I had actually observed from your comments that you used every opportunity to paint Nigeria bad. You have not even stayed up to one year in Canada, you have started looking at those living in 9ja as stupid. This attitude is very bad and common to newcomers like you. I have seen some newcomers like you degrading Nigeria their home country in front of their white colleagues or friends. Very unfortunate indeed! Granted, Canada has a workable system to an extent while Nigeria system is messed up due to the ruling elites and average 9ja citizens. The fact you are currently living in Canada does not make you much better than someone who has a good job or business in 9ja and doing well in his endeavors. Like I always say, no where in the world is paradise. Every country has their pros and cons. Those who want to migrate to Canada should be allow to migrate in peace, and those who migrated to Canny should allow those living in 9ja to live in peace and stop those unnecessary comparisons. Not everyone will make in 9ja same as not everyone will make it in Canny. The prayer is God should bless the work of our hand wherever we find ourselves.

My Brother, you are one of the very few that is still truly alive. Most of these walking dead mentally enslaved Spiritually Blind Nigerian youths would blind themselves to seeing or planning with you to actualize this highly needed Sensible and timely Vision. The Brainwashed mofos would rather pull down someone that's fighting for their very own Real Freedom. Buhari said it with his own mouth that he was terrified with fear and couldn't answer for over 20 minutes in President Trump's Office when he summoned him and looked him straight in the eye and and asked in anger "Why are you killing Christians in Nigeria?!" If you don't know that Trump asked Buhari this question, then confirm it on Google. Many were saying, BokoHaram is no more killing o! Etc. But the rotten brain-dead idiots that hate to be freed refused to see or give Honour to whom the honour was due. Knowing Trump does not bluff, he would deal with them mercilessly and Nigerian Christians would have been permanently free, Jittery Buhari came back from that trip, BokoHaram killings paused indefinitely. As soon as sleepy Joe was fraudulently declared winner... You know the rest! Just today again in Yobe, look at the Massive Massacre! Satanists love Bloodshed, so Bubu knows that he's wicked plans in this Country now has no formidable Opposer.

As per Satanists decieving the gullible to back their fraudulent take over, Several Grossly silenced and under-reported massive Protests of millions of people from day 1! When physical Real People voted, Trump massively led in most the States. As soon as they say others should mail in their votes, Trump vote became permanently stagnant! Several Dem-loyalist electoral officers were caught live on CCTV stamping multiple newly printed papers termed "mailed-in ballots" for ForBiden. It is a verified fact that the only Votes intentionally councelled were from Trump voters, non from Biden's. A torough Satanists gangup and propaganda! YouTube is removing confirmed Video evidences uploaded, fb is covering Truth Videos and branding it as rubbish, you are being enslaved right before your own eyes yet pretending like nothing is happening. All of you gullible senseless Christians dumb fuuls saying Trump lost, do you know so many Protest that has been going on by Millions since the election? All the now Satanists controlled Media ganged us not the broadcast it. But this is now international because they couldn't Silent that it happened live in White House. Facebook Owner, Twitter Owner, CNN, and others are all in the same Occults that are so much in a hurry to enthrone AntiChrist values. If e sure for Bidden, the Election must be reconducted.

The way you people advertise Canada is so so overrated!! been to Quebec where everyone speaks French it's so fvcked up! language barriers, bad weather, quiet neighborhood... Mississauga, very expensive, unfriendly folks, strict laws etc.. they really need educated and skilled immigrants is that country!

Please quit the hype!!!! USA over Canada anytime any day!

The hype is getting annoying. I have been living in Canada for 10 years and a citizen too. The main difference between Canada and Nigeria is the system works to some extent in the former while the system is messed up in the latter by the ruling elites and average 9ja citizens. Canada is not paradise where you pick money free. Even getting a good job with decent pay in Canada is hard to come by too, especially this era of too many highly qualified professionals coming to Canada. Lots of people in Canada are doing the so called menial jobs (minimum wage). According to statistics Canada many of the jobs are in the service sectors ( jobs in this sector are minimum wage jobs like working in Tim Horton etc). The funny thing is that Nigerians in Canada always feel that because they are in Canada they are better than those in Nigeria (guys be humble both of us know how e dey go for Canny). Some guys in Nigeria are doing better than some of us here. Not everyone will make it in Canada same as not everyone will make it in 9ja. So if you want to migrate, then migrate in peace and stop behaving like those living in 9ja are stupid. Nowhere is paradise. The prayer is God should favor one whereever he finds himself.

Any wise south easterners should distance themselves from this ipob security outfit. Going by the law of the land is illegal, and this is the way society creates a terrorist organization. The funny thing is those igbo people backing and supporting ipob security outfit are not even living in Nigeria and they will be making calls for war. The ipob leader no doubt will lead some foolish youths to their early grave. No south east governors or senators or house of rep members will support this illegal security outfit. Ipob should stop beating drums of war, alaigbo will not survive another civil war again, MNK will not be physically there to fight the war, remember he is a UK citizen. A word is a enough for the wise. The foolish ones will die for nothing but the wise ones will see danger and proceed to conceal themselves. Your curses are welcome in advance (ndi ara ndi ara).

I want progress in alaigbo but not through this format or method. The last time I was in Nigeria, was going from Umuahia to Aba, this ipob boys were extorting motorist with brute force. Even when I use igbo to engage with them, those ipob boys are uncultured and very violent have to drop them some money b4 they allow me to pass through their illegal checkpoint. People that are moving out from Nigeria are low income earner and have poor thinking ability, I just gloth over my colleague in the office dude have a house in Abuja, own a cars and is doing well, all of a sudden dude sold everything and turn up his resignation letter ( with a PFA), next story he relocate to Canada. I mean I can imagine wizkid, davido will say they will leave music career and relocate to another country to start life. My advice to you is to stay in Nigeria and develop yourself, alot of people out there are suffering abroad but will never admit it.

I agree to your last statement. Some people in Canada always overhyped it. This is my 10 years of living in Canada. Had a Canadain degree in computer science. Works as software developer in one of the biggest financial firms here. Earns a decent salary based on Canadain standard. But the reality in Canada is only 10% of the population earns from $80k upward per annum (source: statistics Canada). Canada has more of service sector jobs and warehouses than graduate jobs. Reasons why many people in Canada earns within the range of minimum wages obtainable in their respective provinces. I have seen some Nigerians working at one of Amazon fulfillment centers as associate (job is strenuous and fast paced but pay is minimum wage), and these people will tell you that they were project engineers in one oil and gas company in Nigeria making millions of naira every month without much stress. Sometimes you will see the regrets on their face and some will even blame their wife of causing them to leave their well paying job to migrate to Canny. Here am not discouraging people to migrate to canny. But if you have a well paying jobs or a well paying business in 9ja and are already used to soft life lol, think twice before coming to Canada and prepared your minds that you could end up with menial jobs which you are not used to. But for those who don't have anything much going on for them in Nigeria, abeg japa to Canada. At least serving coffee in Tim Hortons and earning $12 per hour is better than earning 100k per month in 9ja.
NB: No where is paradise even in Canada. So brace up when you land. To OP welcome to the maple land in advance. All the best

Since you tested 5th weeks after exposure, I don't think you have HIV. If the text was done with the 4th gen hiv test at 4weeks after exposure 95% of the people will test positive. Find out if the test was done with the 4th gen hiv test because that looks for hiv antigen and antibiotics. Hiv antigen p24 becomes detectable in the early days of exposure to hiv from 11 to 36days before the body can start producing hiv antibiotics. Infact i can say at 5th weeks after exposure your test result is 95% conclusive. You can retest after 3 months for just peace of mind but I doubt if the result will be different. Abstinence is the best because Jehovah want you to avoid premarital sex (Acts 15:28,29)

Dear Student,

I wanted to make a few things clearer for you as I am getting many E-Mails regarding these issues.

1. You do not need a valid student visa/study permit to register online.

2. If you register and do not get a study permit on time you can be refunded your full deposit, except for the $98 confirmation fee, which is non-refundable.

3. As you are international students the estimated fees are showing $3300 tuition, but you have that paid, so only the other amounts indicated apply.

4. You do not need to make any payments when you register online. All other fees are due by October 6th.

5. If you do not get your study permit on time to enroll in classes by the deadlines already provided we can explore other options.

Did you applied to CONA? My younger bro got the same email from them. He applied on 30th May but still no feedback from cic. He is already getting worried about the whole process.

Hello Jacktours,

This question has always gotten some applicants convoluted. On the norm, medicals is required for applicants applying from most countries of the world i.e. Nigeria.

The answer should be NO if you've not stayed in any other country other Nigeria for 6 months or more. And YES if you've stayed.

Answering YES automatically creates a column in your GCKEY account to upload your medicals. If you answer NO, it won't rather medicals will be requested on a later date. It is the duty of the authorized panel physician to send the test result to IRCC. Also, a copy of the e-medical slip given to you can be sent to IRCC via Webform of Email. This is optional.

All the best

Hi JustMellow, based on your explanation i think I answered Yes to that question in my younger bro application. Answering YES means you are telling cic that you want to complete a medical exam. Since Nigeria is among the countries that requires medical exams, I think answering Yes should be the correct thing to do. Please I stand to be corrected.

Truely, Covid has altered many plans and slowed things down a bit. The aftermath is what we're all looking up to.

As for those saying my 800k is a lie, well I earned 1M up to February before business slowed down. And if I tell you that 800k is no big deal, you'll not agree except you earn up to that to realise that high inflation and increasing needs takes a huge part of it. I'm not even married, yet I know how much I spend monthly. So 800k/m is a very small money, you've to be very strict with spending to meet your expectations.
Bro, 800k per month is a good income in Nigeria, with this income you be saving more than someone who earns the same amount in Canada. But if you are into Tech you will be making more than that in Canada. But here we pay high income tax too. The truth is if your looking to make too much money Canada does not guarantee you that unless you be playing lotto max every week to try your luck. But if you are looking for a decent living then Canada guarantee you that (but you still need to put in the work, nothing is free here). Goodluck in your decision making.

I’ll advice you acquire a high income skill.

A high income skill will make you between $2000 to $10,000 monthly if you are really good at what you do.

Out of the 300k take out some money and pay for a course to learn a high income skill.

This will benefit you greatly trust me.

Hmmm, bro easy oh. Even many intermediate to senior software developers or Data Engineers/Data scientists in advance countries don't even earns $10k net income monthly. So you think taking some udemy courses you bought with $15 will instantly start fetching you thousands of dollars monthly? It does not actually work like that, it takes time and effort to develop highly demanding skill. For example, lots of guys wants to be a programmer but when the going gets tough some will give up on the way and become frustrated.

Computer science is a waste of time. You don't have to be a computer science graduate to practice in that field. You simply need the knowledge and if really want to be grounded in the field, you are definitely not learning that within the four walls of the classroom. The rest is mathematics.

I laugh at this very statement. Infact your statement doesn't make sense. As a graduate of computer science, it has opened lots of opportunities for me to work in some big firms. One thing you must remember that the way computer science is taught in foreign universities is quite different from the way is been taught in Nigeria universities. I was opportuned to have tested both sides of education. My first degree was B.Tech in computer science and mathematics from a Nigeria school. But when I moved to abroad I went back to study computer science major. Abroad schools will exposed you to different programming languages (Java, C++, Python, php, javascript, Css etc ) and you must be doing ongoing projects using the technologies you learned in class and there are work terms where you are required to work in a company and help the company to solve their business problems using the programming skills acquired in class.

Oga I schooled at Covenant for four good years - computer science department! People look at covenant's fantastic buildings and green lawns and conclude that what they teach must be good.

Do covenant produce good employees? Yes. Why? Cos they've been trained to sit and wait for orders. They dress very well (responsibly) - part of the training. Their arts / commercial degree holders would be definitely above average. However, their engineering/science degrees IMO's worthless.

My pal who made an electric car while in covenant didn't learn it from school. His professors didn't understand squat a small part of the car he presented for his final year project.

What part did he present? He called it Variable voltage, variable frequency controller and his lecturers were awed during his presentation. Could not ask a single reasonable question. You know what this VVVF thing is? A giant rotor - just that you can use software to control the speed of the motor.

For employable purpose, you can't do worse than covenant. But if you want to learn programming, Babcock, even futo's better.

My advice? Just do one random simple course. Graduate with first class or 2nd upper with ease. On the side, learn programming online.

Which means Covenant university is just over hype. As I said before I don't know much about them. I made the statement based on what people says about the School. Thanks for giving me a different perspective about the school.
