– Governments of Nigeria and India have agreed on a $15billion transfer of funds to boost the West African country’s ailing economy – The funds is payment for oil exports to India by Nigeria over a certain period of time – The deal is expected to be completed by December 2016 and will see Nigeria get paid the billions of dollars even before it has supplied the products The federal government of Nigeria is set to receive $15bn from the Indian government to help Nigeria solve liquidity issues causing the current economic recession. Punch reports that according to minister of state for petroleum Ibe Kachikwu, the funds is not a loan or gift but payments for oil that Nigeria will later supply to the Asian country He explained that the money is Nigeria’s earning from oil that it will sell to India over a period of time. The Indian government will however ‘help’ Nigeria by paying for the products upfront. India is one of the largest buyers of Nigeria’s oil. Kachikwu, who gave details of how the deal would run, said it is a brilliant way of leveraging the country’s assets to get out of the recession. “Nigeria has a bit of a cash flow problem right now. Our reserves are not as strong as we want them. The impact of that is the value of the naira is coming down. “So, what we are trying is to leverage the assets we have to receive immediate cash,” Kachikwu told reporters. A statement signed by the director, press, ministry of petroleum resources, Idang Alibi explained the terms of the deal thus: “Following this negotiation, the two countries have agreed to work on a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate investments by India in the Nigerian oil and gas sector, and specifically in areas such as term contract, participation of Indian companies in the refining sector, oil and gas marketing, upstream ventures, the development of gas infrastructure and in the training of oil and gas personnel in Nigeria. “The MoU is expected to be firmed up in December during Petrotech-2016. Both ministers also agreed to strengthen the existing cooperation in oil and gas sector, and in particular to explore investment opportunities for Indian public and private sector companies in Nigeria.” Source:- https://www.naij.com/1012854-good-news-india-offers-nigeria-way-economic-recession-15bn.html

Wonders shall never end. In as much as the human minds keep wondering and giving birth to new ideas, the more inventions will be made in the society. Some thousands of years back, the idea of having a vehicle which can travel hundreds of kilometres while carrying people might have sounded strange. That was because this was thought to be impossible because of the primitiveness of that era. So many things have changed in our society now; people are becoming more creative day by day. A vehicle which can move in both water and land has been surfaced. These vehicles are known as water buses and have been in operation for some years now. People often use them in waterfront properties that are not accessible by land. These buses are used mainly for sightseeing. Water buses can move conveniently on water and land. This may not be totally new as there are amphibious aircrafts in existence already. These aircrafts can fly and land on water. The largest amphibious aircraft was introduced by China. This huge craft has features that make it look like a boat and an airplane at the same time. This is exciting considering the fact that so many cars get swept by floods when we have prolonged rainfall. It is terrifying for people to get drowned while in their cars. This amphibious vehicle that can operate in both water and land may be the miracle we need. It is intriguing to know that something that has been seen in science fiction can happen in reality.

– Dr. Paul Enenche , the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has restated that there no law that will stop him from preaching in Kaduna state – The preacher said this in reaction to the recent declaration by the state governor against public preaching in the state – The man of God said he had the right to preach in any part of the state Dr. Paul Enenche , the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has affirmed that there no law will stop him or any other person from preaching in Kaduna state, Daily Post reports. The preacher who was apparently referring to the recent declaration by the state governor against public preaching in the state said he can preach in anywhere including the stadium. Dr Enenche speaking in Kaduna on Sunday, October 16, during a programme tagged Apostolic Invasion said he had the right to preach in any part of the state. He said: “On my way here, I discovered that some persons were sitting in the staircase. The whole place is filled up. I think this kind of thing should be happening in the stadium.” When he apparently remembered the standing law, he quickly said, “don’t worry, no devil can stop us from preaching in Kaduna State. They’ve not born the devil. We are in charge and no devil can stop us from carrying out our assignment.” Recall that a few months ago, the founder of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman vowed that El Rufai will die if he didn’t drop the anti religion bill. The Apostle had in a broadcast, asked the Kaduna governor to reverse the proposed bill, but the governor refused to listen to any of the prophet’s rantings about him and the proposed bill. Another popular Nigerian cleric, Dr Chris Okafor, told the governor that he had about eight days to retract his impending Religious Bill or face the wrath of God.
