ghazzal: smoking is causing harm to yourself and people around you. it is bad. i have listened to people say it is as bad as suicide is but i dont think it takes your reasoning like drinking does except you smoke weed......its still smoking anyway.

but in islam, anything that causes harm to you or those around you is Bad and shunned at......... so i will only laugh at the leaders in some muslim regions who have not passed any fatua on smoking.

Sure, Smoking in islam is a sin as alcohol is. Causing Harm to ONEself is a sin in islam which is what smoking does. Buh cant b compared wit alcohol. Alcohol makes ones prayers null n void, y smoking doesn't directly do(mayb dats y som muslims smokes).. smoking is seen as a sin bcus it does damage d body gradually
