They already have Wagner on ground so it easier for them to get to their people into position than the US. The US will rely on ECOMOG while the Russians will use Wagner. ECOMOG will need training before joining the battle, while the Wagner are already battle ready.

If the war last 2 weeks, Nigeria will be in trouble. A decisive victory, a knock-out blow within a week will work to Nigeria's advantage, beyond a week, doom will come. This I have seen.
