 2006
@ rhodalyn, you are probably very correct. if its cheating with the eyes then even more women too would be found guilty. cheesy

at larger-20,
you're right, i guess i annoyed him that night but that was the whole purpose seeing as i was mad with him. inwardly i was elated to have him confirm what i had always believed( that he doesnt cheat).

wish i knew how to insert a quote from previous page.

@ chinani, girl i feel you.
in the heat of an argument, one evening, my husband shouted down at me.
"i have been married to you for 4years, 4 soild years and not once, i repeat not once have i cheated on you"
"so you want a trophy for that"? was my sharp reply.
of course he was only doing what is expected of him.
the vows are meant to be kept.

i have never cheated either and i dont go wearing it on head like a crown or something. cheesy cheesy
