I have always say it,there is nothing special about Stephen Keshi and his team, winning the Nation's Cup was because of Luck, and you can't always be lucky.

There is no improvement in the National Team,no technical input , almost all the players are playing independent of any technical instruction.

I am a fan of Local coaches, but Keshi is not just it.

uzolexis:
yeah i get your point but it would be difficult to trust him especially around your friend
That is why I will advise you say yes to him only if you 'think he is serious' and not some guys that are out to sample ladies. Beside trust is very important in relationship,by mere chatting with him, you will know if he is someone that can be trusted.

While chatting or talking to him on Phone, look beyond the sweetness of the words that he might be telling you at that moment, picture him without those words and see if he can be truly trusted, remember ,no matter how we try to hide our original intentions, prolong communication will tend to expose it, so look beyond the sweetness of his words.

uzolexis:

no, he met both of you together and goes for your friend before you. Your friend turns him down then he comes for you.........
Okay, I get the gist now, but I am still of the opinion that because he went for your friend first does not mean you are his fall over/ second choice, don't you think the young man would've gone somewhere else, but instead,he still want to remain in the 'Circle'

My point is that, you shouldn't see as a choice thing, if you have feelings for him and if you think he is serious and sincere about what he want, you should overlook who he asked out first and enjoy your time with me. You never can tell, your friend's rejection can be a blessing in disguise.

I don't see it as a first and second choice thing, just as the writer above said, human are way beyond fruit, we can not conclude that the young man is trying to fall back at you as second Choice, going by your write up,there is a possibility that he has never seen you before that day whereas he has seen the other lady walk around.

There also a possibility that he (the young man) must have be alerted to you maybe because of some nice and inviting trait you displayed when he came to approach your friend and he liked it that was why he came back( remember there are other ladies out there and he chose to go talk to them bu)t

Being as it may work out, the thought of seeing yourself as a lower/ second choice should not stop you from accepting someone that you will willingly want to accept on a normal day.
Best of luck .

@Op, you are so right, especially Number 3, there is no law that says you can not compliment your fellow lady that walk by,instead they will scrutinize her from head to Toe in order to have excuse to talk bad about her.

No 6 is also a big turn off... Why lie when He will eventually know the truth?

Romance / Re: Wife Material: Intelligent Girl Or Gentle Girl by Handsomeemmy(m): 9:51am On Jul 23, 2014
There is no comparism between both, intelligence and gentle are one of the many attributes of a wife material, if you are intelligent and arrogant, it is safe to say that you are not a wife material. I don't expect a wife material not to posses an element of gentility.
Business / Re: PHCN Estimated Billing Is Closing Down So Many Small Bussinesses by Handsomeemmy(m): 7:41am On Jul 15, 2014
Same thing happened to my office in Kano, bill went up from 3000 naira to 15, 000 plus, I went to their office to lay complain and request for Pre-paid metre for more than four month with no response, I also wrote a complain letter to the business manager and they stamped and acknowledged the receipt of the letter yet nothing was done.
So after they brought the last bill sometimes last month, I waited till the beginning of this month, I sent my security man to their office to pay for the bill with the instruction to them( PHCN) to come and remove their wires and old metre.
That same day,the business manager I have been begging and chasing up and down called me and apologise of their inability to attend to my complaint and promise that something will be done by Monday,(I took action on Friday), true to his words,by monday morning they brought new 3 phase pre-paid metre and install it free of charge .

I can feel the pain of the OP, government agencies and the most corrupt entities we have in this country, and who runs it? NIGERIANS.
OP,ask for disconnection, it is better for me to spend of fuel than spend of light I hardly get for 3 hours but charged exorbitant rates.

Best analysed article I have read on Nairaland for a while. Though the Obas and Igwes of ethnic bigotry lane will not support my view.

As youths born after the civil war, we owe a lot to our country, we need to make things right.

Romance / Re: I Have A Problem! by Handsomeemmy(m): 10:21am On Jul 03, 2014
As a lawyer in the making, I expect that you will not have such a problem.

However, I have this feeling that it is not all about stage fright but more of " will people approve of me ? What will they say concerning my type of singing?

You desire approval from people which I won't say is a bad thing, but learning to make use of only the useful comment of people will help you.

My submission, welcome criticism, don't be afraid to fail instead be ready to turn failure or disappointment into your strength.

Wish you the best lawyer.

Good one Mr President, even if I don't totally agree with all your policies, the place of fun and relaxation should not be frown on.

People please, it is not everything you connect to politics, Obama picture and most of you guys applauded it, why will that of Gej be different.

Please don't allow your disagreement about some of his policies lead you to hate God's creation.

Happy sunday.
