Hi guys, hope you guys didn't miss me much well, to prospective UK students, be careful with ur choice of course, not all that glitters is gold here oh, don't go with just whats written on school page about a course, if possible connect with a present student and no if the course would meet ur expectations, I'm writing this because I'm having regrets already, doing msc environmental management and I'm already wishing I did more active/practical course. Its not entirely a bad course, just that I imagined something different in my head, just be careful, thats my advice, u guys stay safe, cheers!

yea there have been lot of jobs out here especially Care and support jobs. You will surely find something doing out here if you aren’t lazy! Middlesbrough is very cheap mehn! I can say it’s even cheaper than some part in Nigeria! You can get a very good apartment for 180 pounds per month which is less than 100k! Food items are considerably cheap too. When you start earning in pounds things will be more cheaper for you considering when you still spending the Naira u brought from Naija because every small thing u buy u go dey convert am and it would be very expensive in your eyes. In all Middlesbrough has been awesome for the couple of weeks I have used here so far.

You will need money that is easily accessible. So no fixed deposits and Treasury Bills.

Your salary has nothing to do with Tier 4 visa. Just have the required money for your tuition and living expenses in your account for 28days and you’re good to go. Good luck.

that's what people usually think but emphasises made on salary income during interview or point of entry says otherwise, don't give them any information that would make them suspect u can't afford ur studies or won't return home,that's my advice

I knew it wasn’t possible for your husband to get the visa. UK are very strict and straightforward with their rules.
I didn’t want to talk earlier but reading your update now gives me opportunity to talk.
Please, stay away from agents henceforth.
I knew the agent must have duped you for that sum of money since your husband got the visa.

They are lots of trusted agents who help with admission process. Some don’t charge a fee while some charge very little.
The agent might have even contacted the agents that don’t charge while he keeps the whole money to himself.

The fishy part was when you said the agent told your husband to present only the HND result at the school. That was when I knew the agent used only the HND.

A friend of mine used fake documents for her study visa via agent and was banned for 10 years. She got her refusal and ban letter last week so I was surprised when you said your husband got his visa.

I’m glad the agent confessed before it was too late. What if your husband forfieted the admission or requested for a refund?

Yes. He is traveling this April but school resumes March. He intends requesting for an extension from the school as we have an important family function by March.
He got the visa already. Was gotten last week.

Good day seniors, please I need your advice. I got phd admission at northumbria uni Newcastle as a self sponsored student but later the uni I work with here in naija approved my study fellowship with tetfund scholarship. Now my dilemma is that when applying for visa do I state that I am govt or self sponsored? Considering that northumbria uni informed me that they no longer enter sponsorship agreements with Nigerian govt. They however asked me to pay my deposit (which I did) as it will be refunded to me after tetfund pays my fees. They have already issued my cas (it states that I am self sponsored).

P.s
There is a tuition fee discount of 3k for self sponsored students. Which of the fees should I put in my visa application?

ur school stated u r self sponsored, that's what ur visa should say also, hope u have the maintenance fee and remaining fees balance already for 28days so u don't waste ur visa fee, all the best.

Three, it’s not everything we can discuss in public. People have genuine reasons to be anonymous...it could be that there’s a clash of internet here..

u can upgrade to super priority if u haven't had interview but I don't know what will happen to the priority service u already paid for

Hello gurus!
Please my visa was refused with the petty reason that my bank Fidelity Bank was unable to be contacted to ascertain that the funds were there for the 28 days duration.
However I was given 28 days to use Administrative review to prove that it was an error case scenario.
Please has anyone experience or encounter this before??.
I don’t know how best to go about this review. Is it contacting the bank or asking UKVI to provide the evidence of the number they called or something else Quite confused. Meanwhile the extension my school gave me ends on 25th of January.
Will be waiting for urgent answers pleeeeaaaseee.
