Why do you have to lie and fabricate stories? So Buhari's wife is not educated? There are many Fulani women on this website. I don't know about Hausa women on this website. You should first encourage their fathers to start sending them to school. Could you believe that many dont knw how to speak pigin even here in Abuja and are always timid as a result. Historically, the ancestors of most of the Fulani's in Sokoto & the environ came from Mali & its neighborhood ( including La Guinea ). Most of them came to settle down & intermarry with the indigenes ( the Gobir, etc. ) during the dynasty of Shehu Usmanu Foodio,. While others came later.

Fulani slaves in Yorubaland? I laugh in Fulfulde. It was the other way around. Yorubas never had slaves. Probably the Edos (who owned you guys btw) did. I'm not too sure, but definitely Fulanis were never Maccube of Yoruba. Maybe in your wildest dreams that happened my Yoruba friends. But nice try though.

I have seen you write " mi nanataa fulfude" or " debbo pullo" instead of " pullo debbo" which is what most nigerian fulbe use.
Glad to see another one of us on this forum.
But Dendiraawo, us Wesr Africans do not tribes anymore, you find those in east Africa. Tribes and clans are something of the past, at least in most parts of west Africa. I think the term ethnic group is more appropriate. For example there used to be tribes among Mande, Yorubas, Igbos, Fulanis but now the tribes have disappear to give place to a broader identity, the ethnic group.
Now coming back to your question, I am a Pullo from Guinea living in the United States. There is a growing community of fulbe here.

well for the bororo (nomadic fulani) the "shluh" on their faces are usually very many sometimes and mean different things : beautification or the usual identification of family, clan etc

Well OmarBah is from Guinea and I understand him 100%, he speaks the Dialect FoutaDjaaloore (Foutajaloore).

There is an association, it's called KJPF (Kawtal Jangoobe Pulaar Fulfulde).
