ENIGMATIC2023:The results are there. Go and check. Politically, Oshiomole is king of the North. Well, for someone who is oblivious of who won Edo North, how do I expect you to know this? |
If you think this is the end of Oshiomole politically, you're in for a rude shock. One way or the other, Oshiomole's hold on his zone(Edo North) is still very strong and in the scheme of things, he's still a strong influence in Edo politics..... Unlike a certain Chief Oyegun. I'll expect Oshiomole to leverage on his hold in Edo North and use it as a base for a political comeback. All these analysis and stuff sef nor change the fact say Oshiomole no fit suffer again for him life and he still has enough influence to fix people in positions both in Edo and outside Edo. Abeg make I leave here go hustle how me too no fit suffer again for this life |
The way things are, Obaseki will most likely lose a free and fair election but me can tell you he isn't ready for that and so, he's ready to lose an arm and a leg to rig this election...... That's if he doesn't have his way with the judges handling the APC's candidate's eligibility case. Anyhow, na dem dem. May the best rigger win |
LadyG97:Shioooor |
And after this, they'll return to the trenches..... And, all is fair in love and war. This is war. My advice, let them fight their war themselves. No politician go use me catch cruise |

mamotalk:How about You tell me about his achievements in sectors other than the aforestated ones? |
mamotalk:Well, I'm talking about the ones I witnessed. Generally, Obaseki has spent more time talking about how Oshiomole said Ize-Iyamu is a thief and how he's fighting to end Godfatherism than on his achievements for four years. I don't expect you to agree with me but I'm an Edo man and Obaseki has performed below standards in all spectrums bar payment of salaries and basic education. If you disagree, I'd be waiting for your response that's backed up with verifiable proofs |
mamotalk:Just shut it already. I really didn't want to talk but this your comment is riddled with soo many falsehoods I had to reply. Obaseki always campaigning with achievements? I'll give you an highlight of his campaign to Akoko Edo. In Igarra, all he could count as achievement is the fact that an Akoko Edo man was appointed as Chief of staff, another as deputy speaker and yet another appointment for another. In Ososo, all he could do in his campaign was lampoon the member representing Akoko Edo constituency 2 and the deputy speaker who happens to be from the community of collecting 40 million to support Oshiomole. Well, you can say what you want. We in Edo know what's up |
Flytime:Thanks |
Someone please come to my aid. My one month old Nokia 5.1 plus is seriously hanging and driving me nuts. Most times, I'm scared to open the camera and other apps. Has anyone experienced this? What's the possible solution? |
This is funny. Is someone getting scared? Man, why not concentrate on your campaigns and stop crying wolf when obviously, there is none? |
Happy birthday madam Ex-speaker. Truth be told, this woman no do worse than her fellow legislooters. Hers became sensational because she was a woman. In all, Nigeria's history cannot be written without a mention of her name |
VirginFinder:See, just shut up. I'm from Ososo in Akoko-Edo local government area. Over 50 percent of the people in this place have Yoruba names or surnames.... But, we ain't Yoruba. We've never been and we'll never be |
Like this ehn, Obaseki is now fighting on two fronts. The plan is to get his hands busy.... |
Didi2d:God bless you |
Kindledlight:LOL..... Why won't it be an eyesore when he had nothing to campaign with? |
benzion72:Well, u don't have one vote on September 19.... Was Edo not in debt when Adams came in? Did he use that as an excuse? Bros, na when person no perform he go dey look for excuses |
Didi2d:Not forgetting that he sponsored petitions against Odubu when he was appointed NDDC chairman simply because he wasn't in his camp. He's fighting Godfatherism but he's himself now a godfather. He's fighting Godfatherism but he would have still been in APC if they gave him option of first refusal or allowed for indirect primaries which is less democratic |
benzion72:Will u spare me that balderdash? Firstly, are you an Edo man? If you ain't, then abeg move ahead |
Didi2d:It will definitely be a tough one. And to be honest, me and many people I know won't vote for PDP because of Obaseki. Forget what you read in the papers. Obaseki hasn't done anything.... And his so called fight against Godfatherism is juat a ruse to cover his non performance |
Didi2d:Your cousin in Auchi will tell u APC holds an edge. Oshiomole has Afenmai land on his side |
atemi01:Well, that's another thing. Overall, I can't predict Edo south.... But for the North and Central, it will be shared. |
Didi2d:The Election will be a hard fought one for both parties. I haven't been to Edo South since Covid started so, I don't how things are shaping up over there. In Edo North, APC hold sway and they'll Coast to victory here. Edo Central has traditionally been a PDP stronghold and this election will only witness them consolidating their hold in the area. Which makes everything boil down to Edo south which also have the highest number of voters.... And unfortunately, I really don't know anything about Edo South politics presently apart from hearsays |
Afolabimills:Did you ask this same question when he virtually did all Obaseki's campaigns for him in 2016? Did you ask this question when Oshiomole virtually carried Obaseki on his back to Osadebey Avenue? |
Lol..... Well, PDP didn't capitalise on that then na. Say what you may. Obaseki has disrespected the revered Oba of Benin..... Na the one wey dey ground we dey talk bros |
Lol. Someone should help me tell Kola Ologbodiyan that elections are not won on the pages of newspapers. While PDP is busy holding press conferences, APC are reaching out to the people at the grassroots. I hope ya'll don't shout about rigging when the results are announced. They say Obaseki has turned Edo to London..... Yet, he has nothing to campaign with. In Oshiomole's 2012 campaign, he didn't even have to talk. D projects were visible even to the blind. The other day, Obaseki was in my community for campaigns.. Dude had nothing to point to in my hometown and indeed the full local government area.... He resorted to propaganda about how someone asked him to give him 100,000 dollars for support, how a certain someone is supporting Oshiomole because he gave him 40 million. Like, come on bro, this ain't what we asked na. I even had an interaction with the personal assistant to the deputy governor and that one can't point to any Obaseki's achievement. Na to pay crowd to attend campaign? Masquerade wey comot welcome am na 100k |
Mmm |
Camp A blames camp P, camp P rebrands and the blame and throw it back to Camp A. Me I'm tired o. The choices open to we Edolites are too hard to pick from. Do we pick an Obaseki who performed below the standards set by Oshiomole in his first 4 years and would definitely do worse in his second term? Or do we vote for an Ize-Iyamu who was SSG to the worst government in Edo history? As for the other candidates, e be like those ones just want make them put am for their biographies say them first contest for governorship |
The explanation Amaechi gave is very logical and thankfully, we are actually seeing the fruits of all the loans.... Unlike previous governments that collected loans and had nothing to show for it. Take it or leave it, Amaechi has been the best transport minister in Nigeria..... Whether your hatred let u see am or not no concern me |
