I was taken to a recruiter"s office not knowing the agent/recruiter was an accomplice using his registered agency to dupe desperate job seekers. He kuku know say while him go dey tell you say dem they work on your case to give you job, your three months visa go expire and you go exit to your country. So how you want take fight them to get your money back when you don expire for visa and you don exit. Na so Dubai registered job agency in collabo with culprit Nigerians dupe innocent newly arrived Nigerians.

My sister, am sorry I don't understand this simple English oooo. Am getting nervous now. Though I stayed with with him the last time I visited and even help him brings goods to NIGERIA. And still have all his contact. He's not an agent but might patronise one to get the visa. I believe God will not place it in his mind to joke with my life. Amen

reading through this thread I realise that life in the UAE is not all that rosy but yet its a bit better than 9ja.
a guy in my street travelled to UAE 2 yrs ago. came back this month with 2 cars (deep) and has started building a duplex.
dis guy has just an o'level, doing labourer's job over there according to him. if this is how ''sweet'' UAE is. dats shows d gurus here are not telling us d truth. or there is more to it.#thinking out loud though

Dnt misquote me, i didnt say d whole 20K shd b given to d immigration officer ooo, it depends on hw d individual "bargain for" with d offiver, bt he always tell me as a first time traveller hold @ least 20K @ hand, cos dose immigration and airpline personel will ask of egunje frm u once

Experts in the house please help me out, I went for an interview yesterday and there are possibilities I will get the job though the salary is not that big I just want something doing before my 3months elaps. I planned going for another interview tomorrow, I don't know if it will affect the processing of my papers if the both of them work out. if I cancel my contract wit my company do I still need noc? Because my company do not want to accept my resignation. Saying that I have to accept to work within the 30days notice period without my basic salary. But mol asked me to tell them to put it in writing and they still refuse. Me don tire . cos my new firm say na my cross to bear but they would wait for me. Do u know any other means I can use?
