TINUBUISMAD:Yeah. Resort to default settings and throw insults. |
ZeroAccess:Yes. I'm voting that man. Enough of ya'll insinuating whoever is voting Tinubu is voting for him because he's directly benefiting from him. For the first two points you raised, it was Obasanjo and not Tinubu who had the chance to create a model democratic country in Nigeria but rather brought about a democrazy country. Obasanjo it was who brought do or die politics into Nigeria. Obasanjo it was who brought money politics.... Maybe you're too young to know about the third term bid and how money was shared on the floor of the national assembly. That same Obasanjo is your messiah's navigator. On your 3rd point, if he indeed introduced life pension for ex governors, it was debated and passed at the state HOA and till date, I don't believe lagosians are suffering because of that. Your 4th point is not something I should even spend time on talking about. 5th point, YES! I'll vote Tinubu cause he brought helped in bringing this government which might not have delivered on all promises but definitely saved Nigeria from the precipice. Imagine a Jonathan government having to manage an economy affected by low oil prices, Covid and other challenges that has affected this administration. Buhari might not have done excellently well but short memory span has made a whole lot of you forget how bad things were in 2014 and early 2015. Your 6th point is exactly one reason I'll vote for Tinubu. After ruling as governor, he ensured a succession plan that has left his state as a model state. A plan that has ensured a continuation of his blueprint for his state and he has even gone further by identifying the right people to carry on this plan and executing it perfectly. Why won't I vote such a good manager of humans? I heard your messiah also tried having a succession plan but that failed. Well, Enough of you lot's emotional blackmail. I'll vote Ahmed Bola Tinubu. Cry if you want |
If its a Yoruba actor supporting Tinubu, he'd have been accused of being paid or being a tribalistic fellow. February 2023 should come already |
Lol. This one no be omo werey. Na agbaya werey be this. King Jofrey of GOT ain't got nothing on this guy |
Make we no talk lie. This man is the candidate to beat in this forthcoming elections so. See the way the focus of the media is on every step he takes. See the attention he has garnered from the primaries till now. With his famed political acumen, I hope all this his traveling and what not isn't him playing an ace he has up his sleeve. That aside, Obi also shouldn't be pushed over but for now, Tinubu is the favorite. You check am na. Atiku has travelled out of the country on rest several times since his own primaries but never has his trips gotten this much traction both on the traditional and modern media channels |
Lol. Na the people wey dey believe say Labour Party go do things differently from APC and PDP I dey laugh. Obi is going upandan meeting with OBJ, Wike, Fayose and the rest of the political class..... The same political class Obi supporters are saying they're tired of and want to be changed. Obi has been part of the Nigerian political system since 2006, Datti was in the Senate and earned jumbo allowances with the rest of them. Doyin Okupe too.... And na these ones some people dey believe say will do things differently. . LP o, APC o, PDP o, they're all the same. Just hustle, make your money and try and provide the basic things government has failed to provide for your family. |
Mehn, all these ones no change anything. Just end look for a way to end this ASUU strike. Whenever I think of schools being shut down for good 6 months at this time and age, my heart sinks. Like, which country is this stuff even possible? And this man wey I for say na mumu if not for the fact that he's the president of my country go still get mind dey pose for pictures with absolutely no shame whatsoever. |
That's the only thing this man is good at. Congratulating people, condoling with others and expressing shock. ASUU has been on strike for almost 6 months and there's no end in sight and shame no catch this president. The ministers of Education and labor are still sitting pretty in their offices despite students losing almost a session due to strike. See, Buhari, hide your head in shame abeg |
Halo22:there was a southern president then.... I think you're forgetting that. And when Yar'Adua a northerner was president, we had Vincent Ogbulafor as chairman. I'm not against having a southerner as PDP national chairman. In fact, if PDP wins the presidential election, its to be expected. But changing the chairman before the election? |
And what happens if Atiku doesn't win? Then, the position of the national chairman which ought to be in the north has shifted to the south.... Which would mean that since 2018,the North has only held the chairmanship position for less than 1 year. Won't this lead to grumbles and crises again? Wo, Atiku should man up, meet with Wike and give him strong reassurance. Maybe make him his campaign DG. PDP got it wrong by not zoning the presidential position to the South. Also, I don't see why an Atiku Abubakar or Bola Tinubu should be contesting for the position of the president of Nigeria in 2023. Why can't these men play the role of respected party leaders and bring out candidates such as Yemi Osinbajo and Peter Obi? The only reason I'm considering voting Obi is because the other parties didn't give me a better option. The reasons I might not vote him are, I don't think he can actually set Nigeria on the right path. He had an above average performance in Anambra but that's it. Just above average. Secondly, his supporters. Kai! I've never seen such rude bullies before. Thirdly, his supporters again. 70 percent of them are ex Biafra agitators who'll return to their Biafra shouts if he loses in 2023. In conclusion, I'd still pick Obi over Atiku and Tinubu.... Not because he's the answer but because I think he's better than the other choices |
All these trillions being used to service petrol subsidy yearly, why not use them to fix the refineries and then totally deregulate the petroleum sector? How long shall government take decisions based on emotions rather than economic logic? Same with University education. Why not allow university autonomy and allow university raise their own revenue and spend it on their schools with only the FG taking supervisory role to discourage corruption? Yeah! High fees and all that will come in but at least with a transparent scholarship scheme..... Maybe say any student who scored 250 or 300 in Jamb qualifies for such scholarship will ensure those who are brilliant but would hitherto be unable to get good quality education qualifies for such. But nah! We'd rather have Endless ASUU strikes and substandard educational system so as to appeal to majority. I'm not an elite nor am I elitist but a serious government needs to take some hard decisions for the benefit of the nation. This petrol subsidy and several others don't help the nation. That said, I've got some very nice auto deals. I've got a 2011 Mercedes C300 for sale @3.9 Million Naira and several other cars like A 2003 Camry, 2006 Toyota Highlander and several others. For inquiries and negotiation, my WhatsApp number is 08089945511

tesppidd:You think? Has Atiku won any election outside of Adamawa state? |
Wike sha, though brash and unpolished, I like this man. He is passionate and tries to do what he feels is best for his state. Normally, I know say the guy dey veeery corrupt and that's why he's working to install his state's accountant General as new governor. But, PDP goofed by not giving the ticket to Wike. Wike would have done beautifully well in leading both PDP to battle and winning.... And with Wike as president, I'm sure insecurity would have been squarely dealt with but they'd rather give their ticket to Atiku Abubakar who is not loyal to the party but has also shown an unwillingness to fight for the party. Why would a presidential candidate of a party be in Dubai chilling when there's crises in his party and the party needs him in d last Gubernatorial election before the General elections? Well, maybe as Obasanjo said in his book, he believes in his money to work for him |
Lol. A local government candidate will pull more crowd than this on a normal day na. That aside, Tinubu must be soo happy with what Obi is doing. Nigga is seriously gonna take votes from where traditionally, is PDP's strongest areas. Southwest is already locked for him. The North would be a battle ground and he still hold a slight edge there. With Obi sharing the SS and SE with Atiku, I think as unpalatable as it is, Tinubu might just become president. Make I go start to farm agbado and cassava to meet demand when he Don enter |
Lol. Normally, Wike has only 1 vote.... Okay, let's give him like 50,000 votes because of people who he has influence on. Why not campaign and try to convince the people to vote for you instead of glorifying one man as if he has an hypnotic hold on millions of rivers state people and they'll only vote for whoever he wants them to vote for. Peter Obi visiting Wike to also court him shows he ain't different from the rest of these dirty politicians. Why can't you ignore Wike, campaign effectively and win these votes? |
Politics is about interests. The interests of these ones weren't satisfied at the last primaries hence them jumping ship. In nit saying Tinubu will win the 2023 elections. Even me won't vote for him but only a neophyte will think Tinubu will get less than 60 percent of votes in any of the SW states. Politics in Nigeria is a tribal affair and the Yorubas will vote their own. Obi might even get more votes than Atiku in the SW sef. |
Mtcheew. True true, Buhari has failed in security and the economy. Basically, Buhari has failed in almost every facet apart from infrastructure where I'll grudgingly give him a B. High score but for the first time since our demo-crazy started, an administration is seriously giving thought to the huge infrastructural deficit that bedevils the nation. That said, Samuel Ortom should just keep quite. This man is the perfect definition of failure who latches onto the state of insecurity in his state as a ready made excuse for his monumental failure. Even Borno state which is the hotbed of Boko Haram still has a whole lot of achievements in governance to show. EL Rufai inspite of the security challenges in Kaduna has a score card to show. Maybe Samuel Ortom should show us what he has been able to achieve in over 7 years of being a governor in Benue state. |
When I saw the news of his resignation yesterday, I was beyond shocked.... Shocked that an African man will willfully resign from such a position. African that'd rather die in office than accept to resign. Its all clear now that he was forced.... Maybe they even revealed some dirt they have on him |
Henrybright:Thanks |
Hello everyone, can someone pickup an item on my behalf from the post office? My package arrived at the post office since 3rd of June and I wasn't aware. Been waiting for a call since and I only just found out its at the local post office. Unfortunately, I'm out of the state atm. So, I'd like to know if the package can be picked up on my behalf or I can request a transfer to my present location from Nipost.... I know it'd involve some extra cost tho |
Lol |
Please, is there any means through which I can contact Nipost? My order arrived Nigeria since 2nd of June and I'm yet to get any sort of contact from them? I'll like to know the status of my package lemme arrange to go pick it up if na d delivery dey hard them to do |
asobo1:Enough of the PDP sabotaging GEJ in 2015 balderdash ya'll have been holding onto. The deciding factor in 2015 wasn't the north but the SW votes that tilted to GEJ. One thing ya'll have never taken cognisance of in this your Sabotage story is the fact that since 2003, Buhari has always performed incredibly in the North and only needed d South to actualise his ambition. Would a senatorial or HOR candidate sabotage his own election because of tribal sentiments? Or have you forgotten that we aren't politically sophisticated to vote different parties for votes being held on same days? |
spencekat:lol. The same Adamawa where he lost his polling unit in 2019? |
As if he has a choice. But for real, APC is the favorite for the forthcoming elections. Apart from the power of incumbency, see the attention their primaries garnered these past few days. Beyond that, unless there's internal sabotage, APC in the north retains a very strong structure and though Buhari hasn't performed up to expectations, he's still quite popular among the northern folks. Add that to Atiku's being not that a popular figure up north, Obi's likely taking a chunk of the SE and SS votes that are normally PDP's, you'll realise that as unpalatable as it may seem, we're looking at a Bola Tinubu's Presidency in 2023. Even Atiku's NE is not sure for him. Infact Apart from Bauchi, Taraba, Adamawa and Benue, I don't see Atiku performing too well in d North. Tinubu got SW locked down, Kwankwaso will post some impressive numbers in Kano and Jigawa but APC will still come tops |
