Alaniyiokorausa:Are you a mumu? |
No biggie here. He paid her a visit and it's only normal she prays for his success as an elder. Ya'll stop politicising everything. Good move by both parties as they both show our African ideals come first before some petty politics |
Mandeyy:LOL. If you believe what you type up there, then I know for a fact u also believe Santa comes from the north pole once every year and whistling in the night brings spirits |
nzeobi:Yes, Kwakwanso contested the 2019 elections against Ibrahim Shekarau and he was roundly defeated |
Iamgrey5:Yes, Kwakwanso is quite Popular but, as a presidential candidate, does he have an appeal beyond the North? Can he compete financially and charismatically against say ElRufai or Tinubu? I believe Atiku still has more of a nationwide spread(Tho age won't be in his favor come 2023). This recent election shows that and had it not been for the fact that he was contesting against Buhari who can be aptly termed king of the north, he may just have won |
Iamgrey5:Is he? Need I tell u that as an incumbent governor, Kwakwanso lost reelection in 2003? In 2011, he won due to d internal wranglings in Kano CPC and his senatorial election in 2015 can be attributed to the Buhari factor. D only time Kwakwanso has stood independently against a formidable Buhari party, he lost woefully. Does this point to a popular candidate? |
babyfaceafrica:If you can't see that's a typo, then there's no reason you should be on this forum |
Iamgrey5:Are we talking about the same Kwakwaso that couldn't win his senatorial District election? |
If PDP can get their act together, 2023 might just be the year they finally take back power. The only edge APC has over PDP is PMB and come 2023, PMB won't be on the ballot. A study of the voting trends in the recently held 2019 elections will reveal that PDP comfortably has two regions(SE/SS) in its control and in spite of Tinubu's famed political sagacity, PDP retains a foothold in the South West. With Buhari not contesting in 2023, d Northern votes will be up for the taking and it's now left for PDP to grab the initiative and firstly play the role of a virulent opposition party pre 2023, organising a transparent selection process that will present a credible candidate who is acceptable to majority of the members of the party and d Nigerian voters and also running an issue based campaign. In all, 2023 is open for PDP, APC and any third force that may emerge between now and then |
Hi everyone. My cousin's Kofa page shows admitted but his JAMB caps is still saying no admission given yet. What could be wrong and how can this be resolved? Cc: draei |
Otipari jare. If u followed the proceedings of the PEPT and was not just shouting the Atiku is coming mantra, you'll discover that Atiku's legal team did a very shoddy job, their witnesses were just a joke and this particular issue of server was just dead on arrival. In general, Atiku should just have gone home and count his losses after the election. He lost woefully. Like really woefully. His sycophantic followers(Them Buba Galadima) were the ones that coaxed him and I believed he went to court to save face. No one should say anything about Buhari intimidating the Judiciary or that the Judiciary is dead because of this judgment o. Atiku had no case from the onset and the Judiciary should actually be applauded for a diligent job . I hope the final Judgement orders the PDP and Atiku to pay the legal charges of APC/Buhari and also an apology to Nigerians for wasting our time |

Lolz. See this my guy. Its never too late bro..... My story long and you can check my previous posts to see it. But in all, e no ever too late. I know of a man who started primary school at the age of 21(Unbelievable but na only him talk am and I don't think he has any reason to lie to me). Guess what bro? He rose to the top management of the central bank where he retired and is gracefully enjoying his retirement. E no ever dey too late my brother |
HBB1:Started his career as a Doctor in the federal ministry of health from where he rose to the position of a deputy director in the ministry before he retired to dabble into politics.... If that doesn't qualify him to head d health ministry, I don't know what does |
HBB1:Oh? Former governor, former Senator and a successful doctor.... I think he'll do well in that ministry..... Who do you think is more qualified to head the health ministry in that list? |
linocol0075:Interior would be perfect...... We have too many issues right now and Mamora's ability will best be utilized in that ministry |
For Buhari to drop Danbazau and that ex minister of defence, I believe this incoming cabinet will be better.... But I seriously don't understand why Ogbonnaya Onu is being retained as a minister. I can't see any impact of his in d development of science and technology during the first four years...... And Ngige is being wasted in that ministry of labor and productivity. I hope he's moved to health. I'll propose Fashola keeps power, Aregbesola get works, that Kano major gets defense, Akpabio gets Niger Delta, Hadi Sirika, Malami, Lai Mohammed and Amaechi keep their old portfolios, the Oyo guy gets Communications.... As for Osagie Ehanire, I really don't get the basis for his return....... Apart from being a staunch ally of Buhari since the ANPP/CPC days, and being an in law to TY Danjuma |
Good for him.... But me, I'd pick the house of reps position over a ministerial position any day....... Unless the ministerial portfolio is FCT which is equal or slightly less than the position of state governor. Unlike a ministerial position which is an appointment that can be terminated at any moment, the house of reps is for a fixed term(unless there's a recall). Secondly, the house of reps position gives one a better opportunity to directly impact on the lives of people closer to home and last but not least, the perks of office of a house of reps member exceeds those of a minister. In all, I wish him d best and whichever one he decides to take. |
XaintJoel20:Can you enlighten me on some of these '' developmental works'' |
XaintJoel20:Two questions sir. One, Are you in Edo state? Two, what's the basis for your assertion? |
Edo has one of the highest debt profiles and yet, we have nothing to show for it. From Lucky Igbins to Oshiobobo and no w Obaseki, Edo has had it rough with their governors. Before ya'll might attack me and shout Obaseki is working and all such bullcrap, biko take a trip down to Edo and you'll see the difference between what the media are saying and the reality on ground. Apart from prompt payment of salaries, Obaseki has done nada in the state. I hear people talking about employment... Biko, I'll like to see the statistics of people he has employed into the civil service since the inception of his administration and the industries his policies has attracted. Na infrastructure? In his first four years, Oshiomole did way more in terms of infrastructural development... Tom Line, Ekenwan Road and other major roads in Benin city are in dire need of repairs. If only Edo can have a visionary governor who can tap into the agricultural potentials of Edo north and part of Edo south, the limestone and other solid minerals that abound in Ososo and Okpella not to mention the tourist potential that abound in Ososo and Benin kingdom and the undoubted human potential that abounds the length and breath of my dear state, we would be the only competition to Lagos.... And ya'll better stop hyping Obaseki. That ugly nincompoop is a failure.... Same as Oshiomole in his 2nd term |
unite4real:My bad. It's actually 4 out of 5. President, Proposed SP, proposed HOR speaker, CJN. |
asalimpo:I get your point.....But my story is still in process. I'll certainly share it when I graduate. I feel it will be more inspiring then |
Yungmakavelli:Hey! Just believe in yourself...... I know you can do it and you gon do it. At the end of the day, we'll all have course to celebrate and a story to tell that will motivate others never to give up. |
Allansmith:Amen.... Thank you |
Esthered:Amen. Thank you |
nams77:Thanks brother |
Sorrento:UNIBEN |
gnykelly:Thanks bro. Why say die when there's still life to be lived? |
Mtcheeew. This one na Mumu. In 2010, I got admitted. My admission got into my head and I began to think I'm super brilliant to gain admission at 16. I lost focus and it wasn't until my final year (When water don already pass garri) that I woke up from my delusion. Did all that was humanly possible to make up for my past errors (Including not registering some courses in 400 Level so I can have an extra year and more time to prepare for the exams.). Went for clearance in 2016/17 and I learnt that I had a 200 level CO i never re registered for.... And by that time, course registration had expired and I was deemed to have overstayed my time in the school. 4 years wasted! I was demoralised. Me that was the hope of d family fa! Did I contemplate suicide? Not at all..... I believe so far there's life, there certainly will always be hope. I went back, wrote JAMB, got admitted into d same institution (Albeit a different department) and I am already in my 2nd year. Na just one extra year this one get he wan kill himself. Truth is, It's never over unless you give up. Tho, it's hard, When you fail, dust yourself up, learn from ur mistakes, apply the lessons learnt and give it a push again and again till you succeed. SUICIDE IS NEVER AN OPTION. |
Finally, President Muhammadu Buhari is performing his duty as leader of the party. Prior to this period, he has exhibited a certain form of aloofness and when the leader doesn't exert authority, the followers will run riot. Having seen the consequences of his aloofness between 2015 and 2019, I expected him to have exerted his authority so as to avoid a reoccurrence way earlier. But, better late than never. P.S: I don't think that a country with two major religions should have 4 of the top 5 positions occupied by adherents of just one religion.... While zoning the offices, d APC should have considered this fact. |
