I'm in my early thirties, I make more than 1.6 million naira every month. But I feel the money is not enough for me due to my extravagant lifestyles. I wish I can cut down on some of my lifestyles. Btw, I am Full Stack Web Developer, plus I have a skill in digital analytics using (Google Analytics).

Programming / Re: Android Programing And Web Programing, Which One Is Better? by Halifaxguy: 8:52am On Aug 01, 2018
Both are good, but I will advice you to go into web development. In Web development you can choose to be a Frontend Developer , Backend Developer or Full Stack Developer. To be a Frontend Developer you should learn JavaScript, Jquery, Angular, HTML 5, CSS3. To be a Backend Developer you should learn one or more of these technologies: Java, C#, Php, Python or nodejs. A full stack developer is one that works on the Frontend and Backend of an application which means you have to learn both technologies.

If you like follow all the above stated rules, if the hiring manager does not like you, no show for you. Getting jobs these days some times lies on networking with the right persons who have a say in the hiring decision. These rules you stated do not apply in every situations.
More so, you are among those arrogant recruiters we have nowadays, why should you judge a candidate on the basis of his email address name...? Doing so is unfair to the candidate. How does email address name affects the candidate's experience and skills, so far a candidate meet the job qualification requirements, he should be given the chance to sale his candidacy.

Lol...

After reading,I have the following conclusion as a security expert to make;

It was either that the church dropped her there just for this testimony

Or

The ritual didn't work...

To cure madness hard gan!!!!

This seems like a collaboration between her and the Church. The church is looking for more members. Knowing that a lot of Nigerians are looking for miracles to escape their poverty state, this setup was a perfect situation to deceive the gullible ones.

Why did the church single out this particular lady only, when there are other mad people in the streets of owerri that needs cure or miracle. If you know you know..

Somone should please help me with a job too. So I can have issues deciding on which to pick. I'm a computer science graduate. I could do Any job that will allow me use the computer every time. Thank you.

There are lots of jobs for computer science graduates, especially those with programming and software development skills. Even for entry level software or web development jobs you need to have functional programming skills in any one or more of these languages: Java, C#, Php, Python, JavaScript, Jquery, C++ etc.
Your computer science degree will be a waste if you don't have these skills and a software project(s) to showcase to prospective employers.

sexdoll:

My friend leave dat thing Abeg.

Most of you mastering are just mastering for the certificates with the hope of getting more pay.

You are mastering to specialize in what exactly?

And yet after all the specializations we are still where we are!

Is that not a big shame?!

Paper junkies!

After wasting all your productive years trying to get your worthless BSc, you now go back to the same system to get another worthless MSc!

Does that not make you look like a capital class idiot?

Masters my _arse!

See let me tell you, instead of going for your useless masters program, why not use the time and your money too to go and master something practical... something that really works... something the society actually needs?!

Nigeria is suffering from too many frequent power outages, what can be done about that?

Our educational system is down and out, how can it be resuscitated?

The world is moving into IT, how prepared is the Nigerian youth?

Fuel scarcity still bites, what are the alternatives?

These and more should be the type of things that you should be focusing upon and not to go back to school just to acquire another useless certificate!

Very well said. B.sc ,M.sc and PhD gotten from Nigeria universities are all useless. An average graduate college diploma of mechanical engineer at one of the colleges in North America can practically tutor his Nigerian counterpart with M.sc holder in same field of study. In the advanced world is skills over paper qualifications, but in this country is all about acquiring certificates with aim of getting office job, and with no technical know how. We really have a long way to go in this country.

I totally disagree with some of these figures,i will soon write an article which I have titled FROM THE FARM TO MY POT,i am very sure the unemployment in the north is reducing cos of some ingenious solution being adopted by some of the youths of Northern Nigeria. There is a new set of millionaires being created everyday in Northern Nigeria but NBS is not capturing them. I don't know if anyone has noticed it,but there is an increase of northerns selling raw pepper on the nook and corner of every street in Lagos, what is happening is Northerns have succeeded in creating supply which didn't exist three yrs ago,by supplying pepper to the end users they have succeeded in removing the yoruba retailers and moving the money directly to the hands of the farmer, same for onions, oranges, potatoes, beans, cabbages( all are being sold in wheel barrows on the street of lagos).
My submission is this,as much as I want to agree that the blue collar jobs are evaporating but the wise ones amongst will look, study and adapt what these northerns are doing, ignore all these NBS statics and key into what is going on around your street corner. GOD BLESS NIGERIAN, for those who want to criticize my opinion, go read Pastor E A adeboye prophecy for 2018

No matter the situations we faced in life, committing suicide is never the wise thing to do. I have faced tougher shits in this life and still passing through some hardship, but I had vowed never to take my life. At least is better to die while trying to solve your problems than committing suicide. More so, everybody should endeavor to be his brother's keeper, be a source of encouragement to people around you cos life is really hard at present.

What do my owerri people want, instead of us to be happy that the state government is relocating the market to relief along egbu road which has more capacity to accommodate traders, is well planned and not congested. Eke ukwu is not meant to be in Douglas as it causes terrible traffic along the Douglas road, couples with the bad sanitary conditions the market contributes to the town. I love O town, I support anything that will transform the city to a much better one. Lets owerri people remove politics in this one and support the state government on this very issue. Remember no pain no gain my people.

This obviously doesn't apply to Nigeria. Do you know how much $180,000 is? Please don't annoy anybody this morning.

Even in a broad you have to be a manager of a top firm to earn that. People don't earn that much in Canada & US. Infact some bachelor degree holder earns like $14-$16 per hour, which amounts to something like $40k to 46k per annum. Op next time try to be realistic. Is not easy in the real world.

Whynotthetruth:

1)Most times, the IQ of those trying to ridicule others here shows that it is purely envy and hatred poisoned living that's disturbing them...Maybe when I confront you with FACTS & EVIDENCE now, you will run as usual cheesy

2)So to you, SW pupils concentrate on their studies to succeed while SE concentrate on expo? Even when "Oluwole" is a Yoruba word with a PROMINENT location...Aside Osun state, I can personally discuss ALL SW states... because I have been to ALL...can you do same for SE? And also, having lived in Lagos for substantial period, I am NOT a stranger to SW system wink If you are truly EDUCATED & EXPOSED, some myopic sentiments will flee far from you. Ability to read and write doesn't mean education bro .

3)Instead of the nonsensical and myopic comparison between WAEC and JAMB performance by you here...An educated individual would have googled or sought out MDA PERFORMANCE RATING especially in EDUCATION for SE vis a vis SW by INDEPENDENT cum FOREIGN organizations for some named years...that would have shown you which region is doing what educationally... Drawing such MYOPIC cum BIGOTED conclusion as yours makes your own higher institution certificate acquisition questionable. Because your sense of reasoning doesn't depict that of a "graduate".

4)In all, It is a faceless forum but NEVER a senseless world...Think before you write!!!

Well said bro! Is pure envy and hatred. They are bitter seeing how the Igbos have overtake them after the civil war. It is on record that an average IBO man is better off to an Afonja man despite all their manipulations to pull an IBO man down.

wristbangle:

I am not saying act of cheating won't be recorded in SW region but the examination rules are very strict which leaves little room for exam malpractice and also candidates most time here rely on the studies.

If you look at Jamb result, you will observed that the SW performance is more compare to SE(that doesn't mean yours is not high) but my question is why is your WAEC result dominance not reflecting on JAMB overall performance and higher institution standards?

Dirty Afonja man! Hatred of the igbos fit kill you. Take it easy cos the more you hate them, the more they progress in life. Ibos don't even care if you exist, so why take panadol for their headache? Better go think on how you will be useful to your family and stop hating a tribe that don't give a hoot about your opinion on them. Peace!
