if ur down wt d promo thingy,ensure u book ur hotel n visa with emirates (at their office o!) at least 7days before departure date, cheers!

@promise2,do u know using an agent for d visa and hotel is like pennywise poundfoolish? i just did as Amya said, i called d emirates office,then sent someone to go on my behalf to pay for d hotel n visa at their office, now agent would charge u 30k for visa per person but if u book hotel with emirates,ur visa would cost only 76usd per person,dats less than 12k in naira, and if u book 3nights u get xtra night free,i guess since u wanna stay for 8nights u might hv to pay for only 6nights using emirates,then factor in ur visa,i bet ur gonna spend a lot less than 200k, i have booked my hotel and visa for myself n son and we got 70k for everything for 4nights/5days hotel stay, besides,u stil get a free ride to n fro d hotel,and other exciting free stuff, imagine if i used agent,visa alone for myself n son is 60k, i suggest u go to the emirates office n see for urself since ur in lagos, then u can compare offers,

Am not in lagos,can i pay wt my mastercard online while booking,cos i would possibly get to lagos at most a day to the trip, tnx a lot for d help

My leave expires last day of jan, i havent booked my flight yet,still looking out for a good travel offer, did u use an agent to book emirates?i didnt see emirates on d list of flights on www.wakanow.com, saw ethiopian airline and qatar, i guess i should hasten up since my own journey is closer, i wld apprec8 any useful info

u hav given an opportunity to make d rest of my vac worthwhile, i am working towards last week of jan (like 23rd to 30th)
do u have a reliable travel agent for the logistics? i surfed www.wakanow.com and the air fares r quite reasonable, though i wld still appreciate if i can get a better bargain for hotels,flight fares,tour guide etc

I just mailed my initial application via courier,(decided to use my hubby as principal applicant since he is more qualified), however in addition to Liss's question, i wanna know if I should fund my mastercard immediately as i indicated it as my mode of payment,or i should wait for them to respond to me. i want to know because once the mastercard is funded,my funds would be tied in the card if they dont consider the application. also i do not want a situation whereby they would want to take the fees and my card is not funded, whaddaya guys think?

please my colleague just instilled another fear in me, she is using a representative but am not. in my forms i filled the following job descriptions: banking,credit and other investment managers (NOC 0122) AND CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES-FINANCIAL SERVICES (NOC 1433)
accordingg to her, the representative said the above named job descriptions do not fall in the recent job categories that they are obsolete. how true is this please? i do not want to waste my precious time, i actually got these job descriptions from the site www.cic.gc.ca
anyone with concrete info pls help,before i submit the forms,i really do not want to make errors,

pls am also working on this federal skilled workers' thingy, would want to know which city in canada is preferable to stay in,as this is requested in the form? does dat mean that if u fill a particular city, u must stay there?
also, i have two kids (babies actually),who do not have int'l passports yet, cant i just submit this first stage of application successfully without their passport numbers? i really want to get this thing started AQAP
