PoliticsRe: Gaddaffi's Last Formal Speech: by haitto99(m): 10:48am On Aug 11, 2014
Most arab countries need to be ruled with an iron fist, look at egypt, syria, iraq they were all stable when they had dictators, fine d dictators might have been excessive and abusive with the use of power but if saddam were to be alive, what d isis is doing in iraq won't smell broad daylight, as for gaddaffi he is and wld always be a greatman,a strong ruler should be mentioned on par with the likes of thomas sankara, gurang, lumumba, sekou toure and co,although he had his bad sides like sponsoring coups all over africa but he did well for his country and am sure 70% of lybians would be regretting their actions.....''lybia is now a failed state'' according to aljazeera

dhammyg: NICE.WHEN WILL NIGERIANS\AFRICANS LEARN THAT WHAT TWO ADULTS CHOOSE TO DO IN THEIR BEDROOM IS NONE OF THEIR BIZ.
WE AS AS AFRICANS HAVE BIGGER PROBLEMS FACING US E.G CORRUPTION.IF WE COULD PERSECUTE CORRUPT POLITICIANS THE SAME WAY WE PERSECUTE GAYS AFRICA WILL BE A BETTER PLACEwink

AND BY THE WAY DO U THINK IMPRISONING GAYS WILL MAKE THEM CHANGEhuhOR DO U THINK LYNCHING THEM WILL MAKE THEM CHANGEhuh

AND TO THOSE SAYING BEING GAY IS UNAFRICAN AND USING BIBLE\QURAN TO JUSTIFY THE CLAIM,PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT CHRISTAINITY AND ISLAM IS ALSO UNAFRICAN tongue
babe...are u high? Lemme put this straight, a mature grown man goes to america and marries two consenting females won't he be charged for bigamy? Huh? Is dat not violation of human right? Just as you said christainty and islam is unafrican GAYISM n LESBIANISM is UNAFRICAN,its what the majority of our pple want and no white anybody should enforce their culture on us,if its kept into voting today am sure 80% of nigerians would be against it,d law can't be bent to favour a few and displease d majority,at least we are praticing democracy....HABA!! Dey should luckup d gays, dey need therapy

PoliticsRe: Ilorin, The City Wrapped In A Crisis Of Identity by haitto99(m): 8:52am On Jul 31, 2014
I see dis thread hitting front page much later...ilorin was a big mistake by both afonja and the alaafin,70% of the present over one million people in ilorin are of yoruba descent and it really feels awkward to be the majority and then being ruled by a minority, nothing can be done now unless nigeria breaks or the present emir passes on,den maybe a sitting governor favourable to the yoruba cause can change things, but am so certain that no change would come without violence, bloody one

Looking at ilorin as a city, majority of its population speak yourba, the street names are majorly yoruba, although am from ondo but working in ilorin,I can fully say it that the yoruba influence in the town is thrice that of the fulanis.....its just a case of what happened in south africa,a minority ruling the majority

TravelRe: What Do You Love About Some Places And States In Nigeria? by haitto99(m): 9:01am On Jul 09, 2014
chizzy94: LAGOS; I love the opportunities it breeds, I love the hussling spirit it naturally has, it's a fun state, you can't be broke in lagos, if you happen to be, then you must be some indolent person, it gives you that 'This is Lagos' sense, YOU CAN'T BE DULL and alot others. Anything you want in Nigeria can be found in Lagos without much stress.

BENIN; the school there [Uniben precisely] is enough reason to love the state, the indigenes are some funny elements - their use of pidgin is on another level, you can also be street smart there, the weather ain't that bad too.

ILORIN; first and foremost, transportation there is very cheap and there are no traffics, the weather there is terribly sunny, OP I don't know where you got yours from, It is also very peaceful. Electricity in Ilorin is first grade, you'd beg them to switch it off.

ANAMBRA; they got quality food, it is another state that can challenge lagos commercially but it would lose sha, I travel to that state not wanting to come back, the weather there is superb, the people there are very nice and they are no ass-kissers between, ermm whatelse? They state is a nice one, just visit it someday!

IBADAN; cheap transport just like Ilorin and some affordable fare, the people are nice but can do some terribly amazing things, I can recall the case of one going into shoprite and buying JUST ONE INDOMIE and was feeling very pompous swinging the shoprite nylon, electricity there ain't that bad - the place I was atleast, cost of living is on some 'Okay' level, the people stay out late too unlike in Ilorin. It's also peaceful.

[my tour would continue some later days - Port Harcourt, Calabar and Kano are my next point of call]
you are wrong abt ilorin's power efficiency itz nt everywhere....d pple for taiwo road n sawmill area dey cry

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Teaching Vacancy by haitto99(m): 4:32pm On Jan 03, 2014
busuyem: I don't think this advert was made to humiliate any graduate for God's sake. I believe the school paid better than many schools in Ekiti as of the moment, even Ado inclusive. In as much as u can still get schools in Lagos paying graduates 30k per month, despite the demanding standard of living, I don't knw why some folks are castigating the advert. For your info, I was being paid #10,500 when I joined the school in 2010 until the pay 4 graduates was later increased to 17k, and it's still subjected to increment. Now, I have just secured govt teaching job. Teaching job is not a function of the pay but of interest. Cost of leaving in Ekiti is very low relative to other states u can imagine. A graduate collecting 10k in Ekiti State is better off the one collecting 40k in Lagos, u can ask anywhere! Pls, let those interested apply and the ones not, leave.
Meanwhile, this is my year of greatness making FP sweatlessly.
Thanks.
sent you a mail, with my no on it....wont mind we talk
