InvestmentStartup Founders, Can You Share Your First Zoom Call Experience With Investors by H100(op): 12:45pm On Nov 27, 2021
What Should I Know About First Zoom Meeting With A Potential Foreign Investor.

Somehow I am between being excited and curious. This is because I haven’t been in the tech space until creating my platform. Then I joined Clubhouse.

The truth is, I am not tech savvy. I am a business man 100% until this

It’s been amazing getting a lot of traction and interaction around it.

The motivation was to grow slowly with what I can afford which is what the startup world call going vertical but then I realized I can actually get funded and the pitch thing.

I gradually started finding the possibility interesting for something I launched in September, Now I’ll be having two zoom meetings next week to discuss my startup. Just wanna know what I should expect.

NB: These people always reach out to me first.

WebmastersIs There A Payment Gateway That Allows Ghanaians Pay To Naira Account Using GHC? by H100(op): 2:29pm On Aug 24, 2021
Abeg ehn, do you know if any payment platform where Ghanaians can pay in their currency and we have it here in Naira bank accounts.

I have communicated with Paystack and it seems I have to go get a GHC account in order to get payments from Ghana.

On the other hand, that requires going to Ghana, get a resident permit and open a bank account.

I am building a webapp for my business and I really want to enjoy the Ghana market, but like Nigeria, their card transaction amount are capped too.

Please I need help oo.

Career‘Oladayo Timothy, MD Ressortir Global Is After My Life’ - Gideon Okoli Cries Out by H100(op): 4:00pm On Aug 14, 2021
So, This morning, a very close friend who amicably resigned from his job mid July wrote to my inbox,
I had earlier read his posts on both Twitter and Instagram concerning threat to the life of him end his family.

My family and I are currently being harassed by a man who believes that his money can help him intimidate and stifle the life of a young family to satisfy his puffed ego.
I appeal to you reading this to stand for justice, fairness and due process. I am a young man with a wife and daughter of less than 3 years old doing all I can to protect and provide for my family.
I took a job with Ressortir Investment Nigeria Ltd, owned by Mr Ogunleke Oladayo(Mr Dayo) as a Marketing Executive. However, I ended up handling virtually all operations in the company as I dedicated myself to help build his company. I worked diligently and never did him wrong.
I resigned from his company on July 17th 2021, having experienced a lot of emotional, mental, and physical harassment and torture.

He bid me farewell and afterwards started making frivolous accusations and further submitted a petition to the Lagos State CID, Yaba.
I was invited and I honoured the invitation, only to see a thousand and one lies which I responded to with necessary evidence.

The next action was to illegally send armed men in military uniform to my house on 2nd August 2021, at about 10pm with the aim to kidnap or murder...
me and my family in cold blood. This happened after I had visited and written my statement at the SCID, Yaba, Lagos. I reported the situation to the IPO in charge who dismissed my report and told me to report to the nearest police station.
I spoke with my lawyer and a petition was submitted in this regard on the 5th August 2021 to Bariga Police Station( the station closest to my place of residence).
Yesterday, 10th of August 2021, myself and Mr Dayo, alongside our lawyers reported at the SCID as earlier agreed, he openly threatened to deal with me in the presence of the IPO.
Today being 11th August 2021, Mr Dayo covertly and illegally stormed my house with a set of 4 men in military uniform all without name tags and they came in two of his personal cars (pictures attached) to kidnap me.
They first went to my wife's office at Victoria Island, Lagos, where she was harassed, assaulted and held hostage for about an hour asking her to produce me. She is still shaken from this incident and her reputation and image at work sullied.
They later left her office to my house. If the matter is already before then police who are currently investigating, where I attend whenever I am required, why does he still bring unknown soldiers to abduct me? I am aware that military men do not get involved with civil disputes
My Plea:
I appeal to you all to use whatever leverage you have as a young Nigerian struggling to survive in this country to come to the rescue of myself and my family. We have been deeply troubled by the state of things and can only appeal for necessary assistance.
f Mr Dayo believes he has a good case he should respect the rule of law and allow the case currently subsisting at the police run it’s reasonable course and let the police conduct their investigation in fairness.

PLEASE HELP ME PROTECT MY FAMILY #JusticeForGideon

TravelLegitimate Jobs Nigerians Do In Turkey by H100(op): 9:28am On Jan 01, 2021
On Leaving Nigeria for Turkey this year

Getting a job abroad is one jackpot many Nigerians would love to win.  Arguably, three out of  every five Nigerians would love to travel out of the country for one reason or the other.  For our younger generation, there has to be a way out for a stable greener pasture as the economy continues to choke enterprising citizens and graduates with unemployment, insecurity, lack of power and other basic provisions.

Recently, Turkey has also become a kind of solace, safe haven and host for thousands of Nigerians. thousands of Nigerians live and have now settled in Turkey after feeling stagnated, unfulfilled or frustrated. Example is Ikechukwu William Ndubuisi, A popular procurement agent in Turkey (with Business name, Turkey Errand Boy), A one time Student Union President, represented South-East Nigeria at the National Mathematics competition for colleges and Polytechnics in 2013, Found his foot on the 3rd year of arrival in Turkey due to language barrier, and other personal factors, also suggested, he may be left with praise singing for politicians for daily bread had he not travelled despite graduating with distinction. A likely and similar tale of graduates in the country.

For many Nigerians in Turkey, The progress of their  Turkey based friends or relative gave them the urge to choose the country, while for some others, it would be a transit to Europe, As was the case early in 2020 when Turkey had rift with the European Union and decided to open it's boarders to allow camped refugees out of it's responsibilities, You can always bank on smart Nigerians on news like this.

For those who stay, what's next? There are basically within my knowledge more than the 4 legitimate Jobs listed average Nigerians could do in the country.

Menial Jobs - Known as çabuk çabuk in Turkey, pronounced as shabushabu.

Shabushabu simply means quick quick, this is the Turkish principals way of making you focus and hasten up while at work. these jobs ranges from doing menial jobs in production industries like cutting fabrics, sealing nylon, serving mason, etc. For the truth, it is not a well paying Job. And over 50% of Nigerians in Turkey has to go through this.

Teaching

The question here is how do you teach when you don't speak Turkish but that is not the case. You can actually be employed to teach English in schools without knowing how to speak Turkish. The idea is to make sure that all your communication with students are done in English as the country works to enlighten her younger generation more to understand events outside the country.  On the average, the pay is sustainable with around $400 and above as salary, some will always think it's ok to start with..

Procurement Agents

This is arguably the biggest legitimate offer for Nigerians in Turkey, Basking and benefiting from the non-regulation of this market which contributes handsome lot to the Turkish economy, the only challenge as a Nigerian is your character, reputation and trust level back home.

The question is, who will trust you enough to send you their money to buy for them, do you think you can deliver? can you walk under severe cold to  source and buy for clients?. If your responses are good to go, You're qualified. Like for Turkey Errand Boy, The reliability and trust he enjoys stems from his attitude and composure back home, the people who know him personally will tell you more of him being a contented and carefree person who never bows to peer pressure, then once featured on Ubi Franklin's COVID-19 lockdown live sessions on Instagram titled 'Pitch with Ubi' Turkey Errand boy was also able to get his acts together asking Ubi, he would prefer his business exposure above the 2000$ price money up for grabs. Talking to Ubi, Everyone learnt that Turkey Errand Boy is a personal shopper(procurement agent) in Turkey who could help buy and ship clothes in wholesale, furniture sets, etc

Mind you, it's not as easy as a whisk of the finger. the competition is stiff but the remuneration is  quite better than the two listed above as this is also dependent on your client capacities. Procurement agents can grow into full time shipping companies, For instance, Star Cargo was just a Chukwuma Muogbuo,  buying things for people and has been in the business for approximately 8 years.

The Work of God

Many will not expect this to come in, But churches do well in Turkey as there are only a few. Turkey is a liberal Islam nation who do not interfere in people's right to worship but the challenge many young churches face is the lackluster attitude of Nigerians towards church activities. After all, nobody compels the other to go to church neither is the fear factor that drain many Nigerians in Nigeria  obtainable abroad.

Nevertheless, already established churches help vulnerable members get on their foot, most time help them get jobs, pay them stipends and help house some of them.

Note that this is not a comprehensive  list of legitimate activities Nigerians do in Turkey as some buoyant Nigerians own companies and employ compatriots too. Companies like Splendid Furniture, A leading furniture store in Nigeria employs Nigerians in Istanbul, So while businesses like Turkey Errand Boy employs staff in Nigeria, Splendid Cargo with a larger capacity employs both in Turkey and in various parts of Nigeria, including Enugu, Asaba and Lagos. Splendid furniture is credited with furnishing many luxury homes including the house of Obi Cubana and associates, receiving numerous awards both in Turkey and across Nigeria

There are hundreds of money exchange agents, those who take your naira and give you dollar or Turkish lira, A lucrative job in Turkey too. Many sales attendants in stores although filled more with neighboring countries' citizens, Nigerians still make money doing this jobs. If the count should continue, then we would add food vendors, small business owners selling African contents, mannequins and models etc.

PoliticsENDSARS: Turkish Authorities Deny Nigerians Permission For Protest by H100(op): 7:46pm On Oct 16, 2020
Some handful of Nigerians in Turkey had slated to pull a peaceful protest in solidarity and alliance with what is happening back home with dates and venue already fixed for Istanbul and Ankara but an umbrella body in an official statement on her Facebook page signaled all Nigerians in Turkey not to take law into their hands as Authorities have disapprove any of such gathering

The statement from NICOT reads

Dear fellow Nigerians, in the advent of what is going in Nigeria, which has gone global and NICOT has received many calls and messages from Nigerians in diaspora and those who are residing here to stage a protest in solidarity with our youths back home.

NICOT, understand your plight and grievances over the injustices, police brutalities, and bad governance which led to the slogan #EndSars, etc. NICOT'S President took it upon himself to have a meeting with the Turkish authority for a permission to stage a protest, but the permission was denied due to the panel code on COVID-19 measure which states that: "Staging a protect or gathering of people in a large group is highly prohibited"

It is unfortunate, that the permission was denied, but you shall be notified of any changes.

Please, be advised and adhere to the information and keep your calm.

Thanks.

A hardworking female entrepreneur lost her Millions worth of Investments to flood in Nibo, Anambra, According to 001.ng, all the efforts to get the state government for intervention has allegedly hit the wall too.

A blazing female entrepreneur who lost her means of livelihood to flood in Nibo Awka Anambra state. Her name is Cassandra Oma ndulue, the founder of Ndulue Farms and Fisheries—a Catfish farm which prior to the flood disaster was the biggest fish farm around Awka and its environs.

The farm held a capacity of between 90,000-120,000 catfishes in each cycle of production with over fifteen employees. But unfortunately, the farm was lost to flood, and an investment of over fifty million naira was lost in one day after a heavy downpour.

According to statistics, Anambra state has the highest demand for catfish in all of the southeast, considering that there are over 400 hotels and thousands of restaurants and bars whose major, most sought after delicacy is point and kill (catfish) with the capital city Awka Housing over 50% of them.

Little wonder why the demand for catfish in Anambra is always exceedingly high. But unfortunately, there are just very few functional fish farms within the state and Oma exploring the in demand opportunity.. As a matter of fact, 90% of fishes consumed in Anambra state are bought from towns like Lagos, Ijebu Ode, Eriwe, Ikorodu, Ibadan and even far Illorin.

On Mondays and Thursdays of every week, over a hundred tonnes of catfish are brought in from the west to different towns in Anambra state.

Aside from the entrepreneur who lost her means of livelihood to flood, Over fifteen employees of the fish farm in Nibo devastated by flood are now out of job.

Thorn - Wear with Pencil skirt and Bodycon dresses

Hipsters - Wear then with Pant trousers or low waist jeans

French Cut Panties - High waist Jeans goes well on this
