I mailed a picture to the mods and suggested that they should use that one instead. They've now changed the picture.

The NAF conducted similar exercises in 2014. The planes spooked some nairalanders (and twitter users who tweeted @ Gidi_Traffic). I'm currently searching for that thread.

You've done right.

C 130 for training? What type of training is that? Maybe to conveying of troops and heavy military weapon like Armoured person carrier or the T72 tanks. It is all good that information has been passed across to the populace but that plane and Noise are inseparable.

I know some of you are here to check names, whether we like it or not, they re Nigerians and seen abroad as Nigerians, every tribe that make up the entity called Nigeria have their own bad eggs, we should join hands together, re- orientate our people from the north to the south , East and West and make them see reasons why legitimate business is important.

u made a very salient point bro. Lemme clarify u on some things.
Firstly the northerners have a simple life, which the religion helps 2enforce.
Then d core of d matter, things are not evenly distributed. There're more private firms in d south than d north. Majority of southerners are more enterprising than their northern counterparts. What %age of households in d north consume pure water compared to d south.
Hair barbing should not be costlier in d community of vultures. Structural situation of things in d country makes life tougher in d south, but its not true. I'm looking for a better way to put it clearer without writing long epistle, but d current is caused by structural inbalance n ideals not greed.
Lemme reiterate, anyday this country restructures to regional autonomy, south'll be better heaven than it is.

Thanks bro for your intelligent input, in as much as you raise some important point, I don't want to believe on hang glaring act of greed, winner takes all and huge profit at all cost of the shoulder of imbalance in the way th country is structure, remember the North is educationally backward but they are not as hardened heart like my brothers and sisters in the south, do you know that house rent in the north was one of the cheapest (though still cheap now compare to the south) but my brothers from the south are teaching these people how to increase it unnecessarily.

My brother I have a lot to write about but I am not in the mood to write for now.

We need re- orientation in the south, we claim to be Christians/ Muslims and claim to know more than this people, but our hearts is desperately wicked.

5 naira it is in Kano. Just like someone said earlier, the southerners (South south, South east and south west) are the cause of their own problem, we southerners living in the north do buy things very cheap, sometimes when you hear how much my brothers pay for transportation in the south, one will begin to wonder if we are from same country, just as I have always said, the North would've been the best place to live if not for crisis, most of the southerners hate themselves and the level of greed is beyond normal, we always want to make 1000% profit all the time whereas the average Hausa man is contented with what they make everyday and we always think we are wiser than them yet they are also in position of authority, they take live very simple.

We the southerners need to tell ourselves the truth, we dislike one another that's why it is easier for government to take advantage of us. I have lot to say on this but let me go back to work.

N:B Southerners include (Yoruba, Igbo, Binis and everyone after river Niger).
My name is Temi, I am just here to make common sense.

Romance / Re: Is My Girlfriend Pregnant? by Handsomeemmy(m): 12:21pm On Jan 25, 2016
It can be Hepatitis, appendix or normal stomach ache , some ladies experience stomach ache during their period, it can also be Typhoid fever. I would advise that you asked her if it is normal for her to experience such during her period.

But the best option is to take her to hospital/lab for test.

You guys don't understand, it is not the going to the club thing, think wide. Maybe the guy called her earlier and she refused to pick the call, Maybe she lied to the guy that she was home and about to sleep, maybe she lied to the guy that she wasn't feeling well, Maybe she lied to the guy that she was home studying, maybe she picked a quarrel with the guy few minutes ago just to have an excuse to leave his presence. So much maybes , You hardly can trust some of these ladies.

Career / Re: How Much Should A Warehouse Manager Get Paid As Salary? by Handsomeemmy(m): 6:43pm On Oct 15, 2015
Hmmm... I am a warehouse manager just like your friend, have been in this position for almost 3 years, I want to tell you that when I got the Job, it was answer to prayer because it was a big upgrade on my previous job as a wholesale executive, fast forward to this moment, though the salary is no longer commiserate with the economy of our country today, I didn't put my eyes on the goods I'm suppose to look after, I do my work diligently and have been submitting my C V and trusting God for a better upgrade.

Your friend should not be tempted to leave that job if he does not have another job that pay higher and guarantee job security, he should also remove his eyes from people's property and face his work.

Lastly, I got this present I'm doing because the person before me did not take her work seriously and with all diligence, as I am typing this , she has been jumping from one low part-time job to another, even jobs whose salaries are not half of what she earn before.

Yoruba people 'hardly' segregate, a friends once told me his best friend and helper is a Yoruba, and the person he hated most is a yoruba man, The friend is from Kaduna and he named his First daughter Motunrayo.

We the Yoruba are very accommodating, it is when some one try to play smart on us that we react and pay them back in their own coin.

I quite agree we must start somewhere... I agree with modesty in dressing but not fundamentalism....Only if the leaders have the right intent like I can see in your spirit will this be productive but they are interested in giving the people fear instead of boldness.
May God truly help His Church and help us to make the right at all time.
God help the Church

Pausibly..... yet that doesn't justify the rules and regulations bearing in mind God doesn't ask us for wedding in the first place did He? No weavon, no earring.... no this... no that.... the people writing this laws are saying they are above this things and they sit to Judge anyone that errs. This is not a solution to the negative tides in the churches today as it is it is the problem; the rules and regulations. The solution is the Holy Spirit.Let the leaders leave out rules like do not touch,do not wear and concentrate on Teaching the flock to depend on the grace of God. If asked how these things were wrong Trust me they will have no Biblical injuction to back it up.
You are right in almost everything you wrote up there, in as much as the Spiritual is more important than the physical, the physical should not be neglected, the church is not just a home of grace but of rules and Regulation, what's outside can hardly destroy except what is inside agree with it, it is a fearful thing to play with the tail of a snake, I don't see it as passing judgement, I see it as setting standard so that people will follow, it is better I nurture the few sheep I have than for me to invite goats in and call it sheep altogether. See, I am not saying the elders are free from sins or righteous, but this rules are not to hard too adhere to.
Conclusively spiritual growth should be encouraged in our churches as you rightly said, if it is sustained, there won't be needs for all these rules, but you have to agree with me that we must start from somewhere.

Did the Bible Teach the above or the church itself? The bishop said and I quote "They are expected to respect the 'beliefs' of the Church" Seems here the belief of some reta.rdee is what is paramount not the Faith of Christ!
The Bible enjoyed believers to dress moderately and not seductively, the Bishop and Church elders have done litttle or nothing wrong here, you will agree with me that there is need to stop the current negative tide of what is happening is our churches today, one can hardly differentiate some churches from club house.

Politics / President Buhari, A Presidential President? My Opinion by Handsomeemmy(m): 8:12am On Jul 24, 2015
In view of this statement attributed to the President of Nigeria by @SaharaReporters: #BuhariDC: Pres @MBuhari suggests that Nigerians who gave him 97% of their votes will be better treated than those that gave 5%, #assuresall. I HAVE THESE WORDS TO WRITE.

I disagree with everything the president

said, his statement is a violation of the

Constitution of the federal republic of

Nigeria that gave him the power of

presidency over the Entity called Nigeria and
not to one section of the country or to those

who voted for him. This statement is gross of
Him and uncalled for, the Bible said it all,

out of the abundance of the Heart, the

mouth speaketh, PMB has shown to all that

the statement he made during his

Inauguration that he belong to Everybody

and Nobody is just words spoken out of

excitement without power or will backing it

up, indeed he has shown and He is still

showing that he belong to a section and not

to all sections. The president should look for

ways in helping the Nation develop into an

entity that will become the envy of other

Nations instead of trying to be vindictive, I

know some section of the country voting

overwhelming for him, but since the day he

was sworn in, He cease to be the leader of

just a political party or a leader from a part

of a Country, the swearing in gave him the

power of leadership over all and should be

fair to all under his leadership,The President needs to become more Presidential not only

in 'Photo, Travelling, but also in Speech,

Actions and conduct' Just as it is being said,

To whom much is given, Much is equally expected,

this assertion means that He is suppose to

spread his leadership tentacles to all nook

and crannies and not to just people who

voted for him, this statement of his in not

expected from an occupant of the great

office of the President and Is capable of

fanning the ember of hatred among the

populace, though an apology with do little

or nothing, He needs to do that as quickly

as possible and not trying to defend what's

not defendable, Let me stop here, what's

wrong is wrong and does not have another

name.

Somethings are not to be defended, he is

wrong this time around.

My advice to him is to carry everyone along

irrespective of party or sectional affiliation.

He is the President of the Federal Republic,

May God bless him and continue to give him

more wisdom.
